Hot sauce

Do you like garlic? Do you REALLY like garlic? Would you want to try some really unusual garlic stuff, like garlic cheese or garlic fudge or garlic chocolate, etc., etc., etc.? Ummm, I like garlic in things that are supposed to have garlic. Red sauce, garlic bread, etc. The notion of garlic in fudge is a little icky. Can I talk to you about the living dead? How do you feel about Zombies? You can talk all you want, but just don’t make me look at them. If you happened to be my Witchee, is there something you'd like from the Arcana Halloween update? This is answered in my other e-tailer wishlist blog entry How many bottles of BPAL do you have? 189 (HOLY CRAP! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?) with 17 more incoming from the gigantic (for me anyway) lab order I placed last night. Is there any exercise program that you're interesting in learning? Meditation, Yoga, Pilates, Belly Dancing, Zumba ect? Or if you do any of these (or anything else sport related) are there any things you need/want? Candles, music, mats, water bottles ect? I love the idea of Belly Dancing, but there are no classes or anything around here, so I’ll probably just love the idea. Anyone else into Emily Autumn? Who? What's on your walls? Okay, I copied and pasted the questions and answers from someone on the SW thread; hopefully I am caffeinated enough to do this right.   I think I did this right!   9/22/10 Do you have a deviantart print wishlist or favourites list?: Minime, amice. I am happy with the 2 (3?) etailers I have, heh What kind of shoes do you need/want? What size shoes do you wear? Would you mind gently used shoes? I wear size 10s. I guess I *SHOULD* come up with shoes I want/need because I don't have many...but I only ever wear like, earth shoes or things of that nature. A pair of ballet flats would be nice. I did recently get a pair of smoking hot Clark's boots. Brown would be good. Do you like paper dolls (new or vintage) or coloring in books?: I rarely have time to perform the zen task of coloring and my child would automatically assume they were for her. I think the whole Zombie trend is fun. Fig, black currant, calla lily, vanilla sandalwood   Review:   In the bottle: It’s a moderately strong smell of fig, currant, and sandalwood.   Wet: It’s much softer on my skin, and much more floral (probably the calla lily), with a touch of vanilla, and something sweet and fruity in the background.   Dry: Not bad, it’s floral, yet fruity as soon as the fig comes back, with a little bit of bitterness and darkness.   Verdict: I love this one too! So far, except Forbidden Desire, the American Gothic collection suits me well, and I think I still have 2 samples to try... I'm impatient to see if they're as good as the ones I have tried so far!

9/21/10 Do you like garlic? Do you REALLY like garlic? Would you want to try some really unusual garlic stuff, like garlic cheese or garlic fudge or garlic chocolate, etc., etc., etc.? NO. THE MEMORIES. THE HORROR. When I was in sixth grade we went to a garlic festival at an otherwise lovely dining establishment. Everything was over-garlicky, but my sister and I are all, "Well, at least there is dessert and that will be nom and not garlic." Vanilla ice cream with garlic honey sauce. First of all, it's the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten. Second of all, I'm kind of scarred for life when it comes to "garlic" and "unusual".   Can I talk to you about the living dead? How do you feel about Zombies? Generally, they are hilarious. I loved Zombieland after the first 15 minutes of too violent/gross for me. I'm such a girl that way. However the things like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? I ADORE them in concept. In execution, the author is so pitifully below Jane Austen's writing style and level that I can't actually stand to read them.   9/20/10 If you happened to be my Witchee, is there something you'd like from the Arcana Halloween update? I know you aren't asking me this, so I just take the chance to say <3 you!   How many bottles of BPAL do you have? Really? Really? Crap. 61. Many of which were acquired as (low level) partials and one of which makes me so sad, I actually don't like looking at it anymore (ask me about the FULL bottle of Snow Glass Apples that I spilled everywhere five seconds after getting it)   About 20 of them probably need to be sold or swapped off at this point. I just am so lazy in that respect. Cooking wise, I do okay but am challenged with roasting big pieces of meat.. haven’t quite learned the art of this. My favorite cookbook is the Joy of Cooking – I love how crazy detailed it is. I'm not crazy about epic, Tolkienesque series (although I loved Tolkien, and I had a middle-school love affair with the Dragonlance Chronicles). I prefer a contemporary spin on my fantasy. 9/25/10 If you could make a scent that represents where you live (or have lived), what would be the ingredients? My family was Air Force, so this question encompasses a lot of places. Perhaps a will o' the wisp scent, that constantly morphs. Sometimes wonderful, sometimes even a nasty phase   Are you in need of Roller bottles or anything of the like? Very much looking for imp-size or even smaller roller bottles, for carrying & reapplication. Cobalt blue, or some other dark color. Any type or title in particular? Not for me, thank you though. Please don't destroy a book.   Did someone ask about incense yet? Would you like some? Something to store or burn it in? What scents? What form? Could use some cone incense for a few Halloween-style burners I have. Cinnamon, or fall/Halloween type scents preferably.   Any oddball free things you collect or would want saved for you? i caved

okay i admit it I caved, i couldn't deal with the caffineless of my existence any more. So i am back to almost full speed. I am going to try weening myself back instead of the abrupt stop this time.   I will be posting to the IGT thread about the girls fairy booklets. They are Frothing to get to them and i keep telling them they have to help me get a place cleaned off to do it.   I am almost 25 pages behind on the SW thread due to my weekend in the fog. I will slog through it today and hope to get to the minty catch uped ness by tonight, but it may be tomorrow.

Steak Sauce through 9/20

Do you read/like fantasy? What kind of books or authors do you love? Which one would you like to read? Would you like gifts related to it? I’m not into fantasy or science fiction Soaps : do you like them? What brands? What scents? Anything you're dying to try? I like soaps, but have found that bar soaps tend to be drying on my skin. I do adore all of most of Paintbox’s soaps and sorbettos, with the unfortunate exception of The Queen is Dead. I was so excited about this one and after trying it I kept wondering where the smell of burnt fried chicken was coming from. Unfortunately it was me. Normally honey and I tend to love each other, but not this time. I am anxious to try any of her fall LE’s, but I’ve been good and haven’t ordered any for myself. I’m not a huge Lush fan, and have quite a pile of it that I’m trying to use up. Otherwise I love the little sample sizes bars and slices. I’m more than happy to try any brands that you think I might love. Right now I’m loving my Snake Oil soap! Who likes hair toys, and if so what kind? I like hair toys! I have very thick hair that is shoulder length, and growing. 90% of the time I wear it pulled back or put up in some fashion. Does any art we may send need to be child safe, either in the actually safe sense or the non X rated sense? No children to worry about. I think I kind of answered this once, but just to make sure I’ll do it again. Wrist warmers, half gloves, fingerless gloves and such would not be of much use. I live where we have real winter and need to cover up. A neck warmer would be ok, though. I love slippers!! My favorite pair ever were a pair that I got at a church bazaar that were hand crocheted. As for hats, I love them in theory, and tend to buy lots of them. In reality, I never wear them because I have so much thick hair that they never fit exactly right and then my head gets sweaty and itchy. I usually wear a big scarf (almost the size of a small afghan)wrapped up around my head and neck then tucked into my coat. But if there are some that you think I’d enjoy, please point me that way. If I were to knit a scarf, would you prefer a skinny one, or a wide one? A short one, that when wrapped once around your neck will just tuck under your jacket, or a long one, at least to your waist? The bigger the better. Don't like scarves? Would a rectangular shawl or triangular shawl be more to your taste? Those are great too. How do you feel about recipes? Love Them!!! I have a substantial cookbook collection. (Like over 200) What kind of a cook/baker are you? When I have the time I’m all about the from scratch. Last Christmas I made over 80 dozen cookies/bars/candies to give away. Are you happiest calling for delivery or microwaving a lean cuisine, Or will Food Network be asking you to host their new program? I like good home cooking. Very rarely do the microwave thing. About once a month I make 8 or 10 different meals, then freeze them in individual portions so that I just have to throw one in the oven when I’m hungry. If I send you something home made would you like the reciepe for it? Please! If you are someone who doesn't want baked goods sent, would you like a collection of some of my favorite recipes? Yes Please! Would also love your tips and tricks if you have any. How about home made mixes or kits? Kind of like the cookie in a jar thing, where you would need to add the perishable ingredients? Those would be great. if you are a tea lover, what are your flavor preferences? Green? Black? Herbal (I know, technically those are NOT teas, but tisanes)? Flavored blacks/greens? No thank you on the teas.

9/19/10 Do you read/like fantasy? What kind of books or authors do you love? Which one would you like to read? Would you like gifts related to it? I'm not really much into fantasy at all, but I've been trying to read some Neil Gaiman and would like to read American Gods (actually started to listen to the book on CD... 19 CDs from the library, but didn't get through it before I had to return it to the library) since I live quite close to House on the Rock.   Soaps : do you like them? What brands? What scents? Anything you're dying to try? I LOVE soaps of all kinds! Lush and Villlainess soaps are great, and I have a decent stash now of them. I'd love to try others; I'm not even sure what all is out there!   9/18/10 Who likes hair toys, and if so what kind? I use hair scrunchies (ponytail holders). Bois 1920, Classic 1920

Notes: "Chinese citron, Haitian vetiver, Antilles sandalwood, amber".   Given the notes listed (and the price tag), I was expecting to be really impressed.....and I'm not. Don't get me wrong, this smells good. Nothing offensive about it. It's so smoothly blended that I can't pick out one single note, except maybe amber, but only because I know it's there. But this really didn't 'wow' me and I wouldn't go hunting down a big bottle. I would put it at the masculine end of the spectrum, clean smelling, but not hyper dude-fume. I wouldn't be surprised if there are women who enjoy this. I'll enjoy the rest of my sample!

What? It's a Jackson Polluck (which seriously, if it looks like a drop cloth, does not deserve to get tons of money).   Girl Scout cookies? You can send all the Samoas, Thin Mints, and Trefoils right here!   Apple butter? Oh yes. Berry butter sounds good too. No pumpkin butter, though.   Incense? No thanks.   Art? I have mostly naked walls. There is a framed print of a generic French seaside town in the dining room, and at the end of the hallway there is a colorful print of gerbera daisies which was originally meant to be hanging in my bedroom. Other than that.. empty. Count me on the list for Starry Nights, and Monet's Waterlilies.   Emily Autumn? Have d/led some of her tracks, but I don't think I've actually listened to them yet.
