Mine are all falling apart & getting lost, I'd love some more!     Favorite flowers and plants- – Lavender, snapdragons, violets, bluebells   children/spawn - What do they like or dislike? Also is there anything a (sane) adult might think they would like that you don't think is appropriate for whatever reason? – Wand noisy things can always be (temporarily) taken away or de-batteried SO If it says it's appropriate for 3 and up, then it should be fine.   a specific type/breed that you love most? Turtles gryphons, dragons, dragonflies, butterflies, raccoons, wolves, ocelots . ..   What is a bpal scent that you've been dying to try for awhile but just can't find? (A scent where even a tester would do) I really wouldn't want much less than 1/2 imp. I want to really be able to test it for a day, not just sniff it & then wish I could find it. Feel free to stick with GC stuff, I've got enough of them on my wishlist!   Music, DO you prefer Live or Studio? Edited or explicit? Any of the above, although if the lyrics are REALLY raunchy, I'd probably pass on the song altogether.   How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? Either classic/elegant or folksy or completely crazy humor or fantasy-type art.   Go to your spice cabinet, what are the three most used spices? Postcards (with neat pix or of different places) would be fun!   Would you like homemade preserves Yum! But no peppers, please!   For tea drinkers, do you prefer loose leaf or tea bags? both. When I have the time, I enjoy loose leaf as a special treat. The rest of the time, tea bags make my life easier!   If you would enjoy something of a knitted persuasion, do you have a preference on type of thing? I only have a couple of scarfs, so one more would still be fine, and I love shawls! Gloves, hats, mittens, socks all would be OK as well.

I just thought of something!

I was thinking about magazines and I'd LOVE to get Fiend magazine! It's an aussie goth magazine. But if there's any goth mags in your country, then I'd love to read them too!   What else random...Oh! I know! I'd love to learn how to make moulded resin jewellery, like big bangles. Love bangles and wrist cuffs.   Also another random though... I love apples and apple cider. Just sayin'

Here's ketchup from the SW thread, which moves way too fast for my feeble mind.   Do you hate any food things with a passion?? Liver, cauliflower and white chocolate. Please, no liver. I already have one. (har)   Would you be opposed to receiving a digital version (via email) of a magazine you like but don't subscribe to...you know, in the interest of saving a tree? I'm already getting Mother Jones via email (which is one of the mags I mentioned in the questionnaire) but wouldn't mind getting any of the others digitally.   How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? I love stationery and office supplies. I feel the same way about cool stationery that some women feel about cool shoes.   What kind of make-up do you wear? What colors? Is there anything you'd like to try but haven't yet? I'm pretty well set on makeup. My dry, ghostly pale skin is pretty sensitive (especially my face) so I get hypoallergenic stuff that won't cause it to go into a tizzy.   Do you crave many Ecards and contact or are you okay with little contact from your Witch? I love contact (and I LOVED your first email) but I don't expect you to plan your life around me.   Go to your spice cabinet, what are the three most used spices? It's been nearly three years since my last vacation, which was two weeks in India. We spent a few days in the Himalayan foothills (beautiful!), which I loved. How about sending them? what interests you from the latest lab update? I think I answered this already..   How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? And if you're in favor, do you prefer classic/contemporary or cutesy stuff? Yes please! And.. if it's in the vein of kawaii, then cutesy is fine. Otherwise, classic/contemporary.   Would you like homemade preserves (e.g. marinated vegies, pickled onions, chilli jam?) Beans (any type) would be fine, as well as tomatoes. Fruit jams/preserves will also be eaten.   If you've got stuff on your BPAL wishlist, would partial bottles be okay? Of course! I have yet to go through a full 5ml, plus some of the things I'm wishing for are pretty hard to find.   Would you like something you have to make yourself? Sure.   Say you were my witchee, and I found things on your wishlist that I could totally make. Would you want me to make it? Or would you rather it be purchased for you? It would warm the cockles of my heart if you made it.   Who is your favorite soap etailer? Paintbox Soapworks, but if we're including scrubs, Haus of Gloi is right up there too. Would like to start getting into Meow and more of Fyrinnae. In Clinique, my foundation type is linen, so I think I've got some yellow undertone to my pale whiteness. As for colors.. I look best in browns, pinks and some greens (although I haven't entirely figured out why some do and some don't). I'm also trying to figure out the shades of blue which work, as well. Please no yellows or orange. Blushwise, I tend to go for darker pinks or neutrals. For lips, I'd love to find a red which works on me. Darker pinks/mauves/purples work well. Let me introduce myself first, I am an office lady and studying part-time program at University, the follower of new trends, so I like browsing interesting website for getting the latest news and meet new friends for sharing.   Recently, my Dad bought me a new iPad as a gift, so surprised! So now, I like to find and install some iPad app in my new toy, have any suggestion?   When I visited iTunes Store, there are many iPad apps for Social Networking, Gaming, Sports, Reading or Business......etc. They are all in my iPad, are the family member of iPad. ^.^   In additional, there is a special app call Bella Girl – Beauty Assistant, a long long name but really very useful, because it is an all in one beauty and shopping tools on iPad and specifically for ladies. (specifically for lady is the main reason why I buy!)   There are 6 beauty and shopping tools included. I like BMI calculator that can find out where I stand in fitness compare to my peers, as good as is the Calorie Counter because I am on diet and want to count how much calorie I have gotten or consumed each day, it can show the line chart on the report for reference, Great!!   And other tool I like is the Event Calendar, because I can add my personal dates on the calendar (it provides the Privacy button that when I share Bella Girl with my friend, my period and ovulation date will be hidden.)   The remaining tools are Timer for control my face mask treatment time, nail drying time; Converter can help me know my size in international unit that is good for shopping reference.   The last but not the least, I feel interested that there is a Smart Compare, it is useful because when I buy the cosmetics in different volume, different price, Smart Compare can assist me to decide which one is the better choice.   Bella Girl is not the complex iPad app, but if we do not know what the button for, we can visit the user guide on Bella Girl website (although it is a long long name, but the user guide is showing by fews words with picture, it is very friendly!) Okay so reading the thread is always a chancy thing. There are ALWAYS things you see and go 'humm whats that.' So i was doign so when phantasmmystera brough up a nail polish i had never heard of. China Glaze. OH MY GODS *grabby hands*   Emerald Fitzgerald First Class Ticket Cowardly Lyin' Dorothy Who?   and the no chip top coat. Oh man. I have NO idea where these things come from or how much they would be, their site is LACKING these features, which is ALWAYS a bad sign.   BUt i had to share witch dear!

What kind of make-up do you wear? What colors? Is there anything you'd like to try but haven't yet? Eyemakeup: I have green eyes, so I wear green, purple, silver/grey and black mostly. I'd love to find a nice burgundy/wine colour that compliments green eyes. I have very pale skin, so my foundation colour is almost white. (Meow Cosmetics shade Inquisitive Abyssinian) And I LOVE Avon's Supershock mascara, but it's expensive to get here in Australia, so I've only tried the black one.   Do you crave many Ecards and contact or are you okay with little contact from your Witch? I don't mind, whatever my witch is planning is good. However, I love the 2 ecards I've received already...hehe   Do you have a place where you list all the BPAL you have or have tried? I did, but it's lost on the same hard drive as my wishlist. =(   Do you like maple sugar candy? Yes Do you hate any food things with a passion?? There are things I hated in the past that I now love. I used to hate olives and pickles and now as of the past year they're my new favorites. Same with mustard (though I still don't like "yellow mustard"). I've always hated licorice (though I love the smell) especially black licorice and Twizzlers. If something has a licorice-y flavor that's good, I just don't like licorice candy. I can't think of anything else that I hate. Liver, actually, even though I've tried really hard to like it, but I don't expect to receive that. Switch Witch Ketchup #2

Alrighty round 2... I'm sorry but it's not totally fleshed out. I'll prolly come back in a day or two to answer some of the questions better. Most of these are finished though.   9/13/10 what interests you from the latest lab update? Lilith's Tea Party, I have alot of decants coming to me from the Halloweenie's and until I try them out, I can't say what I'd actually like? I'll update this if I do find some wants in there though! How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? And if you're in favor, do you prefer classic/contemporary or cutesy stuff? I like them, I tend to like to go for the more classy things or retro pop.. bright colors appeal to me as long as they aren't clashy. Would you like homemade preserves (e.g. marinated vegies, pickled onions, chilli jam?) Would love them! If you've got stuff on your BPAL wishlist, would partial bottles be okay? Sure! Though I STILL NEED TO UPDATE MY WISHLIST!! I have to add a few more things so please don't despair that it looks really small right now. Would you like something you have to make yourself? Since the other entry was getting ridiculously long, I thought I'd answer the newer questions here.   So, starting with the questions from the 11th,   One Concert Gaelic Storm or Carrie Newcomer. Especially stones to use for wire-wrapping, as I have more yarn bits than I know what to do with right now.   BPTP update I haven't ordered any of it for myself. The Sagardoa soap looks interesting, but nothing else there is super appealing. I keep meaning to get the Snake Oil bath oil, but I haven't done so yet.   International Treats I will never turn down more Tim Tams, or the English digestive biscuits, but no, there's nothing I'm craving.   3 BPAL Bottles falling into my hands The Harp of C'Noc whatshisface, Womb Furie, Dee.   Marzipan Yummy, especially when coated in milk chocolate.   Flowers and plants Awesome in all forms.   Console Games Don't play any of them.   Vampires, shows, books A big nay for me. But carrot cake, with cream cheese icing, and white chocolate/milk chocolate coating does sound good.   Journals/Notebooks I already have a couple that I barely use. Sketchbooks would get handed over to my sister or brother, both of whom are more focused on traditional art mediums   Decorate for Holidays Not much, but a bit. My personal taste is more towards the elegant, with bits of silliness.   Sports Not my thing.   Foodie I like cooking and I like a lot of food/baked goods scents in candles and such.   Imperfect gifts I'd still love it. Imperfections give character, and a lot of time the flaw can become my favorite part of it. Heaven knows, a lot of times people have said that they loved the random quick fixes I added to something more than the original concept.   Homemade bath products Would love intensely.   Countries I'm interested in Wales, England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, India, Greece, Israel.   Listen to often No MP3 player, but the 5 star auto ratings on my computer suggest Carrie Newcomer, random Disney soundtracks, and Celtic music are highest.   Sending/receiving letters Would love this.   Last vacation Does picking up my little brother from college count? It's mostly been visiting family members, and we haven't done that much in recent years.   Microsoft or Apple Microsoft. I had a couple horrible experiences with Macs with college lab assignments and not being compatible with my own computer, so I'm rather prejudiced against Macs now.   Spices Savory: Garlic, Rosemary, Ginger Sweet: Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg.   Tea Cosy Not really, I tend to brew by the cup instead of the pot.   Chocolate and Bacon I've never really liked bacon to begin with.   Maple Sugar Candy Would love. My mother was born in Vermont and spent part of her childhood there, and she passed along the love of real maple sugar and syrup.   Listed all BPALs No, I don't have any place where they've all been listed, and I wouldn't know where to start listing them all, since I've passed so many along in swaps without reviewing if I didn't like them.   Contact I don't exactly crave contact, but I'd appreciate hearing from you regularly.   Top Five famous people I'd date Elijah Wood Ewan McGregor Christopher Judge John Cho Karl Urban   Make up I'm pretty sure I answered this elsewhere, but I'm pretty minimal in terms of makeup. I rarely wear it, though I should at least pick up a good foundation.   Timing of presents I have absolutely no preferences, this is at your disposal, witch of mine.   Vintage items Lack of storage space means I'll say no. I'm currently living in my parents home, and hoping to move out to a shared apartment. I'll be lucky to find space for all my books.   Favorite Soap etailer I haven't actually tried any soap etailer, though I'd love to try both Tarty's stuff and Villainess.   Making things on my wishlist I'd love that, if you can do it. That would just give it all the more meaning.   Some assembly required gifts I love learning crafts, or putting my own stamp on things, so yes, that sounds great.   Partial bottles As long as there's more than a drop or so in there, I'd love partials.   Homemade preserves Sounds interesting.   Stationary I'm not sure I'd get much use out of stationary paper. I'd love good pens.   Latest Lab updates Counting both the Dawn stuff and the Weenie, I'm interested in both Mother and Maiden from the Dawn series. From the Weenie, Lambswool, Boo, Flor de Muerte, and Pumpkin Latte   Chocolate, or other candy I love chocolate, milk chocolate by preference. I also love some of the more old-fashioned candies, like toffee, divinity (especially rosewater flavored), and marzipan. I've been spoiled by having a candymaker for a friend. In terms of modern, commercial candies, I love malt balls, Andes mints, and truffles of all sorts.   Tea, loose-leaf or bagged I drink both kinds, year round. There are times I like the convenience of a bag, and times I love the ritual of brewing loose leaves. In terms of flavors, I love Earl Grey and Lady Grey, and a lot of flavored black teas, like vanilla or blueberry. I love Adagio's Valentine's blend.   ...I also like the powdered chai tea blends. I haven't had much luck brewing chai from scratch, and I love a good chai. (Yes I know, good chai and the random powdered mixes seems a contradiction in terms.) I love a cheap approximation of chai, then.   Knitted items I never remember to make things for myself. I'd love a shawl, or socks, as I haven't taught myself how to do socks yet. Keep getting distracted by baby blankets for people.   Character I resemble Book-wise, Vicky Austin, from Madeline L'Engle's books, especially from around Ring of Endless Light or Troubling a Star. TV: possibly Beverly Crusher, from Star Trek TNG.   Kitchen things I have multiple relatives who tend to store things and then give them to people when they're moving out and establishing themselves, I'm probably set for most things.   Music I don't have a preference as to live or studio, as they're both doing separate things. And the music I'm listening to mostly doesn't have explicit lyrics to get censored, but I'd prefer it not being censored, as that's interfering with the artist's conception of the song. If it's explicit, I just won't listen to it around small children or people whom I know don't like that kind of language.   Animal lover breeds I'm all for generic cat love, especially since my family tends to adopt ours from the stray cat population. Both of ours currently are part Bengal, and I do admit that I love their graceful lines and friendliness.   Favorite quotes/lines I've linked my livejournal, correct? There's a side panel with many favored quotes. I'll think of several others I wanted to mention immediately after I hit post, you understand.   Oh, but special points go to this line, from The Little Prince: "Others may forget this, but you must not. You remain, forever, responsible for what you have tamed." The entire passage with the Fox is beautiful, but that line resonates deeply.   Hard-to-find BPAL I haven't been really looking hard for it, but I would like to try either Were-puppy or Cake Smash. I wouldn't want to try something that was vanishingly rare, because then I'd love it and not be able to find more.   Hypothetical Children I don't have any children, so you don't have to worry about that.   Interesting things on the net I am actively involved in fandom, and would love fanfic recs for different series/media that I'm involved in. I especially love women getting to be awesome, people being competent at their jobs, and fics where friendships are important.   Cat macros/interesting graphs on graphjam/pretty fanvids in shows that I like you can also consider always awesome.   If you want specifics on fandoms I like, scroll back through my lj and interests, or send me another e-mail.   Last Meal Start off with mushroom tarts and rolls with either a good cinnamon/honey butter or pate to spread on top. Lobster bisque with a spinach salad and herbed bread for the next course, followed by spinach gnocchi with nutmeg sauce and either orange-glazed beets or cranberry sauce as a side. Dessert would be either a fruit crisp or chocolate-filled croissants. Or both. Mulled cider or hot tea to go next to everything.   And then I'd die in a dairy-filled coma. I tend to eat those foods separately for a reason, as they're all so rich.

what interests you from the latest lab update? All of it! I have a few bottles and partials coming, but what I don't have, I'm interested in Boo and Blue Pumpkin Floss!   How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? And if you're in favor, do you prefer classic/contemporary or cutesy stuff? I love stationary and cute cards, I'm sending snail mail every week to encourage a friend, so this type of stuff is welcome! Classic or modern, no cutesy unless it's Suzy's Zoo.   If you've got stuff on your BPAL wishlist, would partial bottles be okay?Yes, of course!! I love partials! Now if I could just make a wishlist...I also love empty bottles! Would you like something you have to make yourself? Sure!   Say you were my witchee, and I found things on your wishlist that I could totally make. Would you want me to make it? Or would you rather it be purchased for you? Either one is fine with me   Would you like homemade preserves (e.g. marinated vegies, pickled onions, chilli jam?) Sure! Switch Witch 2010

Thursday 10-14-10 update:   10/13/10 Today I got one of the Starbucks Halloween Bearista Bears - it's dressed like a werewolf! Is this something witchees might like? I am not so into that- I have a million other things I collect!   Are you interested in Halloween costumes for your pet(s)? My pets might hate you- I think they could tolerate hats. And the pictures would be hilarious.     10/12/10 Would you want your witch to reveal herself? How? Witch, I cannot wait to meet you!   10/9/10 I came home with some Dungeon Crawl and some Bedbugs yesterday. If you were my witchee, would you want some of either/both? Those both sound exciting to me- esp. bedbugs:)   10/7/10 Did you forget anything fun/interesting or find something new and exciting? I am not sure ho wot answer this. I am working on search engine optimization- but that isn't ver exciting. I have discovered a love for paintbox soapworks- I got some for my witchy and kept a bar of pumpkin soap for myself- she is way talented. Oh! I know hwat I am excited about- the musical next year is My Fair Lady- so I need to get the movie and hte original broadway soundtrack with julie andrews and practice:)   10/5/10 Would you like to receive international magazines, even if you don't speak the language it's written in, just to ogle the pictures or for the novelty of it? If yes, what kind of magazines, or what magazines in particular? Wow- this sounds awesome. I love lush photographs of art or artsu fashion, crafts, and nature, and food- and pretty much anytihng- i rip up and save/collage magazine spreads all of the time.   would you have interest in any of the new Christmas stuff from Lush? I actually had to twist my own arm to stop it from making a huge order of that stuff. I especially lust after trying the maple lip balm, the gingerbread bubble bar, and the new hot toddy like shower gel. I miss being able to drive to lush- but it is good for my wallet!   Oh, witchee-poo... if there was one bottle you could have from the NYCC exclusives, what would it be? The White Lady, or Steeplechase Park spray.   If someone were to make you one of the items in this post which would it be? Oh my- those are all beautiful. Are the good as a fruit, a flavoring or just a scent? delicious as a whole fruit, great as a unseetened juice or liquor- I don't like it much as a flavoring as I feel it often doesn't taste authentically tart to me.   Haunt Update? I want everything, but it is all gone already!   9/30/10 Villainess has an update. Anyone wanting anything from it? Autumn gala looksk yummy- I love love love Mudslide anything.   how are all the witchees fixed for purses--lunchbags, etc? I really want a bento box! I am good on bags- my little sis just made me one for my bday and it is awesome!   Now, I have a question for you. About notes. Which are your favourite ones? Do you have a kind of "note top ten?" Anything that works particularly well on you? Do you have a perfume category (foody, floral, aquatic, musky) that you favour? And are there any notes you have never tried, but think would work well on you? I shall try a top ten:   1 honey/beeswax 2 caramel 3 dark cocoa 4 fig 5 apple 6 pumpkin 7 coconut- the lab's dry note is great- not tropicana at all 8 vanilla (creamy) 9 rose 10 violet   But for most of those notes- I like a layer of complex resins or woods/patchouli or somehting peppery to hold down the sweetness- so I feel like I did a bad job of listing stuff. Benzion is always good on me.   I also like to try strange notes- (such as tomato, different herbs, baking bread...) considered savory that arent used as often in conventional perfumes.   Would you like a sugar skull decorated by your witch? Or do you like sugar skull stuff in general? I love Day of the Dead stuff- I am entering two paintings for a show this year if I can get my other stuff done!   9/29/10 Is there one scent that is your goto for comfort on a bad stressful day? Buffalo smells like huge mounds of snow, tart apples, dry leaves, hedges of lavender, crisp gin, and farm share honey. Ok, now i want that smell!   Are you in need of Roller bottles or anything of the like? I am a foody/chef type. This weekend, I made salsa verde and canned it, and made tilapia in parchment with veggies and lime slices. I mostly get art supplies from the dollar or thrift store- boxes and glassware I can sculpt on with polymer clay or paint.   Is there a specific book you've been wanting to get but haven't found the time or the opportunity to? My amazon list is pretty enormous:) Hmmmm... I do want the new art book : Botany for Artists, and Stephen King's DIferent Seasons anthology.   Do you read mangas/watch animes? Which ones? I love ginger but like gingerbread ginger- so I want to see how Ginger Skulls plays out.   9/14/10 Chocolate or other types of candy?, Chocolate with lemon, with salt, with herbs and all sorts of wierd stuff- and that perrenial favorite, with caramel. I also like caramel and maple in general, and sour candy/gummies. I like way too much candy, honestly. I try to keep it to one piece a day and then fruit.   For tea drinkers, do you prefer loose leaf or tea bags? I use both very frequently, so either is fine. The only tea apparatus I don't have is the blooming teapot. Everything else I am ready for.   If you would enjoy something of a knitted persuasion, do you have a preference on type of thing? Since making a scarf for someone who has 10 might be a smidge excessive? Also, how do people feel about shawls? I have scarves but I live in Buffalo, so I could always use more. I identify with the strange, yearning creativity and wierdness of Clive Barker's fantasy characters. I lose myself in book s alot but I am not sure I have ever seen myself in a book, per say. I just read the hunger games trilogy, and Kattniss Everdeen is kick ass, self-sufficient, compassionate and able to admit her own mistakes, so I would like to emulate her.   Is there anything you need for your kitchen, ie measuring cups, spoons, grater, ect? My cookie sheets are horrible. I am pretty stocked in my kitchen in general.   Music, DO you prefer Live or Studio? Edited or explicit? Hmmm... ususally studio but live can be increidlbe with the right artist. I am not a fan of editing lyrics.   If you are an animal lover, is there a specific type/breed that you love most? I love my cats to bits- they are rescues with a bit of Maine Coon in them. My dear Severus, RIP, was a Maine Coon and I miss him too much to say.   Also flowers and plants- If you like flowers/plants, do you have a favorite(s)? I love herbs and useful plants- Especially lavender and grape vines, apple trees and hazel trees as well. Hazel is my birth tree, and willow is my husband's, so I have a special love for those two. I would love to have some Calling Cards to write on, as the lost art of the hand-written note is something I am terribly neglectful of. As for the design, I'm flexible! I also love to write with felt-tip pens, and getting those in fun colors are always nice.   If you've got stuff on your BPAL wishlist, would partial bottles be okay? Are you kidding? ABSOLUTELY!   Say you were my witchee, and I found things on your wishlist that I could totally make. Would you want me to make it? Or would you rather it be purchased for you? Last year, at work, we had an office-decorating contest for Halloween. My office windows were smeared in stage blood, there was an outline of a body in the floor, and crime scene tape on the walls. So yeah, I'd say I totally go for elegance when I'm decorating.   Homemade bath products YES PLZ!   Are you a foodie? Absolutely. I love to cook and to play with new flavors in the kitchen (though ATM just thinking about food makes me a little nauseated -- thanks, oxycodone. It has to be "good" vampire stuff, though what that means is highly subjective and difficult to define. I can tell you I enjoy True Blood, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, 30 Days of Night, and the Blade movies (okay, the first 2).   Soundtracks you'd like? I was actually thinking about how I'd like the True Blood soundtrack, or songs featured in the show.   If you could see one concert right now, who would it be?Lady Gaga.     I am not ashamed.   If you witch made you something and it didn't come out just right, would you still want it? Totally! I know how freakishly perfectionistic I am, but if you put a lot of time and effort into something and were worried that it wasn't "quite" perfect, please don't be. I would love to receive baked goods if my witch is so inclined but if witch does not like baking do not worry about it. I'm not picky, I don't think there's anything witch could bake that I wouldn't like. Also I should mention my partner's birthday is October 16th, so if witch wants to send a little something for him that would be cool. No pressure either way because I'll be getting him something for his birthday anyways, and he's not expecting anything for himself from SW.
