Old-fashioned basket or something more utilitarian (cooler/insulated bag)? Friday July 5/13   Anything from Villainess that strikes your fancy, either from their update or from the GC? Wack & Nilotica sound good. I generally prefer paintbox, but I'd enjoy trying some smack, smooch, or whipped   Thursday July 4/13   If you get a long weekend this weekend... what are you doing with it? Staying in? Going out? Family? Friends? If you don't get a long weekend, are you OK with that, or a little sad? (If you are Canadian, apply this to last weekend).   we have plans to sleep ( we went to friends' house yesterday) and to baby-proof the house. And I need to finishing writing the last worship service for July and start sewing some July b-day gifts and knit some goodness for my witchee. Maybe hubs can care for the kids for a while.   Would you be interested in getting a kombucha starter and instructions on how to use it to easily make your own fermented, probiotic tea drink? That sounds interesting   Wednesday July 3/13   Anything interesting from the new Paintbox Soapworks update for you? ALL OF IT!!! Seriously, though - Candy Floss looks good, and Avast is always great. Nekisse, Clean Slate, Mandinka, Whiskers & the Natural also sound good. I'd love to try a Bath Streusel, and I always love sorbettos and any kind of moisturizer/cream.   What about recycled sari silk yarn, witches and witchees? Not really. I mean, I like a pretty cross (or sometimes a semi-realistic crucifix) and obviously that has meaning to me, but I'm not sure that's quite the same thing.   When you are having a really rough day, what do you like to do/have to make it a little brighter? Some combination of eat chocolate,knit, read, watch paranormal TV, take a long soak in the bath and/or mead or wine or hard cider.   Would you like if your witch sent a regional pop/soda? If so, what type (Root beer, creme soda, cola, citrus-flavored, chocolate-flavored, etc...)? not a cola. I do like the occasional root beer or cream soda & I love chocolate, although I've never tried a chocolate soda.   Ninjas or Pirates? Werewolves or vampires? Zombie or Cthulhu? NO ZOMBIES! and I don't really get into Cthulhu very much. The others, it kind of depends on the "version" although I'd say that I probably prefer werewolves to the others.   Do you want to receive one big package or a bunch of small ones? I've always wanted to try RPG but never had the right group of people around when I actually had time to do it. Summer Switch Witch 2013 Questions

Sunday June 23/13   Is there a Quote that resonates with you, or that you particularly like a lot. Would this be something you would like artwork made of for your walls or a shirt/bag/scarf?   There are a couple "I settled for less and it's more than enough" from a Fair to Midland song, and "eyes that speak whispering words and more" from a Sculptured song.   I'd probably like wall art or a bag or something for either. I don't know about a shirt or scarf, but if my witch is feeling creative I'd love to see whatever s/he comes up with.   Also, STARBUCKS, Yay or Nay? Anything you particularly like?   Yay. I go there sometimes for beverages on work breaks or on the way if I'm too lazy to fire up my espresso machine. I LOVE the city mugs from other cities, though I have the Seattle ones along with a few others (Portland OR and San Diego come to mind).   Is there someone on the forums (within SW or not) who knows you really well and might be able to help with stalking?   There are a few people from the forums who know me (many of the Seattle folks) but TwilightEyes probably knows me best.   If you happen to find out who yours is, how much would it bother you?   It wouldn't bother me at all. If my witch wants to reveal on day one I'd be perfectly happy to go on chatting and witching without hiding identities. In the past all my witches have revealed at the end of the round, though I did guess one beforehand - I wasn't totally sure until she revealed.   Do you use waxmelts or tarts? I'd be fine without perfume oil, since I have a lot more than I use regularly, but I'm open to trying new things too so I'm fine either way. I guess the only thing I could really do without is knick-knack cluttery stuff. I am trying to keep my home less cluttered. If so, what type (rucksack, clutch, shopping bag) colour and would you like/need a new one?   Yep! I mostly carry messenger bags, but I have quite a few. Plastic shopping bags are outlawed where I live, so I can always use reuseable ones as long as they're small enough to stash in my (admittedly large) purse. And I also knit so project bags - drawstring or zipper but please no velcro! - are great for that.   What's your favourite comfort food(snack or candy etc) and/or drink?   I LOVE 3:15pm Coffee Milk Tea. No, you may not have heard of it, but it's my favorite comfort beverage. Other than being a vegetarian (no meat or fish, but milk & honey & some eggs ok) I don't like sun dried tomatoes, lima beans, or bok choy much. Also, I don't like the taste of eggs, so a recipe with egg as a binder is fine (like cookies or cake or something) but anything that tastes eggy (like a quiche or flan etc.) is not preferred.   I would LOVE a picture or painting, I collect wall art from various people I know IRL or online. And I already design my own knitting patterns, but if my witch is so inclined that would be lovely. And a story or poem or song would be nice too. I've never smoked a cigarette or drank underage or done any illegal drug. I don't even drink now that I'm of age. I am very law-abiding. I like to keep my private life private. On the other hand, I listen to melodic death metal & doom metal, have tattoos, and dress in band shirts and jeans pretty much every day.   I'm a vegetarian. I knit - but not like the occasional scarf, I've knit over 200 pairs of socks and have published designs. I'm also a scientist, and people like to tell me how smart I am. (I guess it is probably true.) Oh, and I sang in a commercial as a child and am currently in an all-female choir that sings songs by Metallica, Muse, Guns 'N Roses, Heart etc. I don't wear makeup, and I don't dress in a very feminine way. A lot of people read me as gay, but I'm not. I have a driver's license, but I don't drive and haven't ever owned a car aside from an old beater I had for 2 weeks before it broke down, but that was when I didn't have a license yet. Do you have any problems with swearing or particularly off-color humor? My personality is made up of these things. Sometimes I think that I go too far. I have to check myself sometimes because I'm pretty sure that if somebody didn't know me, they would consider me offensive. To those who know me, they know that I am very kind and seek justice in this world, and my personality is made up of 1 liners and hyperbole.   What would you like from the most recent BPAL update? What are you planning on buying for yourself and what would you like to try? I think that I am safe from this update, nothing stands out as something that I need or must have. I am however stalking the Trading Post for some new atmosphere sprays. I really want a bottle of House Of Unquenchable Fire. I'm trying to sit on my hands, but I dunno if I can make it.     Opinions on table top games, from cards and board games, to dice and rpgs. What do you like? I've never really played any table top RPG games. I did play D&D once at a friends house when I was a teenager, and I would watch a couple of my other friends play Magic The Gathering, but I never seemed to want to join in. I did RPG online back in the beginning of the internets days. Good ol' AOL 3.5. I played for YEARS! I was a part of this RPG called Kingdom of Cavalyn. It was pretty rad. The great thing about chat rooms is that you could actually throw dice. The chat room would calculate a specific number based on how many sides your dice had. The queen would grant you your dice number as you grew within the ranks and everybody could see who was who based on their profile. I really miss playing that game.   What style is your sense of humour? I'm kind of like a Zooey Deschanel, but not too much of a manic pixie. I have this old telephone stand in my room. It doesn't fit in at all, and it's hidden in a corner (since there's absolutely no place to put it - plus it's been banged up to all shit). The thing is that it belonged to my dad. I don't have much of anything that once belonged to my father. He passed away 29 years ago when he was 29. When he died, his selfish family took everything, and left us nothing. So I have this old telephone stand that I keep around. It's neat. I get to see it every day and it reminds me that there was once this man in the world that I shared my genes with. I was just a little baby when he passed away, so I don't remember him at all.

Do you read literature/culture blogs or websites of any kind? I'm thinking about anything that would help a putative witch to get a sense of what your current tastes in books, movies, games, genres, approaches to culture and literature and so forth are Not often. I'm occasionally active on the /v/, /tv/, and /g/ boards of 4chan, but it's not for anyone easily offended if you want to check there. I am pretty active on Pinterest and sometimes on etsy.   How do you feel about traditional picnics (namely the intimate table for two variety)? Old-fashioned basket or something more utilitarian (cooler/insulated bag)? BF and I haven't been on any, but I'd really enjoy it. Both the old-fashioned basket and more modern versions (cooler, bento boxes, etc).   If you were put in a room with 100 random other people the same age and sex as you, from your country, in what way do you think you would be different from the average? I listen to mostly metal and I'm not very skinny. I would rather learn a new language than a lot of other things.   Haus of Gloi did a Reverie update! Do any of them interest you? (Or anything else up currently?) I've never checked it out. I'll have to take a look and let you know.   Witchee, do you cook? Do you do all the cooking? Is it a chore or a pleasure? I'm thinking about anything that would help a putative witch to get a sense of what your current tastes in books, movies, games, genres, approaches to culture and literature and so forth are. Not really. I tend to bounce around different sites/blogs every few months. Day of the Woman is one I tend to check up on though, even if I’m not really into horror movies…idk…   How do you feel about traditional picnics (namely the intimate table for two variety)? Old-fashioned basket or something more utilitarian (cooler/insulated bag)? Meh. The idea is always wonderful, but the reality of allergies and making the basket up is not. However, individual bento box style thing? That might get used.   If you were put in a room with 100 random other people the same age and sex as you, from your country, in what way do you think you would be different from the average? More introverted, much more upset by confrontations. My interests seem to be a slightly wider net than average too (which is why, ugh! Questions are HARD). Less fussy about my hair, though it’s probably longer than the average. While I sometimes enjoy it, with everyone in my family liking different things (including a vegetarian some of the time), planning what to cook and shop for becomes a chore. Though I will say, I really want to make gumbo again soon!   Which reading level do you prefer to read in YA or Adult? Or even both? Both. Both are good! Kitchen needs major updating, but there’s been a movement to contemporary with dark woods, browns, and greens overall in that area. Questionnaire:   Which show(s)/movie(s) you would like as the theme for your package? I have lots of fandoms so I’ll try to pick a top 5. Doctor Who, Firefly, Mass Effect, Harry Potter, and Castle...ok I lied I can’t do 5, but 6 is more doable so I’ll add Once Upon a Time. They are ranked...kind of. I can’t even do 6 because I FORGOT Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog!!!! I can’t believe I did that. I love ALL THE THINGS, and collect things from different fandoms, so no pressure from a specific fandom.   1. I would say name a mixture of five favorite fandoms (movies/television shows) that you would like. The package can be a mixture of different fandoms. Rank in priority of what fandom you’d like the most though. 2. Favorite characters? This is sooo difficult. I’ll do one or two from each fandom, River Song, Donna Noble, Inara Serra, Zoe Washburn, Malcom Reynolds (see can’t even keep it to 2 per fandom), my paragon femShep (Red hair in a bun, pale skin, young), Garrus Vakarian, Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood, Richard Castle, Kate Beckett, Rumplestiltskin, Regina, Dr. Horrible, Penny and Captain Hammer. 3. Least favorite characters? I don’t know if I really have least favourite characters...I suppose Mickey from New Who annoyed me at first, Ron Weasley gets annoying sometimes but really I don’t hate anyone in my fandoms, unless it is a love to hate character (like Regina or Captain Hammer) 4. Favorite scent notes? Vanilla, leather, musks, resins, tobacco, lavender, lemon, tea, coconut, patchouli, caramel in Red Lantern. 5. Least favorite scent notes? Jasmine, Honey, whatever note that smells awful on me in Tamora (it might be the peach but that scent is awful on me) and heady florals. 6. Favorite snack item? That’s really hard to say...either popcorn or anything with peanut butter. (Chocolate may melt in the mail during summer months, so that might not be the best thing to send) 7. Least favorite snack item? Not sure, I don’t really hate any snack food. 8. Any allergies? Pineapple and Blue Cheese – odd combination I know, but not good. 9. Favorite flavors? Peanut Butter!!!!!! Caramel, chocolate, garlic, salt (in general). But really my favourite flavours are things that strike a contrast in combination like Chicago popcorn (salty and sweet) or something sweet and spicy. 10. Hated flavors? Black Liquorice, Chocolate and mint together, durian, flower flavoured things. 11. Favorite colors? Blues, purples, greens, jewel tones mostly, but I do love a good orange as well. I pretty much like ALL THE COLOURS! 12. Least favorite colors? I suppose the one thing is pastels – I’m too pale for that. 13. Jewelry preferences? Necklaces (at least 18” but usually 20”or longer), rings – I love rings, I’m usually a size 5.5 -7 (depending on the finger and the weather) 14. Wearable item preferences – I love jewellery, socks, and nerdy accessories. Although I waiting (very impatiently I might add) for Harry Potter leggings from Black Milk so don’t mind bigger pieces. I love knitted things in general and sweaters...really if it’s nerdy I’ll probably wear it  15. T-Shirt size – err...Medium? Bust – 37.5, Waist 32, hips 44. Usually the biggest problem I have with t-shirts is that they can be too tight in the hips if they fit properly in the rest of the torso, but I wear t-shirts to bed all the time, and that’s what happens with any shirt I don’t wear out so no worries about fit  16. Wildcard ideas? I may have said this in my SW questionnaire so feel free to ignore but I really want knitted knee high TARDIS socks for my rainboots, no worries about doing this, but that might be the ideal piece.     Anything else you want your swapper to know? I already have a Jayne Cobb hat (mom made it for last Christmas) and I got the coolest Legend of Zelda Armwarmers and bag from the Hearts Gift Swap. I'd have the ability to be invisible (not to do bad things, but to avoid people) and to teleport so I could get where I need to go quickly.   What are your hobbies? I run, read and like to sew, but I don't have any huge hobbies, unless you count being on the internet and working a lot.   Any craft supplies you need or want? Nothing that is necessary, but I wouldn't turn away nerdy fabric.   Please tell expand why you love your favorite character(s) - (please be prepared for a novel below) River Song - I love that she's so fiesty and sexy. She just demands attention in any room. She's someone who is confident in herself and that's something I aspire to be. It doesn't help that there is some spectactular word play/innuendo that makes me smile everytime. Plus her hair!!! Seriously if I could get my hair to curl and look that gorgeous I would anytime.   Donna Noble - For someone with such low self esteem and a mother that reminds me of my own sometimes she is a fantastic person. I love that she cares about all the people (and aliens) that she meets and truly gets the Doctor to see some light and helps him to make the right decisions. She was the most important person in the world and for her it wasn't about being powerful, but helping fix wrongs. She reminds me a little of me, except her brash and yelling nature makes me smile especially with her non-romantic relationship with the Doctor. Donna/Doctor might be my BROTP.   Inara Serra - She's regal, calm, beautiful and can kick some serious ass as well. I love that as a companion she doesn't take shit from anyone (except Mal, but we all know there was something there that would have been developed in further seasons). Her intelligence and level headed nature balanced the group and truly helped make them a family.   Zoe Washburn - Zoe has to be one of my favourite female characters because she is super strong and has many stereotypical masculine traits, but doesn't sacrifice any femininity because she genuinely seems to enjoy having feminine moments. Her relationship with Wash was perfect and it was nice to see an established relationship on television that wasn't truly challenged from outsiders.   Malcom Reynolds - The perfect chaotic good. He presents as this tough guy who only cares about himself, but he truly cares for his family on the ship and in ultimately doing the right thing. Also some of his lines were fantastic (I swear by this pretty floral bonnet I will end you) and I might have the biggest crush on Nathan Fillion so that doesn't help my love of Mal.   Rebecca Shepard (Mass Effect) - I'll be completely honest, my Shepard is modelled after me and the decisions that I would make. My Shepard is young, pale, blue-eyed, refusing to opt for a short cut her long copper hair is usually in a bun and has a touch of freckles. Even though she is a soldier (I play as an adept mostly or a vanguard) she always tries to avoid bloodshed. She can kick some serious ass and like Zoe presents some masculine qualities, but underneath it all is rather feminine. She's the kind of woman to wear beautiful undergarments underneath her armour so that she still feels pretty.She likes to be complimented and truly loved Kaidan. She flirted her way through Mass Effect 2 with Jacob, Thane and Garrus (well with everyone actually) but was still waiting for Kaidan to come back. Then he broke her heart. Even though he eventually 'apologized' the damage was done. Kaidan was the first person she trusted and let get behind her armour to see the real, less confident and slightly fragile Shepard. He broke that trust by not even listening to her and not trusting her enough even though she completely trusted him. It really seems that he didn't like not being the traditional male in their relationship and needed an excuse to leave. After Kaidan the strong friendship and flirting between Shepard and Garrus escalated. Shepard realized that what she has with Garrus is what love truly should be. They always had each others' backs and would always be there when the other needed it. When Kaidan came back and tried to win Shepard back there was no chance that she would ever do so. They eventually mended their friendship, but Shepard stuck with Garrus. Post destroy ending (I pick destroy nearly every time as it's the only one that makes sense with the story, but that's another story) when they find a dying Shepard, Garrus stays at her bedside until she leaves the hospital. I need to believe that's true because I actually cried at their interaction at the end of ME3 because it was so caring but so sad to see such a strong relationship going into a situation where they were sure they weren't going to make it out alive. They loved each other so much, but knew that they needed to save the galaxy even if they couldn't be together.   Garrus Vakarian - See above for relationship with Shepard. But Garrus is sarcastic and witty which endears him to me. His dialogue is always enjoyable and the amount that he cares for Shepard is heartening. Also seeing him grow from the first game to the end of the 3rd he goes from CSec and hating the rules forced upon him and doing things his own way (even if it isn't the morally right choice) to at least thinking about his actions and the repercussions that might come about.   Hermione Granger - I answered this one in my switch witch questionnaire. I love Hermione because I identify with her.   Luna Lovegood - She's an oddball who doesn't quite fit in and I often feel this way, even though I'm not quite as eccentric as Luna. She's a great friend who is always there to support others and genuinely is just a fantastic person.   Richard Castle - A little over confident and thinks hes the most handsome in a room, many could find Castle annoying and stuck on himself, which he kind of is, but underneath it all is a great person. He's smart, imaginative , and always willing to help others. He's a bit of a child most of the time, but that's part of his charm. He's the kind of guy that I hope I can find as he is fiercely loyal and a total nerd at the same time.   Kate Beckett - She sticks with my theme of kick ass female characters with femininity. She's also very funny and quick witted and with Castle they create a perfect balance.   Rumplestiltskin - The man is deliciously evil, but we get to see him try to be a good person. I love seeing the character development, plus Carlyle is fantastic. He's an evil character that I love to hate sometimes, but truly love to see him try to change.   Regina - Another evil character. I keep wanting her to stick with her resolve to do better for Henry and be a good person, but she does evil so well that selfishly I don't want her to succeed. Plus those outfits and hair in Storyland are fantastic.   Dr. Horrible - He's adorable and not all that evil. He just wants social change and to get the girl. Even his evil plans aren't that evil. I just love him! Plus NPH singing, what more do I need?   Penny - Love Felicia Day to begin with and Penny is just so sweet. I don't know what I'd say to any of my fictional characters, except to ask River how she gets her hair to look so amazing.   How do you feel about mashups/crossovers? I'm fine with them.   Please describe your style: living space(ie do you have wall space, do you prefer blank walls, does a given accessory need to coordinate with a given color scheme) and wearable. Cluttered and very little room left because there are books everywhere. Plus I don't have control over much of the living space because I'm at home. Wearable wise I'm not very consistent. I love leggings and longer tops with cardigans. I love skirts and dresses. I guess the best way to describe my style would be comfortable and quite feminine, but with a little bit of an edge (very little). I will note that my style is a little bit all over the place lately in particular because I've lost some of the weight that I gained with a knee injury so things that used to be tight are now a little oversized. I like to create balance in my wardrobe as well - ie. I'll wear leggings, but my top won't be fitted or I'll wear a bodysuit with a circle skirt. I wear a lot of black and neutrals, but keep getting myself to branch out to colours as well (like the pair of peacock leggings I'm buying because I've lost 20 lbs)   Hey all you geeky-types! Y'all do know about Shiro Cosmetics doncha? I know, but haven't managed to get anything...They are so pretty, especially the lip tubes.   Are you OK with t-shirts (I think that was asked, but I'm a little swap-overwhelmed at the moment )? If so, and you're of the female persuasion, would you prefer t-shirts "cut" for women or are men's t-shirts okay? I'm good with either. I mentioned stats earlier/in the blog post. I'm also fine with oversized shirts especially to pair with leggings.   Makeup colours? I tend to stick with neutrals and cool colours with the exception of bronzes (which look nice on my eyes). I like practical yet deoractive things (like my TARDIS mug which is currently waiting for the TARDIS tea I have on my way to me) but if I had to make a choice practical, because I have such limited room.   Do you cosplay? Switch Witch Summer 2013 help - PART TWO!

Part Two of the SW Summer 2013 questions! Wishlist links are at the beginning of Part One   I know that SW isn't about what you get... but could you name one thing you would be heartbroken not to get and one thing you would be a-ok if it didn't make it in your box? Thursday June 20/13   Do you read literature/culture blogs or websites of any kind? I'm thinking about anything that would help a putative witch to get a sense of what your current tastes in books, movies, games, genres, approaches to culture and literature and so forth are Yes ! I love Mcsweenys, Vice, The Daily Beast, The New Yorker, New York Mag. I love alllll the fashion blogs, particularly Sea of Shoes, NYC Dauphine, Blood and Champagne, BLEACH BLACK., Nylon. I LOOOVE beauty blogs (think, Beauty is Boring, XOvain, And allll them). For books - I love to read Fantasy and Science FIction. I loved A song of Ice and Fire, I love all Neil Gaiman. My Favorite author of all time Is Milan Kundera. I am obsessed. My other real ove is Russian literature - especially Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, and Nabokov. And for all times, I love French 20th century philosophers, Camus, Sartre, Simone de Beauvior, Derrida. I guess mention the German as well. Nietzche and Heidegger's phenomenology.   Movies I love love everything. I love Casablanca, The Great Escape, BREAKFAST AT TIFFANYS, (anything Audrey really - like Sabrina!! I die.) And ANYTHING Hitchcock. Gregory Peck or Cary Grant. Steve McQueen. I love 80s and 90s action movies, Blade Runner, Star Wars, Back to the Future, Terminator, Jurassic Park, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard. I tend to have a hard time connecting with women - I am sure its because I never learned from my own mother how to communicate with women but I do love them all. I tend to be shy around girls. Most of my friends are guys, I"ve lived with the same 4-5 guys all through college and in the few years afterwards. I will be awkward. Do you read literature/culture blogs or websites of any kind? I'm thinking about anything that would help a putative witch to get a sense of what your current tastes in books, movies, games, genres, approaches to culture and literature and so forth are. Not so much anymore. This spring I started to feel uncomfortable with how much time I spent on the internet (and also how ranty/ragey much of what I read made me), so I've drastically cut down on the number of blogs I read.   How do you feel about traditional picnics (namely the intimate table for two variety)? Old-fashioned basket or something more utilitarian (cooler/insulated bag)? Not great, lol. The closest I come to picnicking is eating on patios!   If you were put in a room with 100 random other people the same age and sex as you, from your country, in what way do you think you would be different from the average? I think what would set me apart the most is my resiliency. My entire sixteenth year was spent in a wheelchair, housebound, and incredible pain while I taught myself all my school courses. I was so sick that my mother had to take care of me like I was an infant again: she fed me, bathed me, and was with me nearly every hour of the day. I was finally diagnosed with a very rare autoimmune disease when I was 17 and was eventually able to lead a normal life, but I still struggle with pain each day. I managed to graduate on time with a 4.0 GPA and went to college. Then in my junior year of college, I suffered a severe traumatic brain injury that left me without a large chunk of my memory (I was unable to recognize my family members). I had to leave school and had to relearn everything: how to read, how to tie my shoes, how to drive, everything. I recovered fully thankfully. This got waaaay too long, but I know that these experiences have made me much more resilient than I would have been. There is nothing that life can throw at me that will knock me down for long, and this is something that I don't see very often in my peers.   Haus of Gloi did a Reverie update! Do any of them interest you? (Or anything else up currently?) Not House of Gloi, but I'm falling in love with Conjure Oils.   Witchee, do you cook? Do you do all the cooking? Is it a chore or a pleasure? I do cook, but my mother (who I live with for now) is such a master cook and a slight control freak about her kitchen that she hustles me out of the kitchen if I try. I find cooking for just myself to be a chore (when I lived alone I would wind up eating the same three meals), but I adore cooking for other people.   Which reading level do you prefer to read in YA or Adult? Or even both? I'm not sure what this is asking? I read pretty much anything, but I've been finding lately that most YA makes my eyes roll.

I'd be quieter and wanting to gtfo out of there as soon as possible, tbh. I'm not much of a crowd person. I'm super friendly and can strike up conversations with anyone and be social, I just don't enjoy it. I think I'd stand out a bit because of the way I dress and accessorize, and if I opened my mouth, my interests are somewhat different than most. I'm pretty far behind on a lot of pop culture since I listen to mostly death/doom/black metal, which is almost all European. Here's a good example: I just came back from New Orleans and people asked me what I did. I went to about a dozen cemeteries, went walking in the garden district, visited Anne Rice's former house to squeal and giddily watched thunderstorms from the porch.   Haus of Gloi did a Reverie update! How do you feel about traditional picnics (namely the intimate table for two variety)? Old-fashioned basket or something more utilitarian (cooler/insulated bag)? Love picnics. One time, I went on a picnic at Los Alisos park in San Luis Obispo and we were hiking forever trying to find a place to stop and eat. Finally we decided to pop a squat on a bridge and proceeded to eat delicious gourmet sammiches and drink champagne straight from the bottle because we forgot to buy glasses. After we finished, we walked another 100 yards or so, saw some really fresh bear/mountain lion poop (unsure which - could've been hooman for all I know) and we decided to hightail it out of there. That shit was fresh and steaming. Aint nobody got time for that!   If you were put in a room with 100 random other people the same age and sex as you, from your country, in what way do you think you would be different from the average? As somebody else has said, I am childless and in my 30's which is rare. I also don't find pleasure in most things that other women seem to enjoy? I can't put my finger on it really, it's just plain obvious when you see me with other ladies. I am definitely different. It's not that hard to be different in Orange County though, especially when you head into Central and South Orange County. It's Stepford country! You can't stop there! The women wear the same clothes and drive the same car. It's enough to give a person the heebs.   What would you like from Japan: I'd love a Japanese fan! Or KitKats. I see those KitKats and I wants them too!   Nail Polish: OBSESSIVE! I Love nail polish, especially sparkly kind. I have SO many red polishes, but am still on the hunt for the perfect bright red that is not neon. I also am on the hunt for "Ruby Slippers" by Opi *hint hint - nudge nudge*   Soap: I don't use bar soaps =( sowwy.   Sample size things: I sometimes use samples, but rarely. They're like imps and encourage hoarding. I use it once and stash it away and before I know it, the samples have made little sample babies that puke all over my sample holder bag and then they try to escape and it's a mess, oh the mess. I step on one and it's guts get all over and I break down and cry and ask the sample gods WHY??? WHY?? It had to go before it's full sized brethren could incorporate it into itself like some crazed alien species that eats it's own but has multiple personalities from all of the samples that it's eaten. It's SICK and I will not tolerate this in my bathroom!!!   Vidya Games: no, I do have a Wii, but only play Mario games Nighttime routine: get drunk and watch Shows. It's a classy drunk though (wine).   Favorite shade of blue: sapphire blue   Kitchen gizmos: I have one of them new fangled toaster ovens. Boy can it toast!
