Now about these things we promised not to write..

Nothing sexually orientated, profane (what does that mean? I think it's an Americanism for swearing but it sounds a bit medieval; I'm afraid I'm not planning religious stuff - much) - and various other things. Which all sounded a bit un-BPAL, though I guess I do really know what the mod's are getting at. I had no intention of writing anything like that until I was told not to   Anyway, I'm chuffed to bits that I've figured out how to write a more free-form thing here, away from the forums. Not that they aren't great, but I do have a tendency to rattle on.... And I am prepared for the fact that nobody reads these things. Doesn't bother me in the slightest, solipsistic wench that I am.   Right, now to what I really wanted to write, which is just a quick note about the Halloween oils. I hate the word Weenies. Meh. So... thoughts.   I love the sound of the idea and the notes of Samhain, but I'll wait to see some reviews on how the balance of this year's version works out. I'm not keen on apple in things - though I love the smell for real, and in a kitchen, but when I've detected it in oils it's always put me off for some reason.   Bonfire, has just got my name on it. I adore fire and autumn and bonfires, and Guy Fawkes' night (although as an ex-Catholic and pacifist I'm a bit uneasy about some of it). Still. I was nervous about the beer note until I tried a frimp of Beer From the Marsh Woman's Kitchen and just adored it, so that's fine too. Can't wait, and I will have a bottle, damn it! (does that count as profane?) Sugar Skull - sounded grim from the name. I'm squeamish about skulls and not keen on sugary flavours, but then I read a few reviews - oooh caramel, and raw sugar -well, this has to be done. No question.   I'm put off most of the others by ideas of melancholy, sadness and blood. I find that blends with that atmosphere lack something that, emotionally I despise but apparently I find olfactory essential. Harrumph. My nose is a right Pollyanna   So there we go. I can't afford 3 bottles but if the reviews of Samhain sounds good I shall find a way. Just as well Bub is :DGC!

Good Judy: Cannoli

Cannoli Category: Mary Jo's Bakery Quantity: sample   Description: CANNOLI A cannoli baked up right...Good Judy style! Creamy ricotta, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate chips, nuts and candied fruit all stuffed into a crispy baked shell. Sinful! Mama would be proud.   Review:   In the bottle: Another foody perfume... Sugar, vanilla, cream, chocolate, and something fruity in the background.   Wet: It really smells like pastry, with raisins, cinnamon, vanilla, ricotta or thick cream... It’s very sweet!   Dry: Now, I get the candied fruits, in a sugar-coated shell... However, the fruits smell like an artificial essence, that’s my only disappointment.   Verdict: Hum, this smells delicious! It might be a little bit too rich and decadent though...

A Very Merry Unbirthday to You!

Right-o! And here we have the long-overdue catchup on the questions posted in the Unbirthday Swap thread!   What magazines do you read/ have subscriptions to? I don't have any magazine subscriptions right now. I got the Food Network mag for the first year it came out, and it was alright. I probably would enjoy Cooks Illustrated, but blogs and so on have kind of subsumed magazines for me.   What kind of socks or tights do you like? No tights. Any socks are good. I have kind of been pining for the Polonova knee highs from sockdreams since I found them last year at switch witch, but not enough to buy a pair apparently!   Who would like to get a box in the mail with different teas in them? I think I'm good on teas for now.   Would you like anything (small) handknitted? if so, fiber sensitivities? Maybe a set of fingerless gloves? Winter comes early and hits hard in Upstate NY … except last year.   Do you like knitted items? Any allergies or preferences when it comes to the yarn? What colors? I don't wear too many knitted things! I did get a scarf from my witch last autumn that's done in several cool chromatic greys. It's very pretty. To be honest, I don't knit and I don't know too much about it!   What kind of wrapping do you like? Goth? Flowers? Girlie? Bright? Sparkly? Plain? Modern? Fancy? Other? I like solid colors or simple patterns (I have a red-and-white houndstooth I love for Christmas presents). Or the Sunday funnies. I've always had a soft spot for that as wrapping material.   Would you mind anything Alice in Wonderland UnBirthday themed? You'd think it would be de-rigeur, wouldn't you? ;D I'm most fond of the old woodcut illustrations.   What are your art preferences? Widely, widely varied. I'm an art history major, and while I really love the classics (especially Roman sculpture and architecture), I will probably end up studying the Florentine renaissance. Some of my favorite painting subjects are Judith and Holofernes, and I think in my posting history or elsewhere in this blog I made a whole big list of my favorite depictions of the Judgment of Paris. Within the past century, my favorite artist is Dalí; of less-famous, currently-working artists, long have I coveted a commission from Lord Dubu on deviantArt; I got him to do a piece this spring of my boyfriend's character, but getting my own done is still something I haven't been able to swing.   How do you feel about sample sizes or testers of things? I have absolutely no problem with this, especially if it's something I haven't gotten to try before!   Speaking of Villainess, who here is a fan? Would you want any of their goodies? If so, what are your scent wishes, and which types of products would you like? (i.e., Soap, Sugar Scrub, Moisturizer etc) I have only tried the "Killer Beez" perfume from Villainess, and none of their other products — except for the Xmvlzencab soap they make for the Post, which I love very much. I'd totally be over the moon to get some of their soaps and moisturizer, especially in scents that compliment my fave BPALs (favorite notes include honey, musk, patchouli, tobacco …)   Favorite movies? I've been a fan of Chris Nolan's since Memento and loved his Batman trilogy. My all-time favorite flick is Blade Runner, but I also have a big soft spot for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.   Do you have any hobbies that you need supplies for? Or anything you would like to learn to do? I paint Warhammer miniatures, so slottabases and Citadel paints are very welcome, especially their metallics and washes. I could totally make up a list of minis I covet, but I suspect that's a fast track to sticker shock for the uninitiated. I also have a whole Dick Blick wishlist that should have been in the questionnaire.   Do you need any kitchen supplies? Maybe a mortar and pestle or a spice grinder — or a small coffee grinder.   Are there any herbs or spices that you need? I wouldn't mind some higher-end cinnamon. Cumin. Good vanilla extract — although … can you mail that? hmm.   Although it's just the beginning of August, I've ALREADY started to see a few Halloween items showing up in the shops here and there- would you be interested in an early Halloween goodie? I love hallowe'en! It's my favorite holiday, and I don't think we moved any of our decorations to the new house.   If you are a knitter or hooker (aka crochet), do you need any yarn and accessories, or are there any Ravelry patterns that you would like? I'm not a knitter.   how do you like your incense, oil burners, or candles? Would you use an oil burner and essential oils? If so, what would be some longed-for essential oils? I don't generally incense, but I'd make an exception for this, which I am told smells just like Roman Catholic high mass incense (thus my grand love of Midnight Mass). I also don't have an oil warmer, but I kind of want to get one to use with BPALs that go wonky on me.   Is there anyone here who does collage or scrapbooking? Not I, alas.   Talk to me of candy. preferences, flavors, types, chocolate, not chocolate, etc. I never met a candy I didn't like. Those TimTams my Aussie friend sent me? Amazing. My fave was the dark chocolate/mint ones. Tasted a lot like Thin Mints, which was great in August, when Girl Scout cookies are a distant dream … I love dark chocolate, and I love it with all sorts of kooky things, like crystallized ginger or wasabi. I also just like crystallized ginger. I love cinnamon imperials, and Wint-o-green Life Savers, and the Skittles that used to come in the bright cyan-colored bag that I couldn't tell you what it was called. I also adore sour candies like Sour Punch Straws and Nerds Rope and Sour Patch Kids. And Heath Bars/toffee in general! And sea-salt caramels! and those caramel apple pops I used to buy at the school store in seventh grade! In short: all the candy.     Would you wear any of these [scarves; pics omitted]: I probably would not. Just doesn't seem like my style.   Are there any recently released BPAL bottles/and or imps that you'd like to have, that you havn't ordered yourself? I do regret not getting a decant of Luna Azul, as on reconsideration it seems like something I'd like. Other than that, my decanteuse floated the idea of doing a Dragon*Con circle but I don't know if she's actually doing it … I was most interested in Cuelebre and the atmo spray. I want the single note, too, for the sake of completeness, but rose and I don't always get along.   it's canning season. how would you feel about a small jar of jam/jelly/pickles/etc? I'd love to get some kind of jelly/jam/fruit preserves! My stepmother can't seem to make jelly faster than we go through it in my house. Salsa would also be very welcome!   Is there something special that can only be gotten in New York that you would want? Could you just bring me the Met? That'd be great. … Nothing that I can think of off the top of my head, but I get down there reasonably often myself.   Is there anything from PHILADELPHIA that y'all would want? Most likely the retail exclusives from the Mutter Museum — I have family down there as well, so I visit about once a year.   Would you prefer one larger gift or several smaller gifts? I would prefer my swapper does whatever makes her happiest.   If you were my swapee would you like to find a jug of syrup in your package? YES. YES I WOULD. The state fair opens tomorrow. I'm going Friday and probably going to buy tons of maple sugar and syrup. And local honey.   Who here likes British treats? I'm thinking Cadbury goodies, Curly Wirlies, Kinder chocolates, that sort of thing. and, more importantly, would you want some included in your gift box? I'm not too familiar with most British candies. I am told, however, that chocolate digestive biscuits are something I should try.   is there anything in particular you would like from Think Geek? if so, what? The only thing that really jumped out at me was the miracle berry tablets.

Unbirthday swap!

Ok, I've edited this so it looks somewhat normal but something odd is up with the blog entries, so I can't guarantee the formatting will look good. My apologies, dear swapper!   August 2nd>What magazines do you read/ have subscriptions to? Whole Dog Journal, Smithsonian.   ">What kind of socks or tights do you like?   Don't wear tights, but love socks. Natural fibers please. I like any length from anklets to knee high (love the idea of thigh high but don't wear them much). I like jewel tones in particular, but lots of colors are great.   ">Who would like to get a box in the mail with different teas in them? If so, what kinds?   I like tea, but haven't been drinking as much. I prefer herbal teas or flavored blacks, but drink herbal the most. All time favorites though that I drink all the time and am always in need of are ginger tea and hibiscus tea. Do you use loose leaf or tea bags? Do you need any tea supplies, like bags, pots, or infusers?   I use either. The only tea thing I need for the winter is a tea cozy or a tea pot that will keep my tea hot longer than my little glass pot does. August 3rd would you like anything (small) handknitted? if so, fiber sensitivities?   Sure! I like wool, but unless it is very soft merino, it does tend to bother me, esp. if it is on the neck. (its fine for hands). I love all luxury fibres of course, but don't expect them. Otherwise, anything goes. I prefer natural fibers but acrylic can be ok too. Jewel tones or earth tones are good. Do you like knitted items? Any allergies or preferences when it comes to the yarn? What colors?   see above. best colors--deep (blue toned) red. black. grey. Forest green. Purple. What kind of wrapping do you like? Goth? Flowers? Girlie? Bright? Sparkly? Plain? Modern? Fancy? Other?   any. I don't really have thoughts about it except that probably not girlie. August 5th Would you mind anything Alice in Wonderland UnBirthday themed? Love it! I love alice! August 6th What are your art preferences? check into my other swap posts/wishlists for more info. I like folk art esp. How do you feel about sample sizes or testers of things? Love them! Speaking of Villainess, who here is a fan? Would you want any of their goodies? If so, what are your scent wishes, and which types of products would you like? (i.e., Soap, Sugar Scrub, Moisturizer etc)It's ok, but I'm not crazy about it. There are other companies I like more. Do you have any hobbies that you need supplies for? Or anything you would like to learn to do?   I dabble in a lot of crafts, none particularly well. Jewelry making (beading), a lot of fabric dyeing, some collaging, etc. I've toyed with the idea of getting a "knook" to try the knitting/crochet technique, but haven't done it and don't know if I will. I can't think of supplies I need right now.   Do you need any kitchen supplies? ">The only thing I know I'd like is a tiny little zester type grater for whole spices. Oh, measuring cups/spoons. August 7th Are there any herbs or spices that you need?Love any spices. Really. I love Penzey's spices. Curries are fab. But anything spicey/tangy would be wonderful. Although it's just the beginning of August, I've ALREADY started to see a few Halloween items showing up in the shops here and there- would you be interested in an early Halloween goodie?Sure! August 8thIf you are a knitter or hooker (aka crochet), do you need any yarn and accessories, or are there any Ravelry patterns that you would like? I don't knit.   >August 9thhow do you like your incense, oil burners, or candles? Would you use an oil burner and essential oils? If so, what would be some longed-for essential oils? I love incense, esp. loose incense which I burn on the woodstove in the winter. I prefer resins and woods, and I do like high quality incense, like Fred Soll (made down the road from me, so I don't need any!) and the good Japanese incenses. I do have a oil burner but don't use it as much. I love essential oils though, and do need some new ones. Just bought more lavender and cedar, but almost anything else would be welcome, esp. if they also have healing qualities. I do need a rose, but that is pretty pricey, so don't worry about that. Would LOVE a BPAL candle, but also pretty pricey.   Is there anyone here who does collage or scrapbooking? If so, would you want a 'magpie gift', like, origami papers or other pretty things that could be incorporated into those types of art? Yes!   ">talk to me of candy. preferences, flavors, types, chocolate, not chocolate, etc. Mentioned this in my questions. I like good chocolate. Usually milk, but dark is ok too if it is paired with things that go well with it. I love fancy exotic filled chocolate. I love caramel, sea salt in particular. good nut brittles. Peanut butter with chocolate. Will add more later!

Happy Unbirthday swap questions

One big gift or a few small ones? Either is fine with me. Is there something special that can only be gotten in New York that you would want? Something from CB: I Hate Perfume! Especially Mr. Hulot's Holiday or Gathering Apples. new bpal? I haven't ordered anything in months because nothing really caught my eye, but if there is a decant you think I would like then I've love to try it.   it's canning season. how would you feel about a small jar of jam/jelly/pickles/etc? I'm not big on jams, jelly, etc but my kids and husband like them. How do you like your incense, oil burners, or candles? Would you use an oil burner and essential oils? If so, what would be some longed-for essential oils?We have a ton of oil burners and candles (as well as tarts, oils, etc). Maybe if there's an oil that smells like a pomander ball for around the holidays. Halloween stuff? Of course! We actually have a Halloween corner that stays up all year with my favorite items (they get distributed around the house during the fall then back to their corner in Nov.). We have a ton of decorations, figures, etc though and we are running out of room, but I will always find the room for something cool or strange (esp. Day of the Dead). My kids also love Halloween window clings (scary or cute).   What magazines do you read/ have subscriptions to? None. Not really a magazine person.   Second question: What kind of socks or tights do you like? I like socks and even have a seperate wishlist just for Sock Dreams. lol   Third Question: Who would like to get a box in the mail with different teas in them? If so, what kinds? "I may or may not have a tea problem... I have a lot of it. Please only send me tea if it is super omg amazing because I have a huge box full."   Yep, I'm just going to 2nd that.     Do you use loose leaf or tea bags? Do you need any tea supplies, like bags, pots, or infusers? I prefer loose, but bags are fine also.   How do you feel about sample sizes or testers of things? (Obviously I mean new, things that I've never opened kind of samples) It depends on what it is. Not so much makeup or skincare samples, though I do love Cocoa Pink samples.     Speaking of Villainess, who here is a fan? Would you want any of their goodies? If so, what are your scent wishes, and which types of products would you like? (i.e., Soap, Sugar Scrub, Moisturizer etc) I do love Villainess, but I have a ton I still have to get through before they go off.   Favorite movies? You can mention a genre or a director or time period. We are big horror movie fans here (esp. zombie and cheesy teen horror movies or over the top B horrors). I also love Star Trek movies (though not the newest one ) and 1980's movies.   Do you need any kitchen supplies? Nope, in fact we're trying to downsize what we have in the kitchen.

UnBirthday Swap Questions

Here I will collect all of the questions posted (after the original questionnaire) in-thread for the UnBirthday Swap.   What magazines do you read/ have subscriptions to? Cooking Light, Scientific American, & Scientific American Mind. Oh, and my husband gets Texas Highways, if that counts....   Second question: What kind of socks or tights do you like? I have enough socks that just come up to the ankle. Otherwise I like most socks. I could use more argyle ones I think. I do wear socks with silly stuff on them, and I do wear kneesocks if they fit on big calves (I know SockDreams has a whole category for that). I like tights too, but even more than with kneesocks, I'd need plus-sized ones... I think I got some on super-sale from Lane Bryant at the end of spring? For tights I like either patterned or solid colors.   Third Question: Who would like to get a box in the mail with different teas in them? If so, what kinds? I would really love that. I own a decent amount of tea, but I like variety and mostly we have boxes with several tea bags apiece.   Do you use loose leaf or tea bags? Do you need any tea supplies, like bags, pots, or infusers? I like tea bags better than loose tea but use both. And I would use loose tea more if I had a decent tea ball (which I guess is an infuser?), so you could get me one of those....   would you like anything (small) handknitted? if so, fiber sensitivities? Sure, as long as it isn't mittens because I dislike those. No fiber sensitivities but if it's a wearable item I probably don't want something super-itchy!   Do you like knitted items? Any allergies or preferences when it comes to the yarn? What colors? Mostly see the above question... but in terms of colors, other than what I've said in questionnaire about what colors I like, I guess I'd get the most use out of something wearable if it was in fall colors or blue.   wrapping paper: It doesn't matter, really, but my preference would be something that isn't super, super girly. As in, glitter is fine, pink is fine, flowers are fine, but if it was the intersection of all three, an entirely pink glittery floral print, that might be a bit much.   Alice-in-Wonderland/Unbirthday themed: I don't think I would mind something like that, as long as it isn't a t-shirt that would look better on a small child or something.   What are your art preferences? I could write paragraphs and paragraphs about this and still not give a good representation of what I like. But here are some examples:

Many of the decorations in my house are 70s-textile type stuff... think nature scenes done with needlepoint or latchhook in weird color schemes (no, I don't make them, we buy them at vintage or thrift stores).
Odilon Redon
Mucha's stuff that isn't advertisements
Jules Olitski
My husband really likes Rothko and Cy Twombly and I'm also a fan to some extent
(I may edit this later with more examples.)   Oh, and I like Andy Warhol's earlier, advertising-type stuff... this is an example, and I figured it fit this swap since it's a pretty cake:     How do you feel about sample sizes or testers of things? (Obviously I mean new, things that I've never opened kind of samples) Well, for me it depends on what they are samples of... I'm not much on skincare samples (moisturizing/undereye creams or stuff like that) because I already have a skincare regimen that works well for me. I might try makeup samples or I might not. Lotion/soap/shampoo/conditioner samples might also actually be used by me. Obviously I am cool with BPAL samples... not really a fan of most "other e-tailer"/OCYL perfume oil samples that I've been sent, I usually just end up passing them on.   Villainess: The only full-sized products I've ever had from this company are a Whipped (lotion) in Scintillating and a Burn (candle) in Jai Mahal. Wasn't all that impressed with Jai Mahal (the scent was more straight-up foodie than "exotic" or whatever for me), but love the other item. I wouldn't mind something else from the company, maybe a soap because so far I've only had soap samples and not an entire bar (yeah, I've had/used BPTP soaps which I'm aware are a collaboration, but no full-sized "just Villainess" soaps). Scents I'm interested in for soap would include Quick or Dead (which is a Limited Edition), Trauma (also limited), Triple Mint (also limited), Asphyxiate, Chloroform, Ginger Snapped, Jade, Killer Beez, Pearl Diver, and, of course, Villainess. I also saw that currently "Pipevine Swallowtail" Burn and soap are on sale (Clearance section), and I'd love to have either of those... can't even imagine how awesome a candle with tomato leaf would be!!!   Favorite movies: I'm not really into owning movies; I prettymuch never have the urge to re-watch things after I've seen them once. There was also already a question about what type of movies one likes in the orginal questionnaire for this swap, so the person who "has" me can look there if needed.   Do you have any hobbies that you need supplies for? Or anything you would like to learn to do? Does BPAL count as a hobby? I need some of the tiny plastic baggies that a bottle or a few imps fit in (I don't go to headshops and those are the only places I know of that have them, since they are also drug paraphernalia) so that I can use them for swaps or sales. I also need some wand caps for bottles (yes, I know they can be ordered from the lab; I just keep forgetting when I order). Other than that, I mentioned wanting stickers in my original questionnaire, and I wouldn't mind some cute (Japanese?) stationery or notepads or something.   Kitchen supplies: Yeah, I prettymuch always need these! I've already mentioned needing a tea ball. We also need a coffee grinder (I've seen little ones at Wal-Mart or whatever for like $10) and a small mortar & pestle set. I would like a cherry/olive pitter as well. Finally, not sure if spices count as kitchen supplies or not, but I could use some ground cardamom (again, ground, not the pods, I have plenty of those!) or some Vietnamese/Saigon cinnamon (not just regular cinnamon, the good stuff!).   Halloween stuff: Mixed on this one too. I had some glittery foamstuff Halloween stickers (cats/witches/ghosts/graves/etc.) that I loved, up until a couple of months ago when I finally ran out of them from sticking a couple in every swap or sales package I sent out. I love black cats in general, and anything with a candy corn print. I really, really don't like pumpkin spice anything though (candles, drinks, whatever), so I don't want any of that.   Not a knitter or crochet-er, alas!   how do you like your incense, oil burners, or candles? Would you use an oil burner and essential oils? If so, what would be some longed-for essential oils? I guess I'm lazy in this regard. In terms of home-scenting, I like stick/wand incense and scented candles (though the only Yankee Candle scent I've ever liked is plain old "Vanilla Cupcake" ... I'm more into candles by Voluspa or Illume or, uh, smaller businesses than those). I honestly feel like I live right by the best incense place ever, Devonshire (they make incense for the Vatican, etc., and I've also recently tried their soap and lotion), but I'd try other stick incense as well. I'm really not interested in oil burners or tart warmers or those reed diffuser sticks.   Collage or scrap-booking supplies? Hmm... I guess not. I'd like to think that I make collages, but in reality I've made exactly one over the last several years. And I'm the kind that uses old magazines for that, and I can't really see myself asking for or getting old magazines as a birthday gift, even an UnBirthday one. Definitely not interested in origami paper or things primarily associated with scrap-booking, though as I mentioned previously, I'd love more stickers, especially Japanese/kawaii type ones!   Recently-released BPAL? Well, I'm among the multitudes who love Silver-Haired Bat and would love to have more of it (I have less than 1/2 of a decant currently). I also wouldn't mind a decant of Pandy; didn't order that one with my other recent decants and have regretted this.   how would you feel about a small jar of jam/jelly/pickles/etc? That'd be awesome. Not really into jalapeno jelly (I guess because of the usual way it's eaten with a block of cream cheese and crackers ), and really only like sour or dill pickles (none of that bread-and-butter or hot pickle business), but otherwise, I'd appreciate whatever!   NYC or Philadelphia stuff? As another has mentioned above, I can't think of anything other than a "touristy magnet" from either. I mean, I'd love to try Big Gay Ice Cream in NYC, but obviously that won't ship and I wouldn't really want any of their "swag" without actually trying the ice cream treats.   One large gift or several small ones? I'm in the "whatever's fine" camp I guess. Maybe with a slight preference toward more than one thing, but within reason (like, I'd rather have a $5 thing and a $20 thing than 25 $1 things, etc.). But if you find the one thing that's perfect for me, then have at it!   Maple syrup? Yes please!   British treats: I like honeycomb candy bars like Crunchie. Will update if I can think of anything else.   Ah, Think Geek... I've been a fan for several years. Within the bounds of this swap's suggested expenditure amount, I'd like:

Blue Canary
Geek Chic Sexy in Suspenders eyeshadow
TeaGo Tea Inufuser
Bacon Jam
Edible Wild Hibiscus Flowers
Inanimate Character Stickers

Possets   Alisoun (The Miller's Tale) Thick veil of white vanilla starting off, building up to a crescendo of special Australian apricot and a layer of honey musk.   The Big Black Cat Buttery creme with a smooth caramel undercoat, bourbon vanilla (the kind with the tiny black specks), gourmet candy corn crushed and put in the mix, and a crust of burnt sugar with a crunch from some indefinable but thoroughly delightful source. All this with a kiss of cinnamon, a very small puff of clove, and one grain of allspice.   Hot Cross BunsYeasty bread with a glossy top and a thick "X" of sugary icing, a generous helping of currents and European citron and that is a classic Hot Cross Bun.   Madame XWicked, sinful, hedonistic, and irresistable. You may not have the heart to play the femme fatale, but you can at least smell the part. It's musky, creamy, enticing, perfumy, slightly foody, but very skin-like.   Reason About 6 vanillas and three toffees and a big glop of butter and cream on it all. I have envied chocolate lovers as their favorite treat comes to them in a bar, whereas we vanillaites have to go through lots of exercises to enjoy our obsession. Reason will make you feel totally catered to, with vanilla on top of vanilla with a very gooey and butter laden liquid toffee encapsulation.   The Girls Love a Good PossetThis is the best French pastry cream, so buttery and makes love to your tongue. This is the stuff you find under those excellent plums, a thin coating of heavenly custard (no plums here though...nothing good for you at all).   The Girls Love VanillaFor anyone who loves loves loves the smell of vanilla, this is the supersaturated honey soaked, sinful, hedonistic custom rare and unabashed blend you have been waiting for.   Fireflies Fireflies rises again in a pother of sweetness, citrus, humidity and languid gauziness. This is a fragrance light enough to wear without cloying on the most humid of evenings.     Violette Market   Butterscotch Cotten Candy Clouds of ivory cotton candy infused with butterscotch accord, white sugar cane, vanilla cream, and boozy vanilla bean.   Antoinette's Tea Cakes Sweet vanilla sugar tea cakes covered in pink glaze and infused with pearled China musk, French rosewater, and shimmering amber dust.   Pumpkin Chai Ripe harvest pumpkin, sweet black tea, clove bud, vanilla bean, cardamom, warming Masala spices, and sweet vanilla cream.   Marty (Magic Fingers) McVay Smoky vanilla, golden resins, sweet vanilla tea spiced with cinnamon, and dirty white amber.   Lydia's Firefly LanternsWhite peach, warmed sandalwood, golden amber, honey sugar, cedar wood, white autumn rose, blond vetiver, and sparkling pink and gold fairy dust.   Fireflies Lydia's golden fireflies glowing among raw agave sugar crystals, toasted marshmallow creme, and a pinch of golden amber dust.   General Store Leaf GatheringAutumn leaves, crisp and crinkled by too many October afternoons, touched lightly by aged amber and dusty vanilla.   Miss Danie Doe, The Cathouse Kitties Creamy Harvest pumpkin cheesecake with a hint of cloven spice.   Washington IrvingEarl Gray tea, bergamot peel, lavender, golden amber, cedar wood branches, creamed honeycomb, frankincense, clove tobacco, vanilla flower, pale myrrh, cinnamon dust, and lemon leaf.   Solstice Scents   Snowshoe Pass White Amber, White Musk, Vanilla Accord, Peppermint Cream, Cold Winds   Villianess   Dulces en Fuego Musky bitter chocolate sweetened with vanilla and touches of citrus then positively inflamed with black pepper and nutmeg.   Ginger Snapped A slightly psychotic blend of sweet cinnamon, rich cardamom, spicy ginger, and a faint touch of innocent vanilla.   Killer Beez Sheer lethal cream and honey and a barely-there touch of nuts. Because you catch more bees with honey...   Jai Mahal - Fall O7 A lesser palace infused with the sweet scent of victory. 4 rich vanillas and tonka, Mysore sandalwood, bourbon and coconut. Expensive woods, incense and imported spices - cedar, amber, myrrh, cardamom and nutmeg.   Brats Ribbon candy spliced with butterscotch, salted caramels and a resinous melange of sticky sweets.   Jack O. A cheerful gush of pumpkin and buttercream against a backdrop of fall - sere leaves and sweetgrass, bonfires and candle flame.   Conjure Oils   Guardian Angel Thirteen vanillas, butter cream, angel food cake and layers of heavenly coconut cream   Cyanide Crumpets & Nightshade Jam Toasted crumpets slathered in almond butter and seeded blackberry and nightshade berry jam.   Nocturne Alchemy   Queen Amber Egyptian Honey Incense and Amber   Eternal Ankh White Amber, Powdered and reconstructed oil of Egyptian Vanilla Husk, Vanilla fleck, African White Vanilla and the scent of soft Egyptian Sands.   Eternal Alexandria NA Sand Note (Papyrus, Vellum and Amber Oils), White Amber, Egyptian Amber Musk and just a few drops of Egyptian Organic Cardamom.   Eternal Egypt White Amber, Red Egyptian Musk, Egyptian Amber and the sands of Egypt.   Bes Vanilla Cream Vapour, Caramelized Egyptian Sugar Dust, Vanilla Musk, Cardamom, Sandalwood and Egyptian Black Clove Buds.   Aurora Slightly sweet and buttery vanilla, slightly toasted coconut   Hathor's White Cinnamon Vanilla Earl Grey   Earl Grey tea leaves imported from India, Sweet Bergamot E/O, White Cinnamon of subtle woods and spice extracts harmonizing with Red Tea and Egyptian White Tea leaves, Egyptian White Sugar, Brown Sugar, Vanilla Cream and a drop of Cardamom Whip.       Blooddrop   Boo! Marshmallow & pumpkin!   Boo Bees The most feared, reviled, and terrifying monsters of the insect world! Beware the ghostly bumbles! Shriek at the wee, sheeted wings of doom! Behold! Boo bees! Honey, marshmallow, honeysuckle, valerian, and apple blossoms.   Happy Halloween   Happiest of spooking to all! Come to my party! Pumpkin cupcakes with white chocolate buttercream frosting.   Calaveras Marshmallow, condensed milk, white sugar, brown sugar, maple sugar and a touch of frosting.   Lantern A warm, glowing gourd, carved in an intricate pattern to light the dark and chilly nights of Autumn. Pumpkin, soft amber, quatre-quarts cake, dried stalks, honey, sweet orange, golden resins and spices, and candle wax.   Sugar Cone   Apple Cider Doughtnuts   Spun Sugar Fluffy, summery, fair-time cotton candy, but without the cavities!   Haus of Gloi   Troika A trinity of soft milks, almond, oat and coconut, lashed with sweet agave nectar and the ethereal scent of clean white.   Maple Sugar Crystallized maple sugar.   Customs:   1.Gulub Jamun Fried Dough Sugar Syrup Cardamom Rosewater   2.Pure Honeysuckle Honeysuckle Wet soil   3 Underbed Angel Food Cake Cassia Cocoa Toasted Coconut   4.
