Lucide Report post Posted March 13, 2014 Daughter of Pan and Echo and dear friend to Demeter. When Demeter was mourning the abduction of her daughter, Iambe was the only creature in heaven and earth that was able to lend cheer and laughter to the grieving mother. Her scent is one of comfort, beauty and joy: Sudanese amber, patchouli, rose, gardenia, gladiola and white tea. This is a very pretty, soft and uplifting scent. I smell especially gardenia/rose and a wee bit of the tea.Beautiful, but not for me, I don't like flowery scents on myself.
Veronica Report post Posted November 8, 2014 Interesting. Warm and spicy floral. I can sense all the notes in this, but they're jumbled together. Not for me.
achildoftime Report post Posted November 26, 2017 Iambe opens with a lovely white tea and gardenia. It's bright and fresh when wet, but once it's dry the patchouli comes out and grounds it. The patch makes it a little biting and not nearly as springy as it was when first applied. I weirdly don't get any rose from this at all. I'll have to think on this one. I kind of wish this on leaned more toward floral or more toward the earthy resinous aspect instead of hovering somewhere in the middle.
