BPAL Madness!

I'm probably not going to be much help with this review, because UMU1 was all grape gummies on me, exactly like those Welch's grape gummies made with real fruit juice. It seems to be a cousin to Beth's "fruit gums" notes like those in Magic Do As You Will and Nightmare, more like that in Magic Do As You Will, which was sweeter. Unfortunately that was the issue; I amp the sweetness in anything that has it to begin with, and this ended up becoming cloying on me in the end. It has gone off to greener pastures.

A big thanks to Invidiana for passing this one along to me! I smell the grape gummies in the bottle, but on me this one becomes something I can not pin point no matter how hard I try. I feel like I smell honey- but I don't like honey notes and this doesn't have what makes me dislike honey.... I also feel like I smell tulip in there too- my BF says he smells flowers when I put it on. I really like it a lot, I was unsure at first but it is so unique and sweet that it has grown on me- if I don't reach for it too much it may get swapped but for now I am enjoying it!!

To me UMU1 is delicate flowers, sugar, and something that ends up like plastic.

For the delicate flowers I am guessing tulip and perhaps bluebell in it.

As for the 'plastic' that comes out - it is a bit scorched earth like, and I know I've smelled it in other blends - so it could potentially be a type of vanilla or a fruit note that does not play well with my skin.

I did not get any grape on my skin, which is sad because I do smell it in the vial. Perhaps the grape note turns plasticky?
