OctoberGwen Report post Posted April 6, 2012 I also love powdery - and powder does not automatically mean "baby powder", people. Snake Oil, Haunted, and Spellbound are favorite powdery scents for me. Share this post Link to post
Dusk Report post Posted April 8, 2012 Scherezade went very powdery on me, I think it was the saffron. Share this post Link to post
curlsandpearls Report post Posted April 9, 2012 Anathema (black opium, vetiver, honeysuckle) starts out strong with silky-smooth vetiver but dries to a very powdery, dark floral (not baby powder). If you can do vetiver, it might be one to try. Share this post Link to post
ClareN Report post Posted September 10, 2012 I wasn't too impressed by Othello the first time I tried it, but I recently revisited my aged imp and loved the clean, powdery, soft quality it has. The lab description is "Arabian musk with two roses and a bevy of Middle Eastern and Indian spices". I think most of what I'm smelling is Arabian musk; I don't detect much rose, and the spices are gentle, something like saffron - not clove or cinnamon. It's a really lovely scent for when you want something subtle and unobtrusive. Share this post Link to post
