BPAL Madness!

Pumpkin, almond, brown musk, and honey.

Sniffed: Pumpkin plus a whiff of almond and a glowing pungency that's probably the musk and honey.

On skin: Brown musk doesn't always get along with me, so I'm relieved that the glowing, sharp brownness settles. Now it's a dry, light pumpkin mixed with sweet, rich honey and a touch of almond. The musk emerges again after a while, but mixes well with the other notes. Nutty and warm and glowing; a smooth foody scent that is a bit too rich for me.

Verdict: Mmm, not bad. I like pumpkin, not so much brown musk and honey, but for once they are playing nice here. Glad I can wear it, but it's not wowing me.

This is a very rich scent that doesn't scream Pumpkin! Very blended. For cooler weather though.

This smells so good!!! Almond (which sometimes turns on me, thankfully it's behaving in this scent), along with the honey and the pumpkin. Gorgeous and sexy and nom!

ITI: Ooh, I'm not normally a foody, but I respond well to the pumpkin and brown musk together. It smells like there is brown sugar in there as well.

Wet: I get more of an odd muskiness now that it is on my skin. While it is not mentioned in the note list, I get nutmeg and a little berry as well. The honey does sweeten things up, but I don't get much almond.

Dry: I get more mulling spices with my pumpkin. I actually like this quite a bit.

I - am actually salivating. This is so tasty, and so comforting.

In the imp: Spice and vanilla! Sweet potato cookies, or Vanillekipferl.

Wet: toasted nuts and brown sugar and pumpkin, very round and very orange and very soft and welcoming.

Dry: Lovely sweet complex honey - how could I not fall in love with this?! It smells like pumpkin or sweet potato pulp when it's been boiled but not yet baked, and toasted nuts, and all the best things in a kitchen. Incredibly warm and welcoming, and absolutely delicious - rich and creamy and utterly, butterly amazing.

I'm disappointed. I was expecting something spicy and sweet and warm, but on my skin it disappears in 10 minutes and no sign of the dry-down.

Mmm, a dark brown honey scent, delicious. More pumpkin-y when wet on my skin. Sensual. On drydown, almost pure brown musk with some dry honey. A keeper.
