Smoky musk, ambergris, tonka bean, brown sandalwood, daemonorops, black currant, and honey.

Wet in the decant and on my skin, this starts out disappointingly cologne-y, with the brown sandalwood, smoky musk and ambergris taking the lead. As it dries down, the honey comes out to play a bit with the tonka bean, giving this a pleasant sweet tinge, but there's no hint of black current. Sadness.

Man with Phallus Head opens with honey, my favorite note. The honey then gives way to.... er, what I would imagine a man with a phallus head would smell like? Really musky, like the phallus head's been trapped in jeans all day. Like, not freshly washed. Um. I think that it's not just the smoky musk creating that impression, the ambergris and sandalwood and tonka are combining to create it. It's a sex smell without necessarily being a sexy smell. Following that, the black currant comes out. It surely does make me think of a phallus. Wow.

In the imp - I get the musk, the tonka and the honey.

 

On wet - Why hello there. This is very, very nice. I was worried about the currant but it just gives it a dry, not overly sweet fruity brightness. The honey and tonka smoothes out the musk and sandalwood. Am quite impressed so far

 

Drydown - a wonderful summer scent. This is mostly honey and musk with a little sandalwood on me now. Sunny and sexy. Perfect for days to come

In the imp, I'm getting the smoky musk, ambergris, and tonka, a very interesting scent. On my skin, this is ambergris and tonka, and very reminiscent of dicks, shall we say. Hrm. We'll see what this does. Gonna give this a full skin test, cause what I'm smelling is really interesting, but I just can't decide if it's something I could swing. Ends up being a bit too dickish on the full skin test, and I don't want to walk around smelling like a dick. Just saying.

On me this smelled like a syrupy sweet baby powder - not good!

It's a little powdery all the way through -- wet and dry stages -- but in this one I don't mind that as much as I usually do. It's soft, musky, and very nice. I noticed a fruity scent when I first put it on (currant, I guess), but when it's dry I can't smell any kind of fruit as much as I can smell the honey. None of the notes are going weird on me -- they're all playing nicely.

 

You know, I think these penisy ones work out pretty well for me. This one, Penis Admiration, Fascinum... I tend to like them. I'm not head over heels for this scent because there's nothing hugely WOW about it, it's just very soft and musky and nice. Comfy. I like it.

Forum purchase. This is delightful, seven years aged. Primarily, it's soft & musky. The honey is very faint. The musk seems to be a skin musk, I can't detect any smoke. There is a sweet hint of tonka, & subtle sandalwood. I can't find the daemonorops, or the black currant.

It's not very lasting, but it's very, very good.

Buttery plastic. I actually think this oil has aged badly, or potentially gone off. I'm not going to review it fully, I think I will try another decant before I decide if it really smells like this, or if this one just didn't age well. Too bad! Was really looking forward to it.
