Goats milk, coconut, rice milk, honey carnation, and sugar. I hate to be the first review because I'm terrible at identifying notes but here goes: This scent is much warmer than I was expecting - everything already blended well before it even touched my skin. Having trouble picking out notes. I'm thinking the honey carnation is giving a deeper note....or maybe the sugar is more like a burnt sugar or a brown sugar. I got this one and the Kitten scent together and was worried they'd be too similar but they are nothing alike on my skin. Oddly enough despite having two milk notes this doesn't come off as particularly milky to me. There is a hint of it in the background but I get....even an almost wood note in this? The more it sits the more I think it's the honey carnation. Also no coconut to be found on my which I occasionally amp. So interesting - not sure if it's my skin chemistry or the scent itself so I look forward to reading more reviews.

Rice milk, white musk, and pear. I was intrigued by this one, but pear can sometimes be too sweet for me. In this case, it was. The pear and creamy rice milk amped on me, with the musk not quite emerging (I was hoping it would smooth/mellow out the pear). It is a lovely blend for those that enjoy sweet creamy fruit blends.

Madagascan vanilla, rice powder, iris root, and pale musk. Of the Lupercalia hair glosses I sniffed, The Moon Reflected in Every Rice Paddy made the greatest first impression. On that note, I actually tried it out in my hair and it's a beautiful, creamy, almost marshmallow-y scent without being saccharine. Not too dry or powdery. I'm seriously considering a full bottle.

[No additional description provided.] In the Bottle: YUMMMMMMM! Rich goat's milk and marshmallow and cocoa butter, oh my! Wet On Skin: More of the same, and I couldn't be happier. Dry Down: The cocoa butter warms up and comes forward a bit more but the goat's milk and marshmallow hold their own. the honey is a whisper and frankly, I'm glad, as honey does sometimes amp on my skin and drowns out other more subtle notes. In All: This is incredible. Like, I-probably-need-a-backup-bottle kind of incredible. This is a foodie's paradise. I am seriously in LOVE.

Amber and balsam peru with patchouli, blood orange, and rose geranium. This was the luper that I was most excited for this year, because I adore geranium and patchouli. My only hesitation was with the blood orange, because citrus can go too sour on me, and I wanted this to be an herbal-spicy-rich-earthy-amber sort of fragrance. I thought that the other, heavier notes would overpower the citrus, but that is not the case. In the bottle, I get creamy orange and nothing else. On my skin, a big blast of sour, tart orange. 15 minutes later, still mostly orange, but I think I can pick out a sweet, smooth, chocolatey patchouli and dry, sandalwood-like wood notes. Sadly, I can't really pick out the rose geranium at all. I get none of its green spiciness. I don't get any green balsam notes either. A half hour in, this is a barely there skin scent that's mostly baby powdery amber and a smear of sour orange. My biggest hope of the Lupers this year is my biggest disappointment

Sugar dusted strawberries and mallow blossoms. My first two thoughts upon putting this on were, "This smells like the milk left over after eating a bowl of cereal. Or maybe strawberry milk!" It settles into something less childish fairly quickly. I have a few strawberry scents that like from bpal, but none that I love yet. I love this one. It's gentle strawberry and sweet milky marshmallow with just a touch of something perfumey. It's strawberry Stekkjarstaur.

[No additional description given.] Ok, so usually I totally stay away from anything that has patchouli in it... BUT I have learned that there are times when the Lab/Post has a way of blending it that makes it less hippie-ish, which is what I never liked about patch. SO I thought I would try this! I haven't sprayed in my hair, so this is just sniffing in the bottle... I might edit this once I do a proper hair test. Sniffing in the bottle I do get chocolate... and something pale and sweet. That might be the tea note, but it doesn't seem like the usual tea scent I have smelled in other blends. Also, it might be how the patch is blended with the tea and chocolate, but it almost seems like it is a little bit of a licorice smell there. My nose isn't at 100% right now because of allergies, but this seems like it will be a nice light blend despite it being patch and dk chocolate in there. Update: Got this in my hair....sadly, this isn't for me. The chocolate note is nice, but the tea and patch notes together goes odd. Still get that licorice vibe and I am not a licorice fan. Oh well.... that's how it goes!

Black amber, 7-year aged patchouli, cashmeran, and tobacco leaf. Dark, chewy, sexy, woodsy. The cashmeran keeps it from being "dirty", I think, and gives it bit of an elegant "clean" vibe. Good, strong, throw initially, and that peanut butter thing that patchouli sometimes does is only there for a brief moment. Not sweet. I think I love this. I think you will too. Edit: I'm wearing this again today, and after 5 hours, the patchouli is nearly gone; I mostly smell the cashmeran at this point, and it's a nice, classy, woody scent. The initial throw has disappeared, and this seems like more of a skin scent. Very unisex. I now know I love this.

Hay absolute, chrysanthemum incense, labdanum, tobacco leaf, and wild plum. First impression "Ooh! This smells fancy". Incensed plum with floral undertone. Good throw and wear length. I washed my hair and still got a whiff the next day. I'm not really an incense person but I am a hay fiend and looking for more plum.

Dark Chocolate, Black Carnation, Myrrh, White Sage, and Plum Atmosphere Spray

[No additional description given.] I get lots of cocoa powder and dark, sweet, glossy plum with hints of spicy, sort of black peppery carnation and dry sage. I don't love the herbal, dry sage part. I sprayed this on to some throw pillows and it quickly settled into a soft cocoa and dried herbs scent. Kept making me think of clary sage, with a bright, golden quality to the dry, herbal component. I wish the plum were stronger. -
White sandalwood, opium tar, tobacco leaf, and white amber. This is a gorgeous scent. I would say that all of the notes are equally represented both wet and on the dry down. The sandalwood and opium tar are more prominent but in general I find tobacco leaf and white amber to be more subtle scents. The throw is excellent and the scent sticks around for quite some time. This is definitely a sandalwood heavy scent.

Hinoki wood, grave moss, vetiver, and cypress. lately I'm drawn to scents that evoke forests and wilderness, and this starts out like a fairy tale woods at dusk, with inky, goth, velvety moss-and-cypress branches casting spiky black lace shadows. there's a trace of grit from the vetiver. this wet phase is stunning, gorgeous. dry, this morphs into something soft and gentle, like pale worn suede. throw is gentle and my skin noms this within two hours. eta: it's been over a week and this beauty has upped significantly in throw and wear-length. it's also morphing and shifting in the most welcomed and delicious ways. currently: dark, gritty woodsy open, leaning more unisex aka cologne-like in the dry-down.

White oud and white sandalwood, iris pallida, blonde woods, and pink pepper. Oh, Karikkotsu, you gorgeous elegant, bony nightmare you! This is special. This is unlike any of the Shungas or lupers in the (huge) collection. This is high end chic. This..... is elegant, dry wood with a whisper of what seems to be Bay Rum and a touch of pepper. As if a perfectly dressed gent has arrived at the bar for drinks before dinner..... but it's so unique it's ungendered. Everyone who smelled it, even bpal folks themselves seemed surprised at and enthralled with it. Wearing this I feel.....grand....put together...impossibly chic yet laid back and comfortable. I think the iris is the key that blends all these notes together in a magical way that creates a soft, amazing, sleek yet relaxed scent. I. Love. This. ...Bottle bought.

Saffron oudh and red sandalwood. If you're like me and you can't wait to smell your BPAL as soon as you get it into your hands, don't worry about Mors Syphilitica. Yesterday she was still upset from what must have been a rough journey, but she had a good night's sleep and now she's sweet and well behaved. I know there's no orange blossom listed in this, but somehow that's what I get at first. That must be the saffron. Just one dab on one wrist wafted through the air beautifully, all sweet and feminine, but not exactly girly. By the time I got to work the woods emerged. Now it's closer to the woody skin scent that I was expecting, so I added a dab to my throat to see how it might smell on a different part of the body. The sweet, orangey overtone is still there, but it's much softer now. I suspect that it's going to morph into the woody undertone over the course of the day. Even though there's something familiar about Mors Syphilitica, it isn't like anything else I wear even though I have fragrances with all of these notes. Red sandalwood comes out in Mors Syphilitica the way it does in Wanton, but I can't wear Wanton because it's too heady. Saffron is also in Scherezade, but takes a back seat to the screaming red musk--Mors Syphilitica is closer to what I wanted Scherezade to be, I think. Most of my favourite fragrances have only a small number of notes, and this turns out to be true again. Mors Syphilitica is a red sandalwood scent that doesn't shout. It's sophisticated and wearable even for someone like me, who can't take a strong perfume.

Soft mosses, lotus petals, bamboo wood, ylang ylang, and vanilla sandalwood. Wow, this is a very gentle scent. Everything about it evokes softness, it's super pretty. The notes are very well blended but I think the soft mosses are at the forefront. The lotus and ylang ylang give it a sweet edge while the vanilla sandalwood gives it a smooth background, the bamboo wood lends a freshness. Overall, this is soft, fresh and clean. Nice for spring!

Honeyed vanilla and jasmine petals dirtied by labdanum, patchouli, and vetiver. Powdery sweet, very faint jasmine wearing off. So girly and gently pretty and soft. The labdanum, i believe, is adding a slight booziness to it. It doesn't scream a powdery scent, sometimes you want a scent like this though. Like a soft honey version of BPAL Euphrosyne (my moms favorite). Last at least a whole school day for me. This was also a winner for me!

Blackberry pulp, Bordeaux wine, grape leaves, and wild patchouli. In The Bottle: Heavy on the blackberry, as I'd hoped for. The wine is the grape-y variety of note. At this stage, it's much more fruit-heavy as opposed to booze heavy. The blackberry note is the same one from WKAP's Blackberry Jam and Scones. Wet On Skin: Rich purple grape and blackberry in harmony. At this stage, no green leaves or patchouli to be found. Dry Down: A slight boozy quality at last emerges. Still, this is not the rich, heady one from, say, Glüwein or anything. This is more like a fruity purple sangria. While it might've been interesting to have the patch in the mix, I'm just delighted to have another blackberry-heavy scent in the rotation. In All: Medium throw and just full of juicy purple fruitiness!

Beeswax, tobacco leaf, a whiff of smoke, and purple rose petals. Ok I so I told myself I wasn't going to come on here and write some ramble-y, amateurish review but never mind that... I this scent and I want to share my love. It is mainly beeswax to me/on me, with a creamy antique rose melded to it, a very very faint whisper of smoke (that seems to come and go) and what seems to be a background of tobacco. Well, honestly, I'm not really even sure I can quite distinguish the tobacco from the beeswax, I usually amp honey and beeswax, and tobacco tends to do some sort of comforting golden grounding thing on me so I think they are mingling into one sofly-gilded-beeswax thing in my nose. I'm reminded a bit of The Lights of Men's Lives, and a bit more of the the beeswax I smell The Gambols of Ghosts, which seems a thicker and more opaque wax to me. Flickering Lantern is a fairly sweet scent on me, but softly so, and the rose is doing some kind of creamy almost-edible thing that I find most delightful! It's romantic, sort of maternal, maybe, and just lovely. To me this scent is a creamy, softly-glowing, peachy-mauve. I'm not getting purple, my experience of this is romantic evening mauve.

Daffodil petals and lavender tulips, blonde woods, freesia, and a touch of pale honey. The honey note here is so light and airy, it's downright ethereal. And the florals? So dewy and bright you can see the condensation gathering on their petals. I love a good spring floral, but this? This blows all of them out of the water. I don't know how Beth is able to continually improve upon a seemingly simple scent family, but man, this is worth hoarding.

Tuberose, white peach, orange blossom, lemon peel, and caramelized vanilla. Upon first application, Humanite is a gorgeous, literally mouthwatering (!) fruity-floral fragrance, grounded by the sweet caramelized vanilla lurking in the background. I can detect each note, yet none stands our more than any of the others. The white peach and lemon peel leave the party after a while, leaving a trace of their fruitiness in their wake. The tuberose, orange blossom, and caramelized vanilla are more prominent now. As it fades a bit more it becomes a sweet, pretty, soft scent. The tuberose is never overwhelming, and the citrus keeps the whole thing from ever being cloying. Despite the rather eerie image on the bottle, this is a very lovely and happy scent, evocative of spring and fresh young things.

[No additional description provided.] Another sweet win! In the bottle, it is a lovely white choco and pear! On skin - it stays the same... it is a sweet choco/pear. Not overly sweet, but sweet enough for foody lovers! Drydown - the pear comes out a little more in front, but the choco is there. Very light.... fades quick, but it is very nice. *Edited to give better review..... did a proper test!

Benzoin and white juniper with dark musk, tobacco, nag champa, and oudh. Really excited about these notes, but juniper is not always great on me. Still, excited!!! These decants just came today, but I cannot wait to try them. Wet: Benzoin and juniper are both REALLY strong. So it smells like a sweet, syrupy gin drink. Not really a horrible thing! But hoping the juniper does what it often does and dies down, letting some of the other notes shine. Dry: This goes through a phase where it reminds me of Savage Forever - dark musk, woods, and something cold. But about half an hour after that this has settled into a screechy, powdery, soapy mess. No clue why! Actually, now that I smell again, it's not consistently bad, and may still be morphing. I think this would have benefitted from some more patience on my part, and I will have to test again once I have let it settle. Overall impressions though are of juniper and benzoin when wet. Juniper fades a lot, benzoin stays strong, and the musk really comes out. I think it's the nag champa going soapy on me, so it clearly has a strong presence. Will update this if it changes after it settles. Right now I don't know what to think of it.

Nectarine and pearl peach, white frankincense, and gardenia. In the bottle: juicy ripe fleshy fruit Wet on the skin: juicy, ripe, realistic nectarines and soft peaches. There's a little frankincense, but it's light, and the gardenia seems present, but maybe a little distant. Dry down: I was worried the nectarine and peach would dry down too soft, but they stay lovely and fruity, if not so juicy, and the gardenia steps up without being over powering. This is a gorgeous blend! Going to be one of my favorites. I'd put it in a similar family to another favorite: Josie (but sans honey, and maybe lighter/fresher fruit, and gardenia is slightly less heady than magnolia).

Cedarwood, orange blossom, Florentine iris, and golden vanilla. Beneath the Kotatsu is absolutely beautiful. The cedar is very subtle, and grounds the scent without playing a prominent role. The vanilla is warm, with no hint of plastic. The orange blossom and iris are sweet and subtle. This began as a subtle floral with medium throw, and settled down to a slightly closer scent dominated by vanilla. Truly a beautiful blend.

Belgian Chocolate, Ambrette Seed, and Rum Absolute Atmosphere Spray

[No additional description given.] I'm really shocked that this doesn't have any other reviews, because it's amazing to me, like my favorite atmosphere spray ever kind of amazing. It has even edged out The Agricultural Building, which I previously thought was the ultimate in chocolatey goodness. This makes The Agricultural Building smell like a cheap packet of hot cocoa mix, though (which is still great to me, as I love chocolate, lol). This is the sexiest chocolate-marshmallow-musk-thing ever. It smells like melting milk chocolate, melting marshmallow cream, and sex with dark, rich, vanilla-booziness. The rum adds a dark, rich, grownup warmth to the blend and the ambrette makes it like some sort of sensual marshmallow cream musk with melting chocolate. It's so smooth and amazingly good, and sweet without being cloying, because it has such a smooth, creamy feel to it. It's gourmand, but adult and dark around the edges. I wish that I could get this in perfume, hair gloss and bath oil form as well. I want to bathe in it.
