    TKO

I got a decant of this because I'm too poor to be spending $25.50 on something unsniffed. There is definitely a bottle of this toasty potion in the very near future. Falling asleep has always been difficult for me. TKO has made it not only easier but almost like a treat. It's like being tucked in to a field of lavender by the Sta-Pufft Marsmallow Man (when he's happy, not stomping all over Manhattan). Sweet Dreams indeed!

    French Love

Oh my, this is lovely. One of my favorite parts of the arrival of Spring is the blooming of the lilacs, so I'm extremely fond of that scent. And the dragons blood brings it a sweetly wanton quality. Wearing this, I feel like a beautiful, spoiled French courtesan reclining on a chaise lounge reading bawdy literature with a detatchedly amused countenance, awaiting the arrival of her lover. And knowing he won't be able to keep his hands of her. Yes, this is a bottle waiting to happen.

    Gainful Employment

I got this as part of a decant circle, and I'm glad I did. Scent-wise, it is very clovey, with cinnamon and nutmeg. It reminds me of those spice dolls we used to make in Brownies. I would wear this as a perfume, at least in the winter (it's heavy). However, this is a TAL oil, and ultimately we all want to know: does it do what we hope it will do? I applied for a receptionist/administrator job at a holistic spa. I annointed a green candle the night before the interview and imagined myself wowing the manager and generally being very charming and impressive. I wore it like any perfume to the interview itself, not being at all stingy (to be on the safe side) and the manager and I had a nice raport and things went well. I had my second interview today and wore GE again, in the same fashion. She told me I was the only candidate she called back and there was just something about me, she couldn't get me out of her head. To cut the the chase: the job, she is MINE! So, I definitely recommend any job seekers to give this a shot. Now I just need a TAL oil that will help me stay employed.

    Milk Moon 2007

I spent six weeks yearning for the sweet, creamy goodness Milk Moon promised. It didn't deliver when I first sniffed the bottle--I got this sour buttermilk odor. But I tested a bit on the wrist and waited for it to work its magic. Two hours later, slightly older sour buttermilk. Pity, this was my very first Lunacy and I was so sure this would work, I've liked or loved most of what I've gotten from BPAL. Ah well, you can't win all the time.

    Jack

For me, Jack can be summed up in four words: hot, buttered pumpkin pie. This I love!

    Aunt Caroline's Joy Mojo

I could use some more joy in my life, so I decided to give this a go. Bottle: like the juiciest spiced orange, I can see why this would be joyful. Wet, on skin: mmm, the spices are becoming marinated in said juice with pleasing results. Dry: Mmmmm, this has developed into a zesty and sweet citrus loaf served with a side of fresh squeezed OJ. Four or so hours later: the juice is still there, but in a supporting role to a lovely cinnamony powdered sugar. I can't stop sniffing my wrist. I'm in a crisis at the moment and have yet to flip out. I must have a bottle.

    Phantom

Mmmmmmm, this is lovely. Ylang-ylang has long been my "sexy" scent and I love how it works with the dark musk. It seems to smell a bit different every time I sniff my wrist. Mysterious, alluring, slightly spicy with a hidden sweetness, one you would almost have to discover accidentally as you become more emeshed. There are many layers to be peeled back and experienced here. Like a certain man I wish I knew.
