    The Hamptons

I keep coming back to this one, even though it's discontinued and I know it'll only end in heartache when I run out of my imp. But there's juniper in here and a candy sweetness, and maybe it's just me but I get a little bit of the lab's ice note back there behind everything else. I really, really like this and will have to try to find some more!

    Cherokee Rose Single Note

Okay tbh as a massive Walking Dead fan I wanted to love, love, love this one, but it's less rose and a teeny bit of green and more lemon/Pine Sol on my skin. It's not an instant hate, but in the months since I've gotten I haven't reached for it all that much either. To the swap pile I suppose.

Dead Leaves, Red Musk & Neroli Hair Gloss

I love dead leaves and red musk, but didn't have any previous encounters with neroli. Citrus notes usually don't work on me, but I don't find the neroli in here objectionable at all. The neroli adds a little acridity and bitterness but overall this is a nice, soft scent on me and consoles me the rest of the year until fall comes around again.

    What's the best coconut blend?

I love, love, looooove Black Pearl, it's my ideal coconut. I need to hunt down some So Below because it sounds like it'd be right up my alley too.

    Spellbound

I like rose okay but all rose scents tend to smell the same to me. The red musk in this however gives it a lovely depth and really adds a lot to the blend. Definite keeper.

    Ghost Revelry

This is very pretty and light which I tend to love, although something about it when I first put it on reminds me of the White Rain hairspray my mom used to use when I was growing up in the 90s. There's something to be said for nostalgia though and overall this is lovely. I wish more of the rain and greenery came out but maybe I just need to stick it in my scent locket.

The Sailing Stones of Death Valley

This goes straight up Dial soap on me, which I guess isn't the worst thing this could morph into but I don't get any of the desert stones or plants. :/ I'll set it aside and revisit it again later before I decide to banish it to the swap pile.

    Strawberry Moon 2012

I love this one! It smells just like those hard strawberry candies with the soft middle so it's pretty nostalgic for me. <3

    Pink Snowballs

I have the 2012 version. I like rose as a note but in most cases, all rose blends tend to smell the same to me. Not so in this case! When I first put this on it was melted snow with some vanilla and the faintest bit of rose underneath, I liked it right away. As it dries the rose comes out a little more on my skin but it's still mostly that snow note I love so much. Really soft and pretty.

    Madagascan Vanilla Rum

In the bottle, I hate this. It's the same kind of buttery that made Sugar Cookie 2005 go completely wrong on me. But when I put this on my skin it does all the right things. It's beautiful vanilla with just a hint of warm booziness, and it's one of those rare oils that has enough throw that I can enjoy it wafting around without having to constantly sniff my wrists. Definitely a keeper.

    Faith

Oh Faith 2016, how I love thee! The sweetness in this reminds me a lot of Candy Phoenix, and I'm getting the cocoa butter underneath too. Then the violet is warm and delicious and this has a much better throw on me than a lot of other florals I've tried. I'm totally in love and will I definitely need more than just my decant!

Down the Rabbit Hole Atmosphere Spray

I got this as a sample and I like it but my impression of it is kinda weird. I get a little dirt, then corn cobs (really!), and then something sweet I can't quite put my finger on. I'll keep checking on it since it's gotten a little spice to it after I let it sit for a little while but so far I like it.

    Lady MacBeth

Oddly enough this one goes straight gumballs on me. I'm not mad at it at all but at the same time I wish I could find the wine and berries!
