Hi everyone! I'm new to BPAL and have become insanely addicted to it. Here is some stuff about me:

I live in Carrboro, NC, where I work as an archaeologist. I have an MA in Anthropology and two BAs: English and Anthropology. My specialty in archaeology is prehistoric NA artifacts in the Southeast. My specialty in English is creative writing (mostly literary short stories). I love science and the humanities equally.

My free time is made up of a lot of "journeys" or what I like to call the good-ol' fashioned tries". Most importantly, I'm on a weight loss/muscle building journey, a published author journey, and a creative branding journey. I love books, television, podcasts, video games, and almost all forms of media. I think I have a real consumption problem because I also love food and alcohol, shopping, and the Internet. I give myself a free pass on these things because I work outside all day and enjoy the woods immensely. In my free time I also try to write songs with my best friend who is the greatest jazz pianist in the world.

I have two kitties named Fritz and Wybie (Yes that is the one from Coraline!), and a boyfriend who works in a hospital ER. I make him wear all the tobacco scents from BPAL.

Favorite scent profiles from BPAL are the dark ones. I like Buried the best (go figure), but once in awhile delve into the vanillas and spices. Especially if it's a lipstick day.
