    In Templum Dei

I agree with Stellamaris, this is very much like Midninght Mass. Midnight Mass is slightly sweeter and prettier. In Templum Dei is a little woodier and the liquidambar lends a mild spiciness. Midnight Mass has been my number one incense blend Bpal from the start but, In Templum Dei is a very close runner-up. I am glad to have both.

    Lust

This is very 70's musk and patchouli, some say sexy, some not. For me, the sexy is the 70's part, the whole sex, drugs and rock n' roll gives it the reminiscence of youth. I think perhaps the older crowd finds it sexy and the younger crowd find it too much. It was nostalgia that brought me to Bpal, looking for a incense perfume oil on the internet. It's kind of funny finding Lust as a new favorite now, never ordering it, passing it over for others so many times. It is in the "Beloved Favorites" page on the Bpal website for good reason.

    Anne Bonny

I love Anne Bonny. This is very similar to Midnight Mass to me. Anne Bonny is slightly stronger and has more patchouli but the wonderful woodiness and frankincense is there. I actually thought I put on Midnight Mass by acident and had to double check the imp to make sure it was Anne Bonny. It is nice to know that if Midnight Mass is not available, since it usually only come out for the Yules, I can get me some Anne Bonny anytime. Who would have thought Anne Bonny would smell churchy.

    VILF

I picked up a nicely aged bottle on Ebay. I've been wanting this for a while but was afraid the leather would be too strong. I enjoyed the scent of Western Diamondback but it was too masculine for me to wear. VILF has the Eastern florals which do not stand out, they just balance out the masculinity of the leather. The leather is more of a brown leather than a black one. Once completely dry the woods, clove, musk and vanilla make this a very wearable leather blend for me. I am happy with my purchase especially since VILF has been out of stock at the lab for quite a while. I hope that does not mean it will be discontinued.
