    Dee

In vial: Peanut mixed with leather and wood with a mix of spices. Wet: Still pretty much the same as in the bottle. Dry: Peanut is gone, replaced by incense. Still a strong leather smell and wood coming through. Very masculine scent. Definitely one of my favourites.

    Jazz Funeral

In vial: Tangy rum and flowers. Wet: Mixed flowers in wet earth with a little rum and lime drizzled over. Dry: Muted floral scent with moss and dirt accompanying a vague bourbon smell. Very nice, but not as daring as I had hoped. Dissipates too quickly. Will need to try more of this to be sure.

Old Demons of the First Class

In vial: Musk, pepper and clove. Wet: More pepper and clove, but still heavy musk. Oppoponax, tonka and neroli come through. Dry: Woody spice blend mixed with musk and coumarin. Hint of neroli at the end. Another great masculine smell. I think it is rather sexy, though my wife still needs to rate it.

    Baron Samedi

In vial: Caramel and almonds. Wet: Amaretto. Dry: Burnt sugar, roasted almonds and smoked rum. One of my absolute favourites so far. Fantastic, sexy scent. My wife loves it on me.

    Highwayman

In vial: Gardenia, rose, vetiver. Wet: Vetiver, mixed floral and a hint of cinnamon and leather. Dry: Mixed floral, more cinnamon and leather. Dissipates quickly on my skin. My wife really smells the leather on me and thinks it's a sexy scent. Me, I'm on the fence.

    Anubis

In vial: Storax and lily of the valley. Wet: Mostly the lily. Dry: Slightly more herbal, with some myrrh but still too floral. Bit too feminine for me.
  7. In vial: Vanilla and tobacco. Wet: Lemon pledge. Dry: Vanilla air freshener with a hint of tobacco and woodchip. After a few hours: The unpleasant tone has faded and it's mostly smoke and vanilla. Great, but not for me. Not suited for my body chemistry it would seem. However it smells gorgeous on my beautiful wife -Bubastis- with the more masculine wood and tobacco smell being balanced by the strong vanilla scent to create a sultry perfume.

    Wings of Azrael

In vial: Violet and lilly, with a juniper tang and cypress/myrrh undertone. Wet: Lilly balanced by myrrh and cypress, with a slight juniper twang coming through. Dry: Flowers and myrrh. Normally I'm not a fan of floral scents, but the myrrh and cypress balance this one out. It's not a sexy or enticing smell, but it's soothing and ideal for work.

    Sin

In bottle: Patchouli and sandalwood first, amber second and only a bit of cinnamon. Wet: Pretty much the same, maybe with the amber coming through a little more. Dry: Sandalwood remains strongest with patchouli and amber evenly behind. Only a very slight hint of cinnamon. It's not really a typical male scent, but I think it works on me because of the sandalwood. No idea how long it will last, but it is one of the strongest smells I've tried so far.

    Ranger

In Bottle: Cologne with pine/birch forest, wet grass, juniper and patchouli. Wet: Still predominantly a pine cologne, but with a stronger grassy smell, heavier juniper scent and vague hints of leather. Dry: Better rounded, like a leather jacket stuffed with juniper moving through a pine forest with a wet moss floor. Unfortunately also a little soapy. Akin to Druid for me. Dissipates rather quickly on my skin. I'm in two minds about this one.

    Nyarlathotep

Didn't like it so much in the bottle, because I don't browse the Lab for "fresh" scents. Once dried on my skin however, it is indeed the incense that prevails and makes me smell of a ruined church overgrown with ivy. One of my favourites so far.

    Azathoth

In Vial: Vetiver, black amber and cedarwood equally. Wet: Confused, rather generic scent. Hard to pick out an ingredient. Dry: Still confused, but the cedarwood and vetiver does come through a little. Most of the BPAL oils dissipate rather quickly on my skin, but this one lingers. It's a little too intense and muddled, but after a while I sort of like its heady, smokey character. Actually wrote a song years ago named "Seething Nuclear Chaos". Do not know if it really fits the scent, but I like to think so http://voidwork.bandcamp.com/track/seething-nuclear-chaos
