    FOWYB

I have put off my review for a long while to see if this oil really is doing what I think it is. I had new problem neighbours at the apartment building I'm at a bit over a year ago. They are in the parking spot next to mine, and parked, I kid you not, within 6 inches of my parking spot, so close that my car door had to touch their car for me to be able to get in and out of my car. Well, maybe I was careless, but didn't realize DIRT on my car door had been transferring to their car. Because of this, they utterly freaked out, called the police on me, the building manager on me, and the insurance company on me saying I damaged their car. I took a close look and saw it really was just dirt that wipes off easily. I told the insurance company this, and even brought our building manager over to look. The building manager agreed with me they were crazy and possibly trying to use this as an excuse to commit insurance fraud, because even he could not see any damage to the other car. So after this all happened, I was so stressed out and annoyed, I discovered FOWYB on the TAL etsy site and immediately ordered a bottle. Anointed a piece of paper with their apartment number and car stall number, and froze it. I also walked by their apartment door and smeared some of the FOWYB oil on their door. Almost miraculously, they disappeared from next to my car (apparently they rented and moved to another stall). It's been about a year now and I haven't heard anything. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

    Showers of Gold

I just did a quick candle burning with this, the next day I spotted a $50 bill in a parking lot with no one around. Yay!

    Eloquentia IV

I dabbed Eloquentia on my throat today for a phone interview (because after 8 months I NEED a job damnit). I agree that it's not Charisma, but definitely I was able to explain my skills & experience and not trip over my words like I do in the past. (I am quite introverted, and have a tendency to kick myself after conversations thinking "I should have said this or that!" - I didn't have that feeling this time around) So I'd say it's effective. (also full disclosure I had Crown of Success on as well)

    Water of Notre Dame

I have no idea why... This blend is better than any sleep blend by bpal, heck better than Nocturne (TAL) at getting me to sleep.. And sleep, and sleep. I have a hard time getting myself out of bed even. I seriously just pass out. All that said, this is lovely and yes, floral aquatic.

    Abundance

I think this oil creates this nice flow of abundance around you. It's not an obvious in your face effect. But nice to have. You have to be open to this and take it as it comes though.

    Abundance

I posted in the TAL forums about this oil. I think I've used it twice on a candle, and more usually just dabbing a bit on my TAL: money draw bag. The first most obvious thing I noticed last year was a pear tree on our property. It was the craziest, most *abundant* amount of fruit we've ever gotten in a year... and largest fruits too. We had so much we ended up sharing a lot of them with other family and friends. The newest thing that just happened was when I dabbed a bit of it on a small green tealight a couple days ago (on a Sunday). I'm moving soon and just wanted to get some good positive vibes and flow going, and had a distinct "I don't want to run short of money/feel super broke" because of this upcoming move (which has been seeming to be more expensive than I initially thought). Well, Monday, I just got a free tea drink due to a contest winning piece my sister gave me. Today (Tuesday) started off with a product trade show at my workplace where I got some nice promotional freebies and snacks, but what impressed me was they had a bunch of prizes to be raffled off, but the lady overseeing everything just motioned to my friend and I and told us to pick one of the gift cards off the table! I ended up with a $10 Subway GC (which is good for a couple of lunches for me when I don't have any to pack). This evening I went into a Starbucks with a friend whom I was giving a ride home to... turned out the 2 staff on hand were friends of his so I ended up getting a free hot chocolate and was handed 3 of those Starbucks cookies (as they were going to throw them out at the end of the day)! Amazing!

    Jinx Removing

I just used this oil on a white tea light, and tonight is the night of a new moon where I am... it's a nice oil. First off, it's so minty, which I LOVE. The scent of it immediately made me think that this oil WAS going to wash away the negativity. I carved my name on the tealight, dabbed some oil on it, declared "Take negativity away from me" as I lit the candle and visualized this powerful beam of light on me quickly washing away icky bits on me and moving it so far away that I couldn't see them anymore. Almost immediately after (this only took a minute or two), I felt much lighter. I'm planning to shower now and put this oil on my chakra points, I assume it'll amplify the effect even more. Great oil. I got my imp from a decant circle so I think this will be a bottle buy in the future.

    Follow Me Boy

Very interesting... I suspect this oil morphs as it ages. I have several different imps of this. One is a normal yellowish oil, one is more orange, and one is a deep clear red. The newest one (pale yellow oil) is a fresh heady jasmine scent, a little powdery. It's a "pretty" old fashioned scent. The orange oil I can't put my finger on but there's a sharp note to it, the jasmine isn't so prominent, this other scent is.. kind of tangy and bitter, but still do have that floral side to it. The deep red oil I suspect is the oldest and has the least floral scent to it. It's kind of resin-y, less sharp... old leather kind of smell? Voodoo effect? I honestly do not know yet. I wore it once around a male friend who I had a history with. He kissed my hand and told me I was very attractive, but whether that is the effect of the oil or not, I can't say, because he's said similar compliments in the past.

    Peace

Got this in the mail as I came home from work fighting traffic, etc. I figured a dab wouldn't hurt and I wanted to try it out. I accidentally ended up dumping about 1/2 an imps worth on myself/the carpet. OOPS. However, I don't know what to say except I had an instant smile on my face. This stuff is bottled instant happiness. I should rephrase, instant calm zen happiness. Awesome stuff. I hesitated trying out Peace before because I am a White Light devotee and thought they served the same purpose, but now I understand the difference. Peace is to feel GOOD, and White Light (for me at least) is to calm the F*%k down when I'm in a horrible panic.

    High John the Conqueror

Sweet and fruity is what I get from this when I wear it.... however I don't care so much about the scent of this one... I NEED this oil. Whenever I wear it, I FEEL good, confident. My anxiety and little nagging worries seem not quite as big when I wear this. It lets me push them aside. I got this as a freebie imp from a forumite, and I think I need a bottle.

    Clarity

I love the lemony scent of Clarity, it does really complement what the oil is supposed to do. For effect, I had an issue I was upset and very confused about, as well as not being able to think straight about the matter. I put Clarity on my palms, rubbed them together, inhaled deeply and made myself think about the issue to see if I could get myself to think straight. The oil worked beautifully, I was able to think logically, make a mental list of things that I needed to sort out, and was no longer upset because I was able to sort out the issue.

    LaFlamme

For me, LaFlamme has this very heavy "perfumy" scent to it. Not my favourite in terms of smell as I tend to like lighter florals or citrus-y smells, but perfume isn't really the point of TAL oils... I tried this out on a boy and wow. He has some problems with his libido due to some medication he's on, and this oil gets him going a little. Which, while I was hoping for a lot more, still says a lot about this oil - that it can get some rise from him. I plan to try this out further next weekend when we'll be attending an event with a lot of girls in attendance who are interested in him. The boy's high in demand and a bit of a charmer, so I'd be curious if the oil keeps his focus on me. EDIT: Well, I wonder if I'm running into a "magically inoperable" situation now. LaFlamme used to work wonderfully to get the boy going, but now he's gotten a new full time job and is just exhausted all the time. He seems to still be cuddly and we make out a lot, but that's the extent of things before he tends to pass out.

    Blinding Glory of Love

I am not quite sure what to make of this yet. I've been doing a simple candle burning with this oil since I got asked out on a date recently by this sweet boy who I've known for about 6 months now. (He was previously attached and so was I. I was so very surprised when he asked me out - I was wearing Arabian Nights that evening!) Anyway I've been doing some candle burning every night since he asked me out, and going to do it for the full 7 days. But the boy and I had our first actual date last night, and I rubbed just a tiny bit of this oil on the palms and backs of my hands. It was a very pleasant date, nothing crazy. Since we'd been friends previously, it felt almost like how when we'd hang out just the 2 of us before as friends. The only difference was he was a bit more intimate this time. He'd keep grabbing and holding my hands when we had dinner, and kissing my hands. lol. The rest of the evening we just spent having a nice chat, and he'd kiss me on the cheek every so often, and when we parted for the evening just a few quick pecks on the lips. I honestly can't tell if the oil did anything, or if the boy was just being himself. He's got a bit of a reputation for being a bit smooth and "experienced". We're meeting again the day after tomorrow and I'll give the oil another go and update on what (if anything) happens. That said I'm not looking for sex right away, so maybe the oil is working on "bringing out romantic inclinations" and I don't know. Edit: THAT SAID. I got a phone call from him tonight which was pretty much a booty call. I'm not ready yet and I had WAY too much stuff/work to do and couldn't anyway. HMM. Edit #2: I went to the boy's place tonight for some alone time. Again I put some of this oil on my hands. We ended up just cuddling on the couch watching movies. He still kept kissing my hands. I don't know if the oil is not working on him, or if it is, but on the romantic side of things rather than sexual. Not that I'm complaining. I'm preferring that we get to really know each other and be comfortable first anyway. We talked after he first asked me out, and he told me he was looking for a relationship and not a "sex-based relationship". So perhaps since we both intend to try to build a solid relationship, the BGoL is working on the romantic aspects.

    Arabian Nights

Wow, this smells like a rosy sandalwood to me. Not really my type of perfume scent (I prefer fresh florals, etc), but it's a TAL oil, so scent isn't exactly the priority. Anyway I rubbed a tiny bit on my wrists, but mostly dabbed some behind my ears when I went out tonight to celebrate a friend's birthday at a local club. I don't know if it really worked as intended, but I felt GOOD, like confident. I did meet a few new people, but they were friends of friends, so maybe. The funny thing is a casual friend was also at the club (unexpectedly) who I randomly see at social events once every few months, and I have no idea if it was this oil or not, but he asked me out on a date! EDIT: I've used this oil a few more times and I'm starting to notice something - I think the oil takes away my tiredness and makes me animated and very lively and chatty. I guess you could say it brings charisma to the surface in social situations, and pretty much how I view use of this oil now. The tradeoff is though - I find that the next day I am TIRED. Dragging my heels tired. Which wouldn't surprise me too much as I've heard of tradeoffs with the use of some TAL oils.

    Baku

Baku doesn't smell all that pleasant to me, but not horridly offensive either. It is however, my most favourite sleep blend. I put it on, and it knocks me out. I find that when I have this on (I dab a bit under my nose), I sleep very well and wake up feeling rested. I love it!
