When your favorite GC blends are discontinued

Sad to see this one go... does anyone have any suggestions on something similar? I've got no ideas. Help! LOL -
In the bottle: This is a what I imagine a midnight rose garden to smell like in New Orleans. Humid & heady rose petals galore! Wet: Roses heated by humid air. It's intoxicating and heavy with the richness of amber in the background. This rose is filled with memories. Not the sort of rose you'd give to a lover, more like the sort of crimson rose rich with scent, but beginning to wilt around the edges of it's petals. This is the red rose resting upon a grave that's been untended. Dry down: The combination of roses & amber is completely amazing smelling! It almost has a sad & longing feeling to it. The roses are sweet, but still warm & covered in humid dew.. the amber adds depth and the musk is almost a little too much, but I'm hoping it burns off some. I'm liking it, although I'm generally not much for rose scents. 30 minutes: Dark heavy roses still and the amber is complimenting them so well. Fortunately for me the musk has mellowed quite a bit. This is one I'd have to apply sparsely. I can see it being cloying and totally too much if bathed in it. Conclusion: Dark, mysterious, intoxicating. This is a beautiful heady rose that speaks of another time long since forgotten. It's full of melancholy rememberance & although it comes on strong initially it mellows to a sweet somber rose rich with amber kissed petals. Rating 1-5 on my skin, this is a 4.5 .

In the bottle: Sweet & tangy. Curls of lime zest waft to the top. There's something soft & floral underneath, but the lime is putting it on the backburner. Wet: Fresh squeezed lime & jasmine. This is an unusual combo. I am loving it though. Dry down: Jasmine seems to be taking center stage with the soft powdery petals of lotus whispering in the background. The lime is still quite evident, but has mellowed quite a bit. 30 minutes: This is lovely. Over time it has just gotten more complex. The sweetness of jasmine is tempered by the tartness of the lime. Every so often the powdery smell of lotus sneaks up, but it's not overpowering at all. Conclusion: This is soft & feminine. Anyone who is leary of white florals ought to give it a try, because it's definately much different than any other white floral fragrance I've ever smelled. It's still going strong on me & smells very lovely. Something I will be wearing this summer often. Rating 1-5 on my skin, this is a 5.

In the bottle: Spicy. Maybe cinnamon? It's got the smell of spice & woods. Like an autumn day at noon. This is nice. Wet: Holy mother of ginger batman! This is all ginger & woods... cedar maybe? I'm beginning to get a bit of lemony pinesol scent. Dry down: PeeeU. This is not working with my chemistry at all. It's overpoweringly ginger & musky. Bleh. 30 minutes: Ok, I need to go wash this off. It's not working for me at all. How it could possibly get me in the mood is beyond me. I smell like an old cat lady. Mothball sweater and all. Conclusion: This didn't work for me. I started smelling like old cat lady & B.O. This seemed promising in the bottle, but my body chemistry did a number on it. This was not something I could use to invoke sexy thoughts. After trying to wash it off with little luck my husband caught a whiff of me and told me "That oil stinks." LOL Rating 1-5 on my skin, this is a 1.

In the bottle: Spicy booze with buttery vanilla undertones and cake. Hmmm... Wet: Rich & decadent whipped buttercream with LOTS of booze in it. Woowee this could definately help me convince Captain Jack Sparrow to come with me. LOL I'm intoxicating and delicious smelling. And now there are berries. Dry down: The booziness has mellowed out a bit and now it's rich whipped buttercream slathered with blackberry preserves. And again... cake! 30 minutes: Still going strong with the buttercream & blackberries. These aren't the early spring berries... these are fat, juicy and just about to fall off the bush rippened berries. Sweet, but with a little tartness. And the buttercream is rich and creamy. Every once in awhile I get a little waft of the bourbon, which gives it this richness. This is yummy. Conclusion: I smell like a very expensive dessert in some posh restaraunt. The kind any closet monster would chase after! Rating 1-5 on my skin, this is a 4.5 .

In the bottle: Crisp & damp herbs. Cool morning dew kissed evergreens and chilly air. Wet: This is the robust scent of Autumn trees. I'm getting wintergreen, pine & something like cinnamon. It's sweet, but subtle. Dry down: The bite of wintergreen has mellowed and now it's cool, airy & a little undertone of smokey. Almost like the scent of a woodburning stove in the evening mingling amongst the chilly air. Still smelling the herbs. They're fresh and crisp like they were just plucked from the damp earth. 30 minutes: Lovely subtle woodsy/herbal blend. It's light & airy, this has a very otherworldly feeling to it. This is not the masculine woodsy smell I initially expected. It's delightfully crisp & works very well with my body chemistry. Conclusion: I'm loving it. It reminds me of Autumn and being that Autumn is my favorite time of year... this is a winner for me. It's like walking amongst the forrest in the early morning just after it's rained. Everything is so fresh & crisp smelling. Rating 1-5 on my skin, this is a 5.

In the bottle: Sugary sweet lollies, hot melting butter & caramel apples. Wet: Fluffy pink cotton candy, carmel apples, hot melting butter & confectioners sugar on vanilla flavored funnel cake and some salt water taffy. Dry down: This is all cotton candy & vanilla on me. The funnel cake is a faint whisper in the background, but I can still smell the butter & sugar mixture waft to the forefront once in awhile. The saltwater taffy has disappeared and in it's place is the light smattering of salty french fries. And the caramel... yum! 30 minutes: Once this mingled with a little body heat it's all fluffy pink cotton candy, vanilla & caramel!! This is delicious! I don't consider myself a "foodie" scent sorta girl, but this is just so yummy on! My hubby says I smell like sticky sweets & good enough to eat. Mwahahaha! Conclusion: This is a deliciously sweet scent that reminds me of all those summers spent at the carnival with my cousins in Oregon! It's awesome! Rating 1-5 on my skin, this is a 5.
