This may be a silly question but I'm not sure where else to ask... I made a shipment on June 10th and I ordered through Paypal, and I got a confirmation from both paypal and bpal that my payment had been received. However, I just made a new one on July 12th and paypal said my payment was sent but I never got anything from BPAL. Should I be worried?

In the bottle: Light and soft. Sort of smells like lemon cream to me, but it's a soft citrus. Wet: The lemon picks up a little more tang, no more of the cream, but it's still not an acidic citrus. (Definitely lemon peel, not lemon) The other notes are blended very well and it's hard for me to pick out individual notes. It makes me feel like I'm sitting under tree on a summer's day just before noon. The sun isn't blazing but it's definitely there helping me to relax as I soak up the surroundings. Dry: That golden feel everyone has mentioned really comes out(mostly due to the subtle emergence of amber). The title is just perfect. It definitely feels like a radiant light (but completely different the sun...in spite of how I described it in the wet stage). The vanilla and nerolli have come out to play although neither is particularly strong. Very nicely blended...a happy and comforting scent.

Beginning: Gossamer is a great word do describe this. I also get a nice fruity scent out of it...it's not listed but that's the smell I get anyway. Light florals help to give it the gossamer feel. Later: Unfortunately it turns into dryer sheets for me. The fruit bit is completely gone. I even get a slightly bitter note in the background....probably my skin chemistry. Off to swaps!

In the beginning is was sort of citrus baby powder...not to my liking at all! Citrus replaced by a sharp floral as time goes on but it's still not a scent I like very much. Certainly not the sugary vanilla cake that some are mentioning...though I wish it was!

In the bottle: Very strong! Mostly floral...though I can't pick out the individual notes. It's the most like a "normal" perfume that I've ever smelled at BPAL. Much like a very wealthy woman. Fits the name. On: At first there's a fairly strong citrus base to the floral scent, but it fades away after a little while. Strong on the jasmine, a little less strong on the rose but still definitely there. So very not me but it's a strong and powerful scent, and I definitely could see it working for a lot of people.

The apricot smell in the imp faded very quickly once it was applied to my skin. I don't mind the orange scent but for some reason my skin makes it smell like there's a chemical undertone. Reading everyone else's reviews I was really pumped for this one...but something turns bad on me. I just can't figure out what. The main ingredients are usually fine on me. Edit: Apparently I'm a big liar and just didn't wait long enough. As time went on this turned very musky on me. Orange tinted musk!! Yummy! And no more chemical smell! I need to go take my imp out of the swap pile now.

In the bottle: Hello Gardenia! A very floral blend. Very pretty...not sure it's me. On me: Very pretty floral. Slightly aquatic as if the flowers are just floating on the surface of a pond. Nice, but not me.

I'm not a sandalwood fan, but something about this scent changes that for me. The musk comes out very strong on me and blends wonderfully with the sandalwood. It's a mature scent and an intoxicating one. I personally couldn't pull off wearing it on a daily basis but one special occasions this would be wonderful. I really love how deep the musk is in this. And I realize there's some vanilla in it too, but not very strong.

Really sums up spring for me. It's light, and to me it's more green than floral but the floral is there. It's fairly girly but then...spring and young girls seem to go hand in hand. Not completely me but I do like the scent. I only have a half imp anyway so I'll be sure to save it for special occasions! Perfect example of spring!

In the bottle: At the first second it smelled exactly like a fig newton (ok, basically just fig) and then the mandarin came out...bright yet mature. Yummy! Wet: Mostly mandarin, but still some fig in the background. Dry: A lovely combination of the two main ingredients, it doesn't have a lot of throw though so I'll have to slather, but that's fine with me! Also some hint of spices in there...they combine really well with the fig. Was thinking I probably wasn't going to like this but boy was I wrong!

In the bottle: Honeysuckle...and what I'm pretty sure must be the sweet pea. Seems a bit "little girl" for me. Then again Juliet was 14, or something like that. Wet/Dry: Pretty much the same. Honeysuckle and sweet pea. It's a nice scent but seems too young for me to use personally. A perfect fit, however, for Juliet.

In the bottle: Tropical with a citrus edge. Wet: It actually almost completely disappears when it hits my skin, not a good sign. Faint traces of orange but really most of the scent is gone...I put on a fair amount too. In spite of having virtually no scent, and what little there is being pretty much straight orange, there's also a sort of rubbery undertone. This scent really doesn't like me! So odd, never had this happen before.

In the bottle: Honey and a somewhat fake vanilla smell. Not the kind of vanilla I'm used to at all! Very sugary. Wet: Very sweet. I can smell the vanilla and honey. I can more feel the amber than smell it. But it feels like there's another sweet note in there that I simply can't identify. Is there maybe some almond in this? Cause I get an almond note...but my nose is usually way off anyway. Dry: The best way I can think of to describe this scent is to say that I smell like a sugar cookie. Needles to say it's a very yummy scent but I'm torn as whether I personally want to smell like that. I think I'll have to keep the imp and try it at least once more before I decide.

A frimp from the lab, and my first foody scent! Here we go... At first I really loved this...boozy creamy foody goodness! But as it dried down it turned into a Yankee Christmas candle. I wanted to like this so much and the first few minutes were absolute heaven but now...*sigh*

In the bottle: Actually smells like my dryer sheets...and while I actually love the scent of my dryer sheets, my clothes will already smell like that so I don't need to smell like it myself. But I'm sure it'll change once it's on my skin! Refreshing scent though but cold. Wet: I can smell the dandelion some people have mentioned. Aquatic but still smells a bit too much like my dryer sheets. This is not the generic dryer sheet scent that people complain about but my scented sheets...which I do think are made to smell aquatic so that would explain the similarity. It is a nice scent but once again I'm not sure I want to personally smell like that. Dry: It really is a nice scent, and fits the description to a T, but I'm stil caught over the fact that it smells like my laundry. I think I may keep the imp but not go for a bottle.

In the bottle: Juicy carnation. The juicy bit is clearly coming from the plum. Not to much fo the musk. Actually a bit lighter than I was expecting which is kind of nice. Gives it that innocent feel everyone keeps mentioning. Wet: Man does the spicy edge come out! I'm actually having trouble picking out the individual notes which I think is because I'm not really used to any of the notes. Spicy fruit with a hint of floral though...so it hits all the ingredients. Very unique. Dry: A lot of spice with musk in the background. The plum seems to fade. The spice actually reminds of cinnamon even though I know it's not. Not my kind of scent really but I like it. For me it's really more of a night scent. I think I'll keep the imp and try it again. I may have to buy a bottle for those fun nights out!

A frimp from the lab! In the bottle: Definitely rose. Not as overwhleming as rose can be though...perhaps it's because it's white rose? Definitely something more airy and even younger than normal rose. Wet: Still mostly rose. A softer rose but all rose none the less. I'm starting to think my skin might just amp rose. Dry: Still all rose on me. Rather discouraging because the other reviews make it sound so lovely. Curse my skin!

In the bottle: Light, pretty, vaguely aquatic. Also a slight citrus bite to it. I like it a lot. Smells just like it should (based on the name). Wet: Comes off a bit more floral (not sure which flower though, smells familiar but I cna't place it). The citrus went a bit chemically on me, which I think is just my normal skin chemistry...lemon always turns bad. Dry: Alas, my skin chemistry hates me. What smelled so beautiful in the bottle smells vile on my skin. I have no doubt this would smell delicious on someone else but the fact that my skin hates lemon has now turned this into a bitter, chemical cleaner smell.

Bottle: Oddly not at fruity as I expected. It has an incense note that I simply can't explain. Sort of spicy but without any warmth. Not what I expected. Wet: Some fruits now coming out to play although it's hard for me to identify any individual fruits. The rose too is coming out to play. I don't particularly feel like it's a garden smell, however. More like a zesty upper-class british woman. Probably makes no sense at all but that's what I feel like. Almost a classic perfume (probably the rose which is starting to play a large role) and the fact that the unique fruit blend gives it a bigger punch. Dry: Spicy rose. Not bad but I was hoping for something mroe complex. Probably just my skin chemistry though. I'm not a huge rose fan though so I think I'll pass. Oh, and a slight wood undertone! That bits nice but I really have to get my nose close to it to smell it.
-
In the bottle: At first I got a whiff of grass? But then it quickly dissolved into just spices. Wet: Straight cinnamon. Hoping this will dry down into something a bit more complex. Dry: Some amber in the background but mostly the cinnamon just overwhelms everything. I like cinnamon but right now I smell like a stick of Big Red.

In the bottle: Delicate and light with a hint of fruit...I know it's pear but it actually reminds me of apple crisp. Wet: The same plus some extra floral elements. Really fits it's namesake well. There's something almost ethereal about it. Dry: It's a very pretty scent. Femine but not too girly. The elements are blending so well that I'm having trouble picking out any individual notes. It's nice but something about it just isn't me.

A generous frimp from the lab! In the bottle: Strong floral scent, mostly lily. Wet: There's something in there with a tang that I just can't place. Otherwise it's very floral. Lily dominates but the rose and gerenium is definitely there. Very good throw. Dry: The flowers seem to be in constant play, sometimes blending, sometimes standing out individually. The throw has died down a bit but the scent is very nice. It's just not a "me" scent. I could definitely see some of my friends wearing it though. I do like it.

In the bottle: Very fresh, aquatic and green apple. Smells a bit like a green apple candy. Wet: Still very fresh, almost like stepping out of the shower. Green apple, but not overpowering. Very light. Mint starting to come out as well. Dry: Fades fairly quickly on me. The mint comes out more and the apple fades. A nice clean refreshing scent. Overall: I really like the scent. It's just not something I want to smell like though. I feel like it would be better as a refreshing bubble bath...or something like that. Nice scent just doesn't say 'perfume' to me. But it would be wonderful for a hot, muggy day.

In the bottle: Floral, a little musk, and a little sandalwood. Not bad but I have a feeling it'll morph on my skin. Wet: Floral but something else in there...something green? Lemon verbena I can smell, I'm not sure what it is but there's something lemony so that must be it...or it could just be plain lemon. It just smells slightly different than straight lemon. I dunno, citrus anyway. Just makes it rather tangy. I'm starting to think I amp lemon. Dry: Lemon dies down, and the vanilla starts to take over making it a much nicer and creamier smell. I'm liking it so much more now, although I'm not sure I like it anough to keep. Certainly got softer but it's still a mature floral (white floral). And the vanilla/musk is yummy. But there remains a slight tangy undernote. I will keep it for now and give it another try before I completely decide.

In the bottle: Mostly lemon with some rose underneath. No apple. Wet: Smells like lemon cleaner. Not pine-sol, it's more sour than that. Something with lemon and chemicals. Still no sign of the apple. Dry: Roses come out making it less sour, but there's still something bitter and slightly chemically to it. Still can't find the apple. Swapping.
