    Yog-Sothoth

wow, the scent of air and darkness indeed. i'm not sure what's in it, but it smells clean and almost glittery (how? i'd dearly love to know, or i'd settle for a second bottle of this - if this wasn't a limited edition, it would make fabulous linen spray.

    Cthulhu

a lot like oceanus by the body shop, but darker and more masculine. this would be fabulous on a man just come out of the shower or even better, from the beach. if only my boyfriend didn't refuse point-blank to even try bpal... still, the name alone is enough to have me hoarding it. if it weren't so hard to find, i'd make a spray of it so all my stuffed cthulhu toys could smell of it too

    The Peacock Queen

i snagged a bottle of this on ebay, as one of my first bpal oils- rose is one of my favourite scents, so surely this would work on me, right? wrong. it's lovely and rosy in the bottle, but once it hits my skin, i get a strong whiff of cabbage under the rose. and it doesn't go away. the hope that it's just me vanishes after my mother quietly discreetly mentions two better ways to cook the stuff than boiling it to death :/ some days, i hate my skin chemistry.

    Chiroptera

in the bottle: generic floral. wet: lemon balm, flowers... reminds me of walking thruogh a garden after tea. dry: lemon balm, soap, and the elusive headache note- i still haven't worked out what it is yet, but if i don't wash it off as soon as i sniff it, i'm useless for the rest of the day. i really wanted to like this, but off to the swap pile it goes :/

oh, this is gorgeous. not as overpowering as regan, but sweet and lasting- a very 'nice girl' scent, and one i could quite happily wear most days. sadly, this was one of the imps i tried on my mum, and she liked it so much i gave her the imp and a promise of a bottle in my next lab order. at least i have someone to split orders with now

    Belladonna

this was one of my first imps, but when i opened it, all i could smell was head lice treatment once on, i got a faint note of angelica, but not enough to make up for the nit shampoo smell. i think this one's off to the frimp pile, and i sincerely hope it works better on whoever gets it...
