When this first arrived I wasn't that thrilled. It was a blind buy and I generally love red musk scents and those that are similar. I put it in my let age pile and just returned to it tonight. After just 2, almost 3, months I can already tell a difference. The saffron and oudh have really rounded out the burgundy musk and now it is reminding me of a slightly stronger, less sweet Scherezade. The burgundy musk is reminding me of the red musk note in Red Lace. I think that I am going to set it back to age some more because if it is this good after just a couple of months it will be awesome in another 6 or so.... if I can wait that long.

I usually don't comment on reviews but I just had to with this one. I'm not great at describing scents but I will give it a go. While looking at the notes I wasn't sure that this one would work for me. However, after watching the movie and reading a few reviews back in mid November I decided to go for it. I absolutely love it and find it to be very wearable. My mom especially has a hard time with most of my bpal choices and this is one she hasn't complained about when I go to visit. The scent itself is a really complex blend. I was afraid that it would be too floral for my liking but it is perfect. The smoky plum musk and black amber round the scent off and turn it into a dark seductive powerful scent. I have worn it to my past 2 surgeries because the imagery it invokes in me helps bring my mind to a place that I feel I can get through anything. I will definitely be buying back ups.

Bottle: LXXII Though it isn't a scent I would normally go for this one is really nice. I'm not good at picking out the individual notes hut this is a very warm scent. It reminds me of the scent that lingered in the air when I worked as a massage therapist at an Aveda spa. Warm and a bit green (but not sharp).
