    Monster Bait: Ventriloquist Dummy

In the bottle it reminds me a little of what marionette building would smell like if you removed all the toxic chemicals, the costic liquids, and that warehouse smell. Then added that funny smell you get when eating a candied fruit in that same environment. Slightly sweet, and very hard to place but it seems to involved melted plastic. O_o Wet: brown sugar and warm spices. I'm not getting the wood yet which is interesting because normally I dry things out instantly. Luperci '06 turns to completely wonderful brittle mossy super masculine love. And anything with anything that has that slightly woodsy bitter smell to it turns heavily and pronounced. Hearth also smells TERRIBLE on me. It smelled like burnt toast on me. Yet somehow I can smell the hazelnut in full force on this one. I can even smell the apricot now. Though that isn't as suprising. Apricot sticks to me like glue. March Hare lasts literally for days. Dry: Now I can smell that woodish smell. The apricot is still barely there in the background with a lot of spice. It's like it's dried apricot though, not a jam or a fresh fruit. I really like this smell. It's very neutral though at the moment. Not super feminine or masculine and it doesn't even smell like a person smell. It's more like the way a room might smell. It's beautiful.

    Monster Bait: Tokyo Stomp

I love this one. It stays forever and the mint is extremely strong. In the bottle:smells like a thin mint in the bottle. Wet: Menthol. Not like candied mint, or an altoid. This smells like pure menthol and goes straight up my nose and hits the back of my brain. But there is a sweetness after that's just wonderful. Dry/after: It just keeps getting more blended. If I take a deep breath of it it almost has the same effects as concentration except with a calmer feel. Like compairing the jolt from coffee caffine to tea caffine with tokyo stomp being the tea. The vanilla is more identifiable as vanilla the farther away I smell it from. My boy friend first thought it was those overly sugary vanilla cupcakes. And I could smell that too if I held my wrists as far away as possible. But up close something about that menthol smell made it almost smell like chocolate. Really a wonderful smell. If I were to liken this to a candy it'd be a peppermint humbug. You think it's sharp/cold for a second, then you realize it's sweet/warm and suddenly it dawns on you that it's somehow both at the same time.

    Monster Bait: Underpants

MONSTER BAIT: UNDERPANTS Who doesn't want a monster in their pants? Sexy sugar-smeared saffron sandalwood over lickable vanilla cream with a splash of butter rum. This bit of cheekiness inspired by the mods on bpal.org! I've never done this before... Am I really the first to have tried this? I got a bottle at the store yesterday. In bottle: It's overpoweringly sweet. But in a good way. It highly reminds me of Miskatonic, with that drifting caramel tone that's both sweet and deep at the same time. Wet: Surprisingly close to how it smelled in the bottle. It started to dry out almost immediately and is holding on to that creamy dark sweetness. It's starting to smell more like a really expensive candy. After about half an hour: Completely dried out on me. I've noticed a lot of things do though. Even though I'm pretty sure this doesn't have parchment in it I'm starting to smell it anyway. It's like Miskatonic's twin sister on me. Slightly more dry and a bit more feminine and light. Though it's still a very deep smell. I don't think I'm going to need to apply much of this one for a strong effect. It also has a pretty good throw range. Its lost a lot of the candy smell and feel that it had before and now it's more like only the vaguest idea of caramel is left. Leaving in its wake a very soft almost dusty smell. With some of the undertones I'm starting to wonder if it has coffee in it. Its got that same little sensation I also got from Mata Hari and that's the signature thing that reminds me of Miskatonic as well. I think the best word to describe this scent would be rich, followed in a close second by luscious. It's not all that foody anymore but it almost makes me want to eat my own wrist. I wouldn't really call this a plain smell it's more as if the component parts of it are so alive with color and depth that there don't need to be many of them for it to blend into this amazing scent. (Mods, please add description. I couldn't find one. Thank you in advance.) ETA description - clover
