    Lemon, Lemon, Lemony Goodness

You can actually still order that one from Starring! Fragrances - it's in their 'Single Note Scent-sation' section - in the 'Fruit Stand' collection. You can order it here Bones Trombone is probably the closest to a lemon curd BPAL that I can recall, although it does have other notes in there along with the lemon.. it's very yummy. Lolita was super-lemon on my skin.. but it's lemon verbena rather than the sweet type of lemon I think you're looking for. You're such a lifesaver! Omigosh, buying some right now. Thankyouthankyouthankyou! Also, I am getting a decant of Bones Trombone. I'm super excited!

    Lemon, Lemon, Lemony Goodness

My roommate got an AWESOME scent in a PIF pack today that wasn't a BPAL oil. It's Lemon Sugar from Starring...! Fragrances. It smells exactly how Lemon curd smells, right when you pop open the jar. That fresh, sweet, sugary smell with a Lemon twang. Absolutely delicious. Too bad I can't find the smell anywhere, so this imp will have to suffice for now. So if anyone knows of a BPAL that smells like Lemon curd, let me know. I'm desperate to replicate this delightful imp.

After all, they're really hard to replicate without smelling too chemical-y. And if anyone knows of a BPAL that smells like lemon curd, let me know. I'm desperate to replicate this delightful imp.

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

Alright, I have this Bath and Body works lotion that I adore. It's the aromatherapy collection, and it's called Sensual. The notes are black currant absolute and vanilla. I thought about the body spray, but it just smells watered down and icky. I would love to find a BPAL that smells similar. Anyone have any idea what that would be? ETA: Some of the other notes seem to be patchouli, lemon peel, and cucumber.

    Azathoth

This was a frimp in a lab order, and I have to say...I'm glad I didn't purchase it. It reminds me VERY strongly of a marinade I use for chicken and my roommate immediately said "beef jerky." I have to agree. I honestly don't know what hits me in this oil, but it gives me a really visceral, negative reaction. I tried it on my skin after reading the reviews, hoping it would change, but it was so strong and so uncomfortable for me that I had to wash it off. I wish this had worked. Alas, into the swap pile it goes.

    Roses, Pearls, and Diamonds

At first, I was worried about this one. I'm not usually a big fan of rose scents, since my skin amps them up and turns them soapy and powdery. This is nice, however. I can get the coconut just hovering in the background and the orris kind of grounding the rose a little bit. It's very light, though, and I didn't notice any throw on me at all. I think this will have to be a linen spray for me.

    Delphi

This is scent that I received from Rhetoricians. In the bottle: Whoa! Talk about honey. I love honey notes, normally, but this was super sweet honey, and rich wine. I was a little hesitant, but I gave it a shot. On me: This has improved a whole heck of a lot. The honey has mellowed out. It's still there, and it's still sweet, but it's not nearly as overwhelming as when I first took a whiff. It kind of serves as a sweet backdrop for the delightful incense and bay. This is woodsy and pretty. After more time: It's turned a little more powdery, but the base scent is still the same as when I'd applied it. It's also getting a bit of a soapy edge to it, but nothing that isn't working. All in all: Not bad. It's not something I'll wear everyday. Maybe when I'm feeling pretty and golden and spoiled.
