In bottle: Mostly getting lemon and white mint with maybe a hint of absinthe? I don't really know as I haven't yet tried any scents with absinthe. But whatever it is it smells a little boozy. wet: I'm still getting lemon more than anything, but there's a hint of the vanilla now and a little bit of mint. It's a lovely combination dry down: Now the sharpness of the lemon has faded into the background and it is predominantly bourbon vanilla and white chocolate. Sweet without being overpowering. This is one of my new favorites! I love that it's light enough to wear during this time of year and that it changes so much over time. It's a very light, sweet airy scent to me. Love it!

In bottle: mostly Jamaican rum and black cherry coming through. It smells a little overpowering at first, but once I put it on it calmed down and let some of the other notes through. wet: I see what everyone is talking about when they say that it's "fizzy" I really get that. It smells just like a yummy, fruity, girly drink at a Tiki bar should. I still get a lot of the rum and cherry, but now I am also getting hints of the orange water and the almond liquor. Still no sign of the sugar syrup or the vodka. Not really getting the lime peel either. dry: Now the boozes have kind of faded to the background and the sugar syrup comes out to play! It melds nicely with the remnants of the rum and fruit. Overall I came to like this scent a lot more after I wore it. Slightly overpowering in the bottle, but actually quite lovely. A perfect scent for the summer.

This was the very first BPAL scent that I ever tried, and it got me hooked! In the Imp: The notes that leap out at me the most are the golden rum, apricot liquor and the grapefruit. It smells fruity with that hint of oozy sweetness from the rum. Wet: First thing I noticed is that the ginger and brandy get kicked up a notch, but the apricot liquor, grapefruit and golden rum are still just as present. It smells syrupy and boozy with just a hint of sweet tartness from the fruit. Dry: The fruits back down a little, leaving a wonderfully warm, boozy glow. I happen to love the golden rum, and there is just enough residual fruitiness to balance it out perfectly. Love it! I personally like it at all three stages, although my favorite is the drydown stage. One of my absolute favorites!
