No description available Dark mud with pools of still, green water. The smell of live mosses and full bodied florals are the heaviest notes in this one. It carried well, one little spritz on a sofa pillow made the whole room smell for two days. Even with the strength it wasn't overpowering even freshly sprayed. I hope this goes to production because I wouldn't mind my living room or office smelling this way all the time. And my squirt is nearly empty, don't make me wait to long for a new fix.
-
Not a fan of this one. It has a bitter powder thing going on that just makes me want to blow my nose. I totally agree with Tawaen's "ugh!". Thankfully I sprayed a bath mat that I could toss in the wash so I didn't end up sneezing every time I walked into the bathroom.

Wet it was strong on the spice. warm and sweet with a barely there hint of the leather. As it dried though the leather came out to play. Hot, sexy, spicy, sweet, leather. I want to just roll around in this scent. Even my husband who is notorious for his dislike or indifference to perfumes said "That's not bad". Then proceeded to sniff my wrist a couple more times before confirming that he didn't mind that one at all.
-
It started with a nice clean musky floral, after drydown though it turned in to death by primrose and jasmine. So many wonderful scents ruined by what my body does to those notes. Why oh why does my chemistry hate so many of the florals I love out of the imp?

Phoenix Steamworks

For the first 30min. or so I,t was a light incense with that sharper metal Scent I love. Unfortunately I started amping the incense and it overwhelmed all the other more complex notes. I had planned on trying it on my husband because I suspect he would smell fantastic in it, however he started sneezing the minute I got near him with the imp. *sigh* -
When I first opened the imp and put it on I thought I was going to be in love. Soft flowers and night in early summer. Sadly as it dried it turned to powdery grandma. Not baby powder but the nose tickling body powder older southern ladies still coat themselves in. If only it had stayed that first flush of cool flowers.

It smells like an old fashioned chest rub my grandmother would smear on me when I was sick as a child. Pine tar and camphor. On one hand it reminds me of her taking care of me as a child, on the other... Phew! Sorry bpal this one is not a winner for me.

I'm looking for something for my husband. De Sade is delicious on him but all I have is a tiny imp. He wears dkny be delicious ( the green one) but he finds it too sharp sometimes. Any suggestions on similar scents? He also doesn't alter scents much so good out of the bottle is usually good on him. He has a tendency to be picky about scents so we have to experiment a lot. -
I agree with all the people who say GREEN! Mostly evergreen and herbs with a little something almost like eucalyptus giving it a cold tone.
-
I get slightly sweet aquatics. Pleasant but not my thing. However on my husband its warm wood and smoke and smells wonderful.
-
I need to learn to avoid Apricot. I know it doesn't work on me and tried this any way. Unfortunately my right wrist now smells like a cheap toilet deodorizer cake. I had hoped the musk would be the stronger note on me but no. One for the swaps bin.

In the imp and wet- Super sweet and strangely artificial smelling. On dry down- Becomes a wonderfully spicy, honeyed floral. There's just enough jasmine to give it a vaguely fresh floral smell and the cinnamon makes it smell warm and inviting. A sexy soft scent.
-
In the imp- and wet on my skin the lavender and eucalyptus mix into camphor. It was terrible. I waited it out a few minutes though and on dry down it faded into soft licorice. I don't know if it will help my dreams because other wise this baby goes in the swaps.

Revenge, at first though sweet, Bitter ere long back on itself recoils. Author: John Milton Source: Paradise Lost (bk. IX, l. 171) To me this quote exemplifies this scent. It starts very sweet and boozy, like red wine or dark berries. After a few minutes I could smell subtle bitter green or a smokey dark incense under that sweet top note. The wine and fruit stayed dominant with that touch of dark bitter hiding under the surface. This scent makes me think of a woman's revenge. I like it and I usually don't care for boozy notes. I hope they give us some big bottles to order even though I think it would be a scent that might make some nervous.

Inspired by and created for my beloved Tedwin: my eternal, beautiful, wicked Dorian Gray. Refined, elegant, and lovely, with a noble bearing and seemingly gentle air. This blend is an artful deception: a sweet gilded blossom lying over a twisted and corrupted core. A Victorian fougere with three pale musks and dark, sugared vanilla tea. Sadly as much as I want this to work I have just reminded my self why I didn't like this the first time I tried it. As soon as I put it on it becomes lemon furniture polish on my skin. After a while the vanilla comes out a bit but the furniture polish smell is still overwhelming.
