    Cthulhu

In Bottle: Very wet and green. Sort of like the sea, a bit floral initially. On my partner: like disinfectant soap, that sort of smell... It mellows and becomes more floral. On me: Citrus, slightly sweet. It does make me think of soap but not as much as on my partner. 1 hour later on my partner: KFC disinfectant. Hmmmm. He said he would probably still wear it haha! 1 hour later on me: Much less soap, more like the ocean in terms to that salty air smell but sweet. It fades really quickly on me-- probably a good thing. I did get KFC wipes vibes for a bit too. I don't think I would ever wear it but my partner is happy about having the character scent around. We purchased both an imp and a bottle-- will see how the bottle ages.

    The Ifrit

Yep, reminds me of the dessert! On my boyfriend it smells quite lovely without being too musky or spicy. It's exactly what he wanted and he's happy with it. I find him wearing it more in winter.

    Mr. Ibis

It is very light. It does remind me of paper (papyrus) and a little musky but overall it's a very soft scent. My boyfriend is very happy with it on him and I think it represents the character wonderfully. I personally prefer less over-powering musk scents so I don't mind it.

    Narr

Bottle: Super rich, warm vanilla fig cake. There's something like citrus on my nose. On: Sweet, nutty, warm Dry: Super sweet milk-- I know it sounds strange but it makes me think of warm milk with lots of honey. I'm getting a lot of sweetness on me. 30 Mins: A little less sweet, more nutty. Definitely getting some sort of buttercream here and still a very warm scent with that citrus musk note again. Much later: The ambrette seed comes through and lingers at the end, which on my skin and nose, to me smells like nutty, citrus musk. It's not unpleasant but I don't know if it's for me. I think this would make a lovely winter scent. Honestly I am really pleased to have a foody Fool scent and the lingering ambrette note works well to stop it from being cloying and too sweet for too long. Worth a shot if you like sweet food scents.

    Pumpkin Spice Perversion

Bottle: Smells like regular Perversion with some extra spices underlining. On: I'm getting more spice, like cloves and cinnamon coming through on top of Perversion (which has always been a lovely sweet tobacco on me) 30 mins later: Spices were short lived which is a shame and normal Perversion comes out over the top. Like other reviewers its definitely more Perversion than Pumpkin Spice. I'm going to keep it because Perversion is one of my all time favorites but wished I gotten a bottle of normal Pumpkin Spice to layer. I think I actually prefer normal Perversion over Pumpkin Spice Perversion though (at least on me).

    Tweedledum

Bottle: Green mango, sweet Wet: Like bubblegum mango 10 Minutes: Definitely more green mango, and I get a bit of green tea. Patchouli just wafts in the background and fig adds a subtle sweetness to it. Definitely not too sweet or floral but quiet effeminate at the same time. Dry down: More patchouli I think-- that wet earth smell? With a touch of sweetness still and green mango. Maybe even more green tea here. It's quite a nice mature effeminate scent. I don't know if I will be wearing this one too often, but I could see myself enjoying this one a lot in summer.

    Absinthe

Wet: Anise. Haha On: definitely gives off the scent of Absinthe Drydown: Annnnd it's still there! Just settled and more wearable, definitely a whiff of cirrus at the end (but in the barest way). Lovely
  8. follis

    Rubber Poop

Wet: Artificial chocolate, or like cocoa power. Something like a chocolate spread but not a block... Definitely a great comparison of Rubber Poop. On: Less artificial and more warmth to it, sort of like a hot chocolate? I know I keep using food comparisons but that is what it makes me think of haha! Drydown: It's really quite a lovely warm chocolate scent! Officially mocha and wonderful to wear.

    High-Strung Daisies

Floral scents tend not to work on me but it was worth a try! Wet: Sugary floral soap On: Still soapy, but a bit of warmth in the back of the nose (pepper apparently). Drydown: Hmm like bubblegum now that's interesting. Definitely not for me but might make a nice girly scent
  10. follis

'Tis The Voice Of The Lobster

Wet: ...Like a woody beach? On: Woah, a mix of things here that I can't quite put my nose on. "Musky weird base over..." is definitely a good description Drydown: Like sweet lacquer on me It is a bit cloying unfortunately. Will need to pass it on

    Perversion

Perversion, you are a delight!!! I received this as an imp in a mix of foodie/girly scents next to some masculine scents thanks to the boyfriend, and figured I'd might as well smell the imp... and oh wow! Wet: Very sweet On: less sweet, more warmth, something very masculine about it and similar to rum Dry: Delicious warm vanilla musk. Thankfully for me I get more of the tonka over the tobacco so it comes out just beautiful and earthy, like a sweet tobacco. Definitely a fantastic androgynous scent <3 I totally purchased a bottle! Update: Tried this scent on my boyfriend and it came out as sickly sweet and floral on him. Luckily for me I get to keep the whole bottle It's absolutely one of my favorite scents from BPAL and the bottle version smells just as lovely.

    O

O is unfortunately Oh No for me to begin with... it does mellow out but it might be my skin chemistry. Wet: It might be the amber but it smells a bit like medicinal cherry on my nose. On: Something about it just smells a bit cloying on me. I personally think it's because this is my first amber scent, and well, within reason it might be because amber doesn't work for me (as I now know). It does however... Dry: ...mellow out to a nice honey vanilla scent which is wearable and fortunately I am good with foody scents. Unfortunately not for me but will work well for a friend

    Bast

I got mine through Geeks Doing Good! In bottle sniff: Soapy... Uhoh I tend not to do well with soapy scents On wet: Floral, surprisingly minty and actually slightly tingly on my skin Dry: Slightly musty floral. And something else which to me is like a zest but not lemon and now vanilla 1 hour later: No more floral, slightly musty vanilla. 2nd try: I didn't get the tingly this time, but still had that scent of 'freshly picked warmed from the sun' yuzu/mandarin citrus, which I can only think must be what other people are describing as leather. On me it mellows out to be quite a fantastic scent, one that I think fits Bast perfectly and thankfully smells fantastic on me. Love it

    The Apple of Sodom

The Apple of Sodom (imp) Wet: Tart green apple, like a freshly cut granny smith with something slightly floral, maybe a "fake" apple smell almost Dry/30 mins later: Slightly sour, floral green apple. I'm not sure if I'm getting the ash, but maybe the sweetness of the apple overpowers it. I will probably give this away
  15. follis

    White Rabbit

IMP: Floral and a tad medicinal. Must be the tea or something... On: Very floral/tea smelling. Tea scents must not go very well on me, or at least I'm not a fan. It's very pretty though and I don't seem to be getting a headache from it, like I usually do. Gradually becomes sweeter and less floral-- more tea. It feels warm. Dry down: The combination of "ingredients" in this perfume actually work very well together. I think I'm getting a milky tea at this point-- still very warm-- I can't work out what's making it smell "warm"... it's not "nutty" but it's something similar to that. I like it but I don't think I'll purchase a big bottle-- Will definitely be using up the imp though. I can't seem to pick the smell of linen...
