    Scarecrow

Smells like dry golden men's cologne. Mental image description is accurate however a little more Mad Max in my head.. I can pick out a bit of ylang ylang in there like a previous poster said. Totally arid fields baking in the sun!

    Recommend for fruity floral?

Hi! Josie from The District is a simple combination of peach and magnolia. Heady and sweet. you only need a small amount and it warms nicely!

    Pumpkin Cheesecake

Wow.. true to description. Got a sniffie of this and attempted to squeeze a little onto my skin.. creammmmmy, sugary, pumpkin, syupy. Yum. Thankfully I tend towards spicier earthier sweetness (samhain, hetairae etc). If I was a true foodie smell addict, I'd be in a terrible furvor right now desperately searching for a bottle.

    All Souls

Mmmm.. Maybe because this is aged it smells a bit sweeter than it would have in 2007? Amber and frankincense incense with sugary cakes and dried fruits. Exactly as described. Warm, beautiful, and ethereal. I really like this one. Very calming and dreamy on my skin. A slightly bitter tang comes out in the drydown, however it's not offensive. Actually rejuvinates and renews the perfume, keeping my interest.

Got a sniffie of this.. straight up rye bread to my nose! I applied to see what it would do.. still dark rye bread. I think the caraway is too strong to allow anything else through. I can sense a roundness because of the amber, saffron, and bergamont, however still mainly caraway. Unique and I'm sure uncharted territory however too strong for me to actually wear around. I would like it as a house/atmosphere oil, though! Yum!

    Djinn

This is very strong when opening up on my skin. I smell vetivert and patchouli with cedar and smoke essence. Very masculine and dry. Softens and sweetens slightly on drydown, after my chemistry has attempted to turn it into powdered sugar, as it's wont to do. The smoke smells much better and sweeter now. Strange.. this turns into a masculine version of Hunger on me? Not bad, however I would only apply at home because of the overwhelming strength as it settles.

    Drink Me

The first time I tried this a couple weeks ago, I smelled of roasted toffee turkey. I was a little repulsed and intrigued. Figured I'd try again to see if anything changed.. it did. Less turkey this time (whew~!~) Same from imp to drydown, this strange one is sweet, dried fruit, caramel and butter on me. There's a roasty meatiness still hanging around however it's not notably turkey-ish anymore, just juicy and fleshy like a heavy meal. Weeeiirrrdd! A keeper still.

The Smilin' Servitors' Hyperdimensional Holiday Hits

Definitely freesia off the bat. Yuzu is muted however. Eucalyptus is giving this a tangy back. Floral, sharp, strange, silvery. Pretty accurate~ Warms up a bit on drydown thankfully however retains its bite!

    Shadow Witch Orchid

I'm usually quick and precise with my reviews, however this one has me baffled? It's a simple scent, reminiscent of sweet pea and a tropical floral (think Isle of Demons) mixed together. However, there's a breathy veil over it like shroud or morgause. Throw is good, similar to some mad tea party scents with the sweetpea vanilla combo. Like!

    Havana

Frimp from the lab. The leather doesn't pop on me like others have stated? I get date, something spicy and banana-ish. Smells a bit like Lush's banana moon on me mixed with tobacco. mmmmhh.. warm, lazy and sun-baked.

    Crib Girls

Sugar circus! This is so froot loops like everyone else said. weird! There's a burst of creamy honey and lemon when first applied, then warms down to boiled sugar fruit punch. Smells like that sugary free drink mistake ya make at the bar after 2-martini-impared-judgement-time.

    Death Cap

Mmm ruddy mushrooms mixed with sweet vanilla. Interesting dirt combo. The description is exact!

    Pumpkin Patch IV (2005, 2006)

Maybe since this is aged it's morphed a bit however now smells like sweet leather! Not even a drop of pumpkin can be perceived really.. strange!

    The Death of Autumn

Hmmm... khus is a vetivert that can stand my chemistry, so off the bat.. WHEW. In imp and wet: smoky, sweet, earthy spices, slight cologne essence from the vetivert. Drydown: spices start to appear more and the vetivert softens. The oud lingers in the back. Creamy spicy earthy sweet and very deep dark. Like!

Serpents with Glittering Eyes and Forky Tongues

This is Envy's slightly less carpet cleaner smelling cousin. I like this so much more! the red current gives it more dimension.

    Saint-Germain

Is it weird and uncanny that as soon as I popped this imp open I sputtered out the term "rich people"? Seriously reminds me of department stores filled with clean leather and silk dreams. Where people never smell like bo (well I would never fit in then!) and their pants are always pressed (double that.. I've never taken a single thing to the dry cleaners). Very refined... to the point that people might just give you the stink eye on general premise. It smells great but makes me mighty uncomfortable. hahha!!

    Lust

Wet: Smells exactly like Lush's Karma perfume on me! Really... a total identical match. It's very thick and syrupy and leaves that orangey spicy well-being feeling swirling about my head. Drydown: shifts every so slightly towards a Sin or Satyr kinda mix, with the red musk coming out more, however still solidly feeling very Karma-ish. I know this is supposed to inspire ..uhm *ahem* however this is very soothing and meditational on me (I lean faaarrr towards earthy spicy and resinous anyways). My new moment-of-peace inducing pick.

    The Robotic Scarab

This is better on me than No. 93 Engine. (yes I know everyone loves that 93 but it's a bit cloying combined with my chemistry). As most have said before, there is a masculine poof of cologne and leather at the beginning that very quickly settles. My skin tends to turn things a bit sweet, so the anise picks right up. The incense is very sweet but not sacchrine and the leather remains notable however it gets a little buttery. mmm. There's a feeling of a heady floral that comes out on drydown? I know it's not there, but anyways.. Kinda like tavern of hell or jazz funeral...very well mixed. Great scent for upcoming summer!

    Zombi

I didn't know what to expect... my skin loves this thankfully! In imp and wet, smells of fresh stony dirt and sweet roses with a slight green note that could only be the rose leaf and spanish moss combo. Drydown is the best. The roses soften to a sweet sugared confection with the dirt and the green hangs back after a hard burst in the wet phase. Now it wafts and hangs in a light fog around me. Really really lovely and what a surprise! Thanks fellow Maine bpal'er!

    Lucy's Kiss

Bit of a sugary rose with slight spice. Still a bit strong on the rose for me to enjoy. I was hoping the adjective "gentle" would be more accurate. then again, it's rose! What was I expecting? Silly me. Up to the swaps it goes!

    Fairy Market

This reminds me of visiting the mall.. but not in a bad way. Smells a bit like the sweet fruity floral mixes that lingerie and body cosmetics shops permeate and purposely waft out into the corridors to entice customers into their stores. In imp: sharp floral, bit of grass, and something buttery like a sweet musk? Wet: florals explode on this. Not the lavender, don't worry about that, but more about the bluebell and something iris or buttercup-ish. Drydown: After all settles in, the incense has a chance to glow. A mischeivous golden scent, living up to it's lab description.

    Flora

Thanks tuberose, for staying in line. That was a relief! Like others have said, this is dominantly fruity with a fresh floral background, The amber and sandalwood grounds the bunch nicely, making it palatable instead of overpowering. The orchid came out on drydown, giving this a creamy vanilla-like whisper. Completely underrated!

    Suspiro

This is a very gentle scent. Light, sweet, florals that can totally be a "go to" for any situation. The lily is not overpowering (whew) and neither is the jasmine. I equate it to a Pannychis with a pure sugary instead of a currant fruity spice background. Mmmmm!

    Tzadikim Nistarim

Weird.. the hyssop and olive jumps out on this one. This is a crisp, sharp, but also creamy floral on my skin. However further on the drydown, this gets sharper and sharper.... then poof, soft floral. The olive is predominant with a heady flower? Hmm. strange! Edit: this is beautiful after it settles in. Clean sweet, smooth floral!

    Tobacco scents

This might sound weird but everytime I wear Blood Kiss, my sweetheart comments that I smell like sweet cherry vanilla tobacco. Worth a shot!
