I'd like to revive this thread to see if any BPAL oils released since the OP asked about Narciso Rodriguez for Her are reminiscent of it? The notes alone in the search aren't coming up with much, but perhaps someone who is familiar with NRFH could suggest a BPAL equivalent? Thanks in advance!!

A recent Lucky Scent sample order has left me absolutely saddened that I cannot afford By Killian Back to Black, the first scent in a long while that I feel is absolutely perfect for me: vanilla, honey, and tobacco with a raspberry base that ends up smelling like an expensive amaretto liquor. So beautiful. Any thoughts on a similar fragrance? I'd much rather give BPAL the money, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Boomslang is so gorgeous. I get the teakwood right away from the bottle (yay!) and immediately on the skin. Unfortunately the teak doesn't hang out for long on me, but what I'm left with is so delicious I don't mind: rich, deep cocoa absolute and dark spices with a splash of rice milk, which gives a warmth and creaminess to the blend. The heat from my laptop warms the oil on my wrists where I rest them so that I'm enveloped in this chocolatey spice for hours as I work. Lucky me!

The combination of the olive blossom, honey, and cinnamon, for me, is gorgeous. On my skin there is just enough jasmine to keep it from being too foody, but it really is a silent partner. It is warm, feminine (but not girly, refined) and rich smelling... I adore it! But I may be biased... Defututa instantly transported me back to summer Sunday afternoons in Greece, baking with my mother - She is pouring the cinnamon-infused honey over the warm tray of baklava and the breeze is carrying in the faint scent of the jasmine in the windowbox. Definitely need a bottle of this.
