In-Thread Questions -Any specific scents, which may be part of a fiber or attached to a fiber, that you can't deal with(i.e. wet sheep, cloth dye, wood)? most scents should be fine as long as it goes away when it dries. As for koolaid, lingering scent isn't a problem. (though since I live in a hot and humid place, make sure dye isn't gonna release while I'm out sweating or something lol) -are you cool with the neck accessory itself decorated by me? that's fine with me, I like looking unique and that sounds pretty cool. I like embroidery, beading, I've seen lace applique that looked cool, painting can be totally awesome (altho hopefully not too stiff afterwards). Just not cliche, I don't really go for applique flowers or pompoms... -patterns and fabrics I like for non-knit stuff I like silk, chiffon, jersey, fleece & felt can be really nice but keep in mind it can get pretty hot in HI! I like houndstooth, pin-stripes, checkerboard/plaid, and cool repeating prints (be it like the skulls or oranges below, or eyeglasses). When it comes to painting, it's kinda free reign i guess.. I kinda like stylistic foxes, bunnies, houses, deer/antlers, food, typography (ampersands are pretty), dissection/instruction/blueprint-like images, or kinda fairy tale-esque.... (here's a few etsy stores of art styles I like... ink and watercolor oddness cool topography red reding hood love this piece odd mix type & blueprint I'm not really into dots, paisley, floral (unless it's more geometric rather than realistic), rainbow, or classic tie-dye. here's a link to different items, i really like the look, feel, materials, and construction of these... -Would you enjoy a novelty scarf? And if so, at what level? I have always loved the fox-shaped (white or red) scarves... but in hawaii it tends to come off too weird >_> but I wouldn't mind fox imagery (embroidery or something). I also like retro-y themes like skulls, eyeglasses, bows (embroidery.. not actual bows attached). I also do like text if it applies... but nothing comes to mind as far as what to write. In general, I like a good-looking crisp, clean scarf that has a cool/slight punk/young feel.... -Delicate, tough, or it doesn't matter? I would rather it not be SO delicate that I can only wear it to special occasions (b/c those are VERY few and far between). It's probably going to be worn as a fashion statement (or as an inside item to keep me warm) so it can be anywhere between somewhat-delicate all the way to rough and tough! (i don't mind handwashing) -What scarf-types do you like? exs: Cowl (either the scrunched down kinds... or the tall ones that shield your neck while you wear a jacket), hooded scarves, shawls, poncho-like, skinny (or wide) and long (or short) normal scarves, wrap, fashion types (like necklace-like, or shawlettes), moebius?? I like cowls (probably more scrunchy as a tall one would probably be too hot!), shawls, ponchos, not really normal scarves so much, wraps, shawlettes, moebius! (a lot of them lol) -what kind of non-knitted scarves/wraps do you like? Length? Style? I have some examples below in the "etsy" section of non-knit stuff... I tend to be attracted to the shape, pattern, and finishings of non-knit-neckwear... I like... -Cowls- kinda loose at like boob or higher length -shawlettes- fringe/no fringe is cool.. anywhere from slightly above boob to tummy length (for the point hanging down in the front). Also, maybe a way to button/clip the ends that wrap around the neck could be nice... -ponchos- any length... i'll probably be wearing it inside. It could be from the elbow (like capelet length), down to waist or past the waist length. Though the longer it is, it may be nice to have some buttons or something to open it on the front or side or something... -as for finishings, i mention it below... -how do you feel about ruffles/pick ups? I guess I'm sorta kinda picky on scarf-finishings.... I am not a huge fan of the ruffles, no pom-poms, most crocheted flowers, tie-dye... I DO like buttons (snap and normal)(i tend to like being able to open/close things), those gold-pyramid stud thingies, fringe (if it's a shawlette), zippers, embroidery, tasteful beading, i do like the swarvorski/judith leiber purse/bedazzle-esque section, and painted stuff can be fun too! I like the different fabrics or sewn lines that can make stuff interesting, (like these kinds of items) -what are your least favorite colors? No pastels, no orange, sorta not pink, not really black (i see all kinds of fuzzies and stuff all over it), or "faded" colors. I don't really like any color that's dark (so no forest greens, dark blues, wine-reds, etc); the only exception is royal purple/plum and gray. (i like brighter colors... not neon.. more like "vivid" lol). Most colors I can deal with if it's part of a gradient or something, as long as it's not too much... How do you feel about art yarn? it looks cool as a skein, but I wonder how nice it will look when it's knit up? some of the crazier-mixes seem like they'll look too weird.. (i like more of a clean look) but I'll trust your judgement if you're sure it's gonna awesome, it probably will How do you feel about mixing up textures? I don't mind if it still looks nice (i don't love patchwork).. I think it may be cool if they're the same color but in different textures. Though I think it could look really cool in non-knit stuff (like the outside in 1 texure, lining in another... or something lol) Stripes? I don't always love stripes, but there are def examples of very-nice looking ones! i like stripes if they come off more clean/modern-looking. (not a fan of self-striping unless it's socks). Noro stripes look awesome... plues this and this. Do you have preferences for lacy scarves? like in my ?-airre, it depends on the usage. honestly I like both.. as long as it's pretty, I don't mind is there any crafting related but non-scarf item that you would want as an additional gift? notions, needles, fibers, etc? any skill you want to be enabled in (spinning, knitting, crocheting, etc?). I'm still fairly new to knitting so things related to that would be fun. It's totally not necessary to get me anything extra, but any of these would be fun and greatly loved: yarns (any weight), a bit of roving for thrumming, stitch markers (with a very-thin loop), dpns and circular needles (anything above US6), tiny beads/crystals. Also plain jersey and/or fleece fabrics, and sheets of felt would be fun for sewing up some plushies!! Lately I've wanted to do some embroidery too; get a lil fabric, that wood loop, some needles and thread and work it lol. so... yea... I like LOTS of things lol -How do you feel about scarf/shawl accessories, i.e. pins or brooches; would you use them? I would love it! I've seen very pretty pins that others have had and am a bit jealous -are we talking just delicate laceweight lace or is a nice openwork pattern out of a larger gauge yarn probably more delicate and relatively tight... if I can stick more than 3 fingers in a hole then its probably too openly knit for me... If you like to read, what kind of books are you into? I def don't NEED any books, but I do enjoy them. Like: funny, interesting information, historical fiction, slightly morbid (ex: books by Mary Roach) If I add candy/tea/etc to your package what would you prefer? What would you rather NOT get? I don't mind any, but once again I don't NEED any of it. I like white/green tea... and chocolate is yummy! Any favorite: animals, sports/teams, bands/singers, etc that I might include in my plotting? animals- I like foxes, bunnies, and mushrooms (yes I know they're not an animal but they fit into that foresty scene) and on that same vein I like hydrangeas/poppies/orchids/airplants sports/teams- not interested in any bands/singers- not any enough to warrant plotting. In general I like kinda popie-indie-rock -What do you see as your "gender style" ie: Girly Girl, Sporty Spice or Tomboy, Absolutely Butch Girl, Sort of Femme Guy, Total Queen Guy, Man's Man. Let's see, I would kinda place between between girly girl to possibly metro guy? lol I like slightly nerdy (like computer or art-school nerdy), super girly (be it cute or sexy), and/or modern fashionable with clean lines ------------------------------------------------------------- Ravelry Favorites here are a bunch of ones I've seen and loved! feel free to mix and match, or straight up use one of these patterns! I thought it was a nice mix of different techniques if you're knitting, and a lot of different styles if you're crafting in another way...(my super-top 5 are *-ed) --outside types: cowls, moebius, shawls nice wrap coral-like scarf great in blues, beige, white, red.. Houndstooth bandana-scarf cowboy cowl *pretty pretty shawl airy cowl NEW cool pattern/texture scarf *NEW clean and modern moebius --inside types: wrap, capelet, shawls *comfy cool shawl love the red grey combo! big and whimsical wrap giant shawl with arm holes *insanely warm wrap clean and warm maybe even wider? lol NEW 1 sleeve wrap *NEW sexy plaid wrap and i love the color combination! ------------------------------------------------------------- Etsy Favorites oops! b/c I knit, I kinda forgot that people may be using other crafty methods to make their scarves! So here are some cool etsy things (not knit) that may give some inspiration too (*-ed my awesome top 3!!) jersey scarf felted scarf hand painted hand painted skulls scarf hand painted scarf screenprinted cool cowl *super cool convertible poncho not sure about the border design/color in the featured pic, but love the design! also cool convertible capelet also not sure about the design/color combo in the featured pic, but love the design! unique classy scarflette *assym poncho *cool capelet

I wouldn't mind, sounds interesting What is the coolest thing you have recently bought or been given that wouldn't exceed the price cap? ribbon for lei-making and pieces of any color/pattern fabric for kanzashi making (any pieces around 10"x10"). The store has limited selection of each, so I'm always happy when I can find some! (the one I can never seem to find is 40yds of yellow gold or orange ric rac ribbon) Do people like Roller Derby? If so, would you want anything from that sport? Like memorabilia or anything? it's pretty cool, but it's not really for me.... Clowns - boooo or yay (love em or hate em?)? they are totally skeevy and pedophile-esque, which I'm usually ok with. Though if a painted-up clown is walking toward me I'll look away and feel --dare I admit-- scared. EEK. Minion Things I would want... -from MeiLin - both the slow cooker & garlic cookbooks -from nekogrrl - I love crafting, so I wouldn't mind having some imp/bottle-sized boxes. -from greenwoodtree - I would LOVE an astrological/birth chart/etc reading lol -catseyes - tim tams

Switch Witch Questionnaire - Spring 2011 Basic Info Pets: Mado- 5lb maltese- about 1.5 years old- he’s SUPER laid back and loves to cuddle and follow me around. He can never bite hard enough to squeak things, so he tends to chew on rawhide or play with crinkle-toys, but despite his weak bite he’s incredibly tough (aka not noticing red ants biting and crawling all over his face and nose). Paku- about 5lb black pom/pap mix- almost 7months old- he’s a hyper breed and love to run around (and under) things, and while he tries to be a good dog his ADD kinda takes over most of the time…. But he’s too adorable to ever stay mad at. Here's a pic of them both Children: nope! Religious orientation: maybe agnostic? But I do connect with Hindu, Buddhist, Wiccan beliefs… So I guess I would say I’m ‘spiritual’ rather than religious: I like the chakra system in relation to reaching enlightenment, birth charts, meditating, and nature. Favorite Holiday: I don’t really have a FAV holiday, but I suppose x-mas because I tend to be able to get with family and that’s always awesome! Occupation/Major in school: I guess I’m a housewife trying to be an artist thing? Lol Living arrangement (by yourself, with roommates, etc): me, hubby and 2 pets Livejournal/Blog/Website: Not sure if it’s even applicable, but here’s my flickr BPAL Favorite BPAL oils: Agape Lick It Lick You Mean It Candy Butcher White Chocolate & Sugared Violets Miller V. California Red Tide Favorite notes: cream, vanilla, light leather, chocolate, linen, honey, foody scents, ripe berries, green fresh apples Favorite non-BPAL perfumes: I don’t really use anything else LOL Least favorite notes: I don’t like metallics, ginger, heavy booze, patchouli, grapefruits, blood, anise, red musks, and strong florals, some foody scents end up smelling awful on me (pumpkin notes especially ) Least favorite non-BPAL perfumes: For the most part I don’t enjoy the “perfumeyness” that normal perfumes at the mall, etc have… I always get a headache going through that section of a store! If Beth made a custom blend for you, what would the notes be, and what would you want the label art to look like? hMmMm I think a creamy spiced honey and/or vanilla! I don’t need anything heady or complicated, but rather a sexy-spicey warm skin scent. YUM As for label art, a nude wearing a sexy black rabbit mask. (I should draw that! lol) Clothing & Jewelry Hair type: dark brown medium length that is kinda dry. (I’m trying to grow it out atm, but I swear it grows extra slow…) Skin Type: um… a light tan with combination skin. Allergies (specifically B&B related): mangos (my hubby is allergic) Other things to avoid: none I can think of atm Tub, shower or both? both Favorite bath & beauty products: Surprisingly when it comes to the shower I do enjoy scents that I would hate in a perfume like lavender and lemongrass. (and I like ‘em strong!) I enjoy a lot of things from LUSH. (my top being: -Jasmine & Henna Fluff Eaze : it makes my hair SOOPER soft and luxurious - Ceridwen’s Cauldron Bath Melt - Fizzbanger and Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bombs) When I do indulge in baths, I love BUBBLES! Anything that gives me an insane amount of bubbles would make me giggle with happiness after a not so great day. I also like fake eyelashes (natural or fun looking)and high pigment eye shadows! Clothing Style/Fave garments: Most of the time I wear leggings with some kind of long shirt or short dress. I am also totally in love with rompers, sundresses and maxi dresses. Light-material sun hats are totally fun too! Favorite clothing colors/colors to wear: black and blue. Mostly dark colors, but it’s always fun to have something bright every now and again, especially when its hot out. Type(s) of jewelry worn: I usually wear a necklace of some sort and a pair of simple pearls in my ears. But my fun earrings are always dangly. And then I do enjoy wearing kanzashi in my hair too I don’t wear bracelets most of the time since my wrists are small… And I tend to not wear rings except for my for go-to pieces, because they always tend to annoy me as the day progresses lol. Ring/wrist/collar size: ring finger is size 6 (not sure about the other fingers…), my wrist is 6 inches around, if collar size means shirt size then I’m a medium. Jewelry - gold or silver? I prefer gold, but I actually like both Do you have any allergies to metal? nope Favorite gemstones: gold stone (both classic red and blue) and tourmaline (which is one that helps me meditate actually). But I enjoy lots of colors, so if they’re shiny then I tend to like it!. Sock/Shoe Size: shoe size is women’s 9 (US) Lifestyle Style/home decoration style: dark woods and neutral other colors. I like bright flowers to bring some life to the room. I also decorate the place with driftwood that I have collected in the past. Favorite decorating colors: rich dark browns and bright fresh greens together. Or regal purple with light cool grays. Things you collect: DRIFTWOOD! They are just so smooth and beautiful in all their forms, BPAL (duh), kanzashi, sliced wood rounds (to paint on), handpicked sea glass (I have maybe one jar amount that I collected on vaca once, but I’d love to have more), fun Wii or PS3 games. Favorite music: I’m really ignorant when it comes to music and tend to just grab onto things I like from others’ collections. But I suppose I tend to like mid 90’s pop (Ace of Base! yes I’m weird), Disney (what?! It’s fun and easy to sing along to and reminds me of fun childhood memories!) and then things like BOND, Octopus Project, Tegan and Sara, etc. Least favorite music: not really into country, hard rock, rap, metal, you get the idea, nor do I go for plain classical music.. lol Vegetarian/Vegan?: (Please be as specific as possible to reduce confusion!) nope, I loves the meat! But I have veggie and vegan friends, so I’m not opposed to anything in that category either! Other food restrictions: well once again no mangoes (hubby is allergic), and then I don’t like licorice, wintergreen and spearmint, taffy, peeps, cherries, onion, strong cheeses, olives… yea I think most of this list doesn’t really apply lol. I tend to enjoy more soft things rather than hard or crunchy things (yea I’m totally weird… ex: I can’t bite into an apple, I hate the feeling! I have to cut up apples first.. lol) Favorite flavors: white chocolate, peppermint, milk chocolate, raspberry, honey, vanilla, key lime, cheesecake, cookie dough Favorite foods/drinks: STROOPWAFELS (even though I can’t find them here.. ugh), kimchii and most Korean foods, and … I don’t know… plum liqueur? Favorite authors/genres: I like humorous odd historical/cultural/creepy/erotic books that teach me somewhat useless knowledge lol, historical fiction, cookbooks, craft/art books , and some interesting spiritual books. Ex: Stiff: the Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach The Dirt on Clean by Katherine Ashenburg Myths & Symbols of Vedic Astrology by Bepin Behari Art & Physics: parallel Visions in Space, Time, and Light Least favorite authors/genres: I don’t read romance, fantasy, political. Books/authors you'd like to read, but haven't yet: The Big Oyster: History on the Half Shell by Mark Kurlansky Packing for Mars by Mary Roach Time Traveler’s Guide to Medieval England: A Handbook for Vistors to the 14th Century by IanMortimer Moloka’I by Alan Brennert Ultimate Dog Treat Cookbook by Liz Palika The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life Volume 2 (or Vol. 1) by Drunvalo Melchizedek (really weird… but interesting nonetheless) Some kind of good bread machine recipe book for 1lb bread machine How do you feel about receiving gently used books as gifts? Totally cool with it Favorite stores (including clothing stores): Q-pot, Betsy Johnson, LUSH, Sephora, Gamestop, pet stores, Max Brenner's Chocolate Restaurant Favorite online stores (including B&B stores): LUSHUSA.com, Amazon.com, Some etsy stores, Gamestop, BPAL, bittersweetsny.com and Agent Provocateur for window shopping Magazines you subscribe to: none Magazines you like, but don't subscribe to: Scientific American, Discover, Science Illustrated, Real Simple, any recipe magazine (I prefer desserts, but I think I need to graduate to big-girl dinner recipes lol) Favorite movies: While I get excited about new movies and such… the ones that give me most comfort while I’m painting are animated films (Disney, etc), and action/comedies from like 1992-1996. (what can I say… things that remind me of my younger years are so fun even if my hubby hates it). I also like supernatural thrillers and science/nature documentaries. Favorite TV show(s): I like all the CSI’s, Law & Orders, Top Chef, Kitchen Nightmares, Simpsons, Modern Family, Fringe, Futurama, etc… I used to watch anime too, but don’t watch it much anymore. Hobbies/crafts done: As in things I like to do? Well, I like playing with my pups and having play dates with them. I love making desserts but am not very advanced with it, but I’m trying! My last baking adventure was lemon soufflés! I also love to paint and draw, I was in a funk for like almost a year but am slowly coming out of it now YIPPIE! As for things that interest meI go back and forth between different crafts…. Which means I have minimal-medium knowledge in quite a few things that I rotate in doing like-- scrapbooking, henna, macramé, kanzashi (though I’m VERY new to this), a little origami, card making, and sculpture. Wishlists BPAL Wish List Etsy wish list Amazon Wishlist LUSH retro (things they don’t sell in the store) Ice Hotel Bubble Bar, Temple of Truth Bubble Bar Random Questions: - On a scale of 1-5, how organized are you? Probably a 3. Mostly because I’m organized at first, then organized chaos ensues, then once its reached its peak I reorganize it lol. - Where, outside of the U.S. would you love to visit? (if you're international, this can be anywhere) Korea, Italy, Australia, Japan… lots of places haha - Do people tell you that you act older, younger, or your age? It actually depends who/when I’m talking to someone. I’m told that for my age I’m incredibly open (possibly too open) and can have an intelligent conversation with people much older than me. But at the same time, if something adorable catches my eye or I’m with my nerd buddies, I dissolve into a squealing child. I’m a true Gemini in most aspects of my life where I tend to be both extremes… lol But I suppose the happier I am, the younger I appear.... - Have you ever been skinny dipping? Nope. I was always a bit of a house-nerd and just was never in a position to do it (perhaps I should put it on my bucket list? Lol) - Do you wear pajamas to places other than at your house? Nope. My self-conscious side tends to make me over-dress even when going to the supermarket >_> - Your least favorite feature about yourself: physical- thighs/butt. Non-physical- is probably my lack of self-confidence and that I tend to care WAYYY too much about what others think. - Do you live in a neighborhood or in the middle of nowhere? Neighborhood.. in fact, I see too much of my neighbors. - Do you like to shop? YES, but it tends to be window shipping as my tastes tend to far outweigh my finances. - If you were a shoe, what would you be and why? I’d probably be a tall shiny black stiletto with cushion on the inside, and a painted sole underneath. Which I picked because I am pretty tall but am a bit curvy and in reality I cannot wear heels very often b/c they hurt (hence the foot cushion). I tend to wrestle with presenting myself as a classy girl like that of a NYC socialite, and the other side that wants a tattoo sleeve and dyed blue hair and to be that quirky/sexy/cool artist. So while I keep that classic behaved girl in the sleek black cocktail dress shoe, the painted sole (perhaps red, or some other design) shows the brewing artist underneath it all. - They're making a bio-pic based on your life. Who's portraying you? OMG I have no idea… skip. -Have you ever thought, "oh, I'm going to get myself one of those one of these days" but then never do? List 1 under $10 and 1 over $10. Under 10$ - a recipe book or magazine (either bread machine or slow-cooker related) Over 10$ -a gravity teapot at tavalon.com I used to have one and used it ALL the time! But gave it away before I moved, and am now wishing on a daily basis that I had it back. But then I found that they no longer sell it on amazon, and the website doesn’t ship directly to Hawaii :’( , so I keep meaning to have a family member have it shipped to their home, and then ship it to me after… but it still hasn’t happened. - Sunrise or sunset? Sunset because I’m never up early enough for the sunrise - Has a stranger ever told you that you did something really well? What was it? Well, someone on the forum said they really liked how I draw/paint. Which I think is the only thing a stranger would say that I do well. - Do you like garage sales (boot sales)? I love garage sales. Sometimes it sucks going from house to house (so I kinda like flea markets a lil better), but you always find awesome stuff! - I like to slather my food in …: Omg this is easy. HOT SAUCE. in Spaghetti, on sam'iches, on rice, on potatoes, in soup... I go through at least 1 bottle of Siracha a month, and can use a whole lil bottle of green tabasco in one meal... - State fairs or carnivals? O_o umm.. fairs? - Do you like to splash in puddles after it rains? Did the thought make you smile? The thought of doing so is always fun and wonderful. Except for the time I actually did and yucky street-puddle-water sprayed up my skirt, and then it wasn’t so great. Notes (Here's where you can add additional information you'd like your Switch Witch to know!): -I know some of the things I liked were definitely over the cap but I left it there so you have an idea of the types of things and styles that I like. -I’m pretty open with things like adult material (nudity, erotica, etc), inappropriate jokes, and crude language. So if you have an idea that may cross one of those lines, I'm cool with it -I do enjoy learning new crafts like basket weaving, felting, crochet, tatting, wire jewelry (all of which I have NO experience in what-so-ever) -Also feel free to make something too if that’s your forte! -My puppies love toys and treats too! (though they’re VERY small and neither can squeak toys with their small weak jaws lol) They like chewy, rolly, crinkle toys, and thinks with dangly pieces they can chew on. (think cross between baby and cat toys lol) -I live in Hawaii where it’s hot and sunny. So keep it in mind when shipping because food/bath items can definitely melt (which means Ziploc-ing stuff just in case, or just avoiding it in general). -I hope I haven’t sounded completely insane and that I gave you enough ideas and lee-way to du yor thang! HAVE FUN!!

I had found recently that rose scents don't really work well on my skin.. BUT this was an exception! Wet: I could smell a bit of a citrus smell with rose and something else but the citrus quickly faded away Dry: my nose is really unsophisticated. But over time it smells like rose-scented incense. Which I think is absolutely lovely. I probably won't wear it much as a perfume, but for use in sleeping or meditating I think it will work really well. It kinda makes me feel ethereal and feminine as I sniff it on me

In Imp: floral but sweet.. nice Wet: oooo!! apples! delicious apples with some rose Dry:Rose amps up to cover the apples. Which I don't like Overall: I thought I was really gonna love it b/c of how it smells wet... but it just turns into total rose. Which is "o.k." but not great... a bit of a let down...

I know what you mean, I do love the smell of delicious delicious cake! I've smelled the standard "cakey" scents and they just haven't worked for me either. Beaver'versary is quite amazing in the bottle, but is awful on my skin (and I have no scent locket atm). Closet and Eat me were gross on me as well My cakey love is... MB: Underpants!! Hard to get sadly, but it worked for me amazingly! (while Biggercritters & Closet didn't work at all) But otherwise, I've resorted to more choco scents to fill the void Though, many commercial scents/lotions make very wonderful cake/foody scents too. They're no BPAL, but it works when you have a craving for something in particular that you haven't found in BPAL... Hope you find something that works for you!! -
I totally agree that this smells a lot like dryer sheets, which I actually quite like. It reminds me of snuggling in a fresh-from-the-dryer flannel comforter. It's mostly coconut and musk to me. It feels a bit more floral and light as time goes by... I can see it working for getting a little musky warmth in cooler months, but also smell great for a sexy coconut scent for those sunny summer days. It's not phenomenal compared to other scents, but nice enough to use the one bottle I have

Leather, cognac, fig, ripe berry, and cream, stuffed into a plain brown paper bag. In the bottle: smelled kinda cream-leather mixture with a bit of a floral notes for me. On skin: I can smell juicy red berries and freshly-conditioned leather. But the cream smooths and blends it all together. I really like the creaminess of it, and the berries. But the leather I couldn't really decide on. Too much leather makes me feel nauseus, and that note in the blend is prominent enough where I felt that maybe it would make me dizzy and sick over time. And after wearing it an hour, I really couldn't say if I liked it or not.... So I was going to swap it. BUT in the last week I'd tried it a few more times.. and each time I'm liking it more and more. The leather gives this air of sophistication, and makes me feel like i've finally grown up to be a smart, successful executive (but those berries keep it a bit sexy and flirty too)! I find that it lasts a REALLY long time on my skin, and after 6 hours or so, the leather and berries calm and so there's this feminine creaminess that smells quite lovely. But I can still smell it faintly on my skin the day after I put it on (even with washing my hands throughout the day!) And so I think I'm going to have to get another bottle (or 2 since my roommate likes it too) for when I actually get that office gig

This has an earthy mossy feel to it. It starts off very faint. I enjoy the greenery in this. Though the longer I wear it, a cologne smell starts to grow. Still kind of faint, but the cologne kind of takes over while on my skin ehh.... I would recommend this to men, I think it would be super sexy on them... but don't worry women, the moss and cologne are actually on the faint side. But sadly this just isn't working for me......

I like it, but not sure if I will keep it. I go back and forth on it. Wet, it almost smelled like spicy amber and pink bubblegum mix(yes, my nose is totally odd!) But that goes after like 10 minutes, and the incense and amber come forth more (though remain very light), and the spice becomes the note that holds it all together....... I don't really like spicy/cinnamon notes, but it stays down pretty well as if it's being smoothed over with a light amber. But even with it behaving, it still is the predominant scent on my skin. Which I'm not sure if I love or not....

I aslo agree that this doesn't really smell like white chocolate at all... very smooth milk chocolate! The violet is sugary and smells like purple-lightly sugared berries to me. The milk chocolate remains the dominant on my skin, with light breaths of the violets thrown in. I like it that way because it with every whiff, it seems like just chocolate, but then surprises me with those wonderful violets! The smell is lovely and simple, doesn't morph and stays true to the in-bottle scent. I adore it (my favorite of the chocolates)! And am happy I got a backup bottle, though I may need ONE more lol

Wet: I loved it in the bottle and on my skin. Fresh wet peonies and light greenery. For me it hit as a very different and unique smelling-floral scent. Dry: Once it dried, the peony turned into a heavy "perfume-y" scent. It reminded me of an expensive generic perfume. Summary: Just too much like a generic perfume after drydown. Wish it smelled as it did in bottle...

I was dying to try this since it seems to be one of the most-loved scents! Wet: very strong and I disliked it. On Skin: that heavy cloying scent disappeared almost instantly and fell into a heavy heavy musk for me. It actually really reminds me of small furries having hot sex! Like a vulva that is glowing in heat! I was hoping for something a bit creamier and lighter. Later: It definitely has strong and very long lasting throw. Out in the cold and wind, it lasted forever! So basically while I can see what all the raves were about, it's a bit TOO much for me! ((i can't handle the vulva ;P)
-
WOW... amazing. It is a sweet, heady, creamy, exotic scent. I have a horrible nose for picking out notes, but this has now become my signature scent, and I feel sultry and sexy every time I wear it But while it's an incredibly exotic scent, it stays close to the skin so that it still works during the day or at work ;P I am in love and will have to hoard it!

One of my favorites! Wet: sugary, but smells more of butter rum then vanilla Dry: the vanilla and sandalwood amps up and makes it smell so sweet and creamy! quite wonderful ((though odd, I have Underpants from 3 different sources and while 2 are very similar... one actually smells quite different--as if there's no butter rum! but I still love it ))
