This reminds me of a bowl of ripe peaches lightly sprinkled with raw cane sugar. It's not overly sweet and cloying (which was a concern of mine; I can't take overly sugary scents) but this was just perfect. I wish I had gotten a second bottle!

Golden peach, Egyptian amber, myrrh, ho wood, frankincense, burgundy pitch, musk seed, and oudh.
This is such a lovely scent. First on, I get the peaches and ho wood, which I just adore. About five minutes in the frankincense and amber kick in and warm up the woodsy peach with a slight spice.
This scent has moderate throw and lasts about 3 hours or so. This was my favorite of the peaches. -
RPG Combos
in RPG
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab’s RPG scent series was designed to emulate the character creation process, and are meant to be layered in order to create a character concept. In short: you layer your class, race, and the two fragrances that compose your alignment to construct your character scent.
Hee hee, my turn to play! My first layering combo was Chaotic Rogue Elf. YUM. Musky leather with a hint of pine for the m'fin WIN. The combo on me turned out to be a bit masculine, as there was a bit of spice with the musky leather in the initial application, likely from the wasabi in Chaotic, but it's dried down and faded into a lovely musky scent. Not particularly picking up any of the florals in Elf, but they may have been covered up by Rogue and Chaotic before burning off.
My inner Elf wants to put this combo on at the LARP and go running around going 'Sniff me! SNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIF!!!' and hand out action slips for anyone who does. </dork> -
Wow, the champagne in this is super sharp and acrid, and the roses do what they normally do and AMP. Not for me.

This is one of the rare floral blends I can wear without gagging. I suspect the strong leather note keeps the orchid from taking over; they blend with the vanilla to give a lovely overall leather floral.
I love this scent and will wear it when I want to feel girly.
-
On me this turns out to be a lovely worn leather scent with the tang of iron, much like the iron feel of Iron Phoenix. The woods are in the background, but add complexity and warmth to the scent.
It is very much a 'masculine' scent, and I'm going to decant the husband some for him to wear.

Seriously, what can I say?
Pepperminty fresh!

Oh, this scent works so well it's almost scary. The vanilla red musk is the prominent note in this for me, and is supported by the patchouli and ylang ylang. The patchouli and musk keep the ylang ylang, caramel and honey from running away to sugarland. This is so sexy, I love it.

This scent perfectly sums up Halloween and autumn in general for me. The only thing this is missing (to me) is the scent of smoke or some representation of fire, as this is the scent of people out in the woods having hot apple cider. Totally delicious.

***The following message has arrived through a strange lag in the space-time continuum***
I'm not sure if I like this blend. I think the myrrh is what's throwing it off for me. I'm going to age it for a bit and retest.
-
My goodness, I love this scent. This personifies autumn to me, and I couldn't be happier about it.

This is very similar in feel to Beth's Blue Moon. It must be the florals, cause that's pretty much all I'm getting from it. The white musk is not helping the florals calm down, and there's not enough difference to my nose to keep this blend.
-
Too floral. I get nothing of the woods or incense. The blue musk tends to go sweet on my skin, so overall, this is not the blend for me.

This is another Dirty Hippie blend. The patchouli is not my friend, and it kind of takes over the blend.
-
... This scent is for the Luperci, the Chosen of Faunus, the Brothers of the Wolf: raw, down and dirty patchouli, Gurjam balsam, and essence of Sampson Root sweetened with the heightened sexuality of beeswax, virile juniper, oakmoss, ambrette seed over honey and East African musk.
I have never understood the people who don't like patchouli because it smells like a dirty hippie.
I understand them now.
This blend personifies Dirty Hippie to me. I can't decide whether this is a 'bad' batch of patchouli or if another note is making this a do not want. -
This smells exactly like a casserole my mom used to make, which had caraway seeds in it. While the perfume has a slightly different scent to it thanks to the amber, I'm still not particularly enthused about smelling like my sister's favorite childhood meal.

WHOA vetiver. You do NOT have to prove your superiority by beating everyone else's face in.
-
I was hoping for a mildly sweet citrus. This is NOT mild. Way too sweet; overpowers the citrus handily.
-
Jasmine proves itself one of my death notes as it completely takes over with the aid of the champaca and pear. Way too sweet for my taste.
-
This is a horrid clash of scents on my skin. The coconut and ginger DO NOT LIKE ME.
-
Hahahahaha I smell like one of the alcoholic chocolates my inlaws fed me copious amounts of over Christmas.
-
OMG I smell like I've been doused in olive oil.
-
White chocolate, black raspberry, and apricot cordial truffle.
This is one of the few chocolate scents which works on me. The raspberry and apricot are both dominant, with the white chocolate giving a light sweetness to the blend. Was nice enough to be bottle-worthy. -
Cloyingly sweet.

Where the bath oil is peaches and raw cane sugar, this is peaches and spice. The frankincense warms up the peaches while the champaca flower sweetens it up just a touch to prevent it from going too dark. It's a lovely scent and a nice counterpoint to the bath oil.
