I am a vanilla whore. MARSHMALLOW. Any books/library/parchment notes, especially when paired with incense (oddly the Buggre Alle This Bible and I don't like each other tho). Cake, frosting, spun sugar, warm golden amber, leather, mulling spices, candy/sugar without that butterscotch feel to it, clove, almond, ginger, pumpkin (the rare pumpkin that doesn't do that buttery thing), pomegranate, sugared pear, lemon, patchouli, resins/incense, clean light florals, some lavender, linden, moonflower, some tea notes, some chocolate, lighter musks (i.e. Egyptian musk), dry cinnamon bark (like Priala and Sunbird) Least favorite notes: Jasmine-- it smells like poop on me, literally. butter/milk like in Milk Moon and the like--- very sour on me, too much ozone/aquatic a la Storm Moon-- I end up smelling like a 'brah' with too much Axe on, strong "burned" cinnamon (think cheap cinnamon candle), cloyingly bowl-me-over sweet brown sugar or butterscotch syrupy smell, (a la Sugar Skull), too much civet, too much vetiver, dark heavy musks, strong florals like gardenia, too much dragon's blood, too much jasmine, too much rose, metallic or "blood" notes. Cypress tends to ruin all the Roman-themed blends for me. Honey does that weird-ass musty thing on me. Least favorite non-BPAL perfumes: I despise Thierry Mugler's Angel. I cannot understand how something with such great notes can smell so FOUL. Most anything that smells chemically, which is kinda everything in the mass department store market-- there are a few odd boutique fragrances other than BPAL that I enjoy.
