  1. In Bottle: Very floral. A bit of lilac I think.

On Skin: The citrus is very light in this, the florals overpower the scent. The amber is also a bit silent. I want to smell fruit in this because of the name, but there are no fruity notes in this. It’s abit too floral for me sadly, but pretty nonetheless. Very springlike…

  2. GLITTER: All flash and glam: white wine, heliotrope, d'Anjou pear, and lotus.

    In Bottle: Floral Bubblegum.

On Skin: I’m thinking heliotripe must be the bubble gum note, because every scent I have that has heliotrope in it smells like gum. I can smell the floral note of the lotus, but I’m not smelling the wine or pear sadly. Pear is one of my favorite scents and the reason I got Glitter. After an hour, all I smell is floral bubblegum still.

  3. In Bottle: Lily of the Valley and sandalwood.

On Skin: The description of this scent made me drool. I am in love with the Impressionist and Art Nouveau movements. The Lily of the Valley and Sandalwood are very dominant. It is super femine and defines the word “pretty”. The opium is delicious and I think the vanilla is sweetening it. I don’t smell the mandarin though, if they’re meaning mandarin orange. I would love to wear a vintage dress and this scent and go to some 20’s theme night and live it up. The scent fits the description so well. Sadly, the scent faded completely after an hour and became non existant. L

  4. In Bottle: Grapefruit and ginger.

On Skin: Beautiful. The grapefruit gives it zing, the apple blossom is floral and sweet, the white tea keeps it crisp and ginger gives it spice and warmth. I think the floral is strongest at first. Feminine and pretty. The grapefruit seems to have soaked into my skin because I don’t smell it anymore. Very light and will need to be reapplied often I think.

  5. In Bottle: Woodsy Herb.

On Skin: Very fresh and a bit ozoney. A scent I’ve never smelled before. I think it’s a bit more masculine. A bit pungent and strong. It smells very outdoorsy… first it was woodsy, then ozoney and now it’s earthy. Very interesting…

  6. In Bottle: Rose… and fruity.

On Skin: The rose is very strong, pungent and tart. The pomegranate is sweet but not very distinct. It does give this scent a juicy feel. Obviously feminine and reminds me of a spring picnic in the garden. I normally don’t like rose, but the pomegranate eventually has sweetend the scent and made the rose less powerful. It still is a bit rosey meaning I probably wouldn’t wear this… but would like it on someone else.

  7. In Bottle: Super sweet cherry.

On Skin: Cherry with some kind of resin. Dark, sweet and hypnotic. After about 10 minutes I smell cinnamon or something spicy strongly.Yes the cherry is kind of cloying and might be too sweet for most if inhaled closely for long. But a quick whiff seems like it would spark attention. Applying sparingly and be prepared to fall in love with this scent. Well, at least for a little while. It fades after about an hour and turns to something almost dirt like on my skin with no echo of what it smelled like before… odd.

  8. In Bottle: Cherry and resin.

On skin: Smells just like Black Phoenix to me… The cherry is strongest and the resin gives a beautiful warm spicy depth. I think the clove also gives it a spicy kick that makes my nose tingle. This stays sweeter than Black Phoenix which tended to turn kind of dirty smelling on me after an hour. The blood scent I think is very signature to BPAL, and every time I smell any scent with these notes in it I seem to warm up and devour the sweetness of it.

  9. In Bottle: Sour but sweet, cola scent.

On Skin: The pine, myrrh, lime and vanilla stand out. I can identify them right away. The patchouli has an incense note in the background, but obviously there. I can’t really smell the vetiver, and I’m thinking the almond along with the vanilla give the scent it’s sweet edge. After a few minutes the cola scent leaves, and the clove makes itself known. I really like how interesting and how many levels this scent has. I love it, but wish the patchouli was lighter, since I’m not fond of that note at all. My favorite notes that stand out are the vanilla and almond… delicious… I wish the lime had stuck around a while longer.

  10. In Bottle: Peach and musk.

On Skin: The peach is still strongest… and I love the warmth of the musk and amber. The patchouli is light… I don’t really notice it at first. The scent is very sweet but spicy enough to be sexy as well. My skin seems to soak it up because it fades pretty quickly but the peach is the note that sticks around the longest.

  11. In Bottle: Pure delicious vanilla and cherry.

On Skin: The cherry and vanilla are there, but something turned instant powder on me. I thought I smelled a resin of some sort but it must be the cherries and musk. I can smell the earthy vetiver… very subtle. This scent is so delicous, but the musk and vetiver keep it from being too foody. Not sure if I smell the poppy since I don’t sense a floral…. After about 20 minutes the clove is very strong. An emotion I’d use for this scent is sweet lust. YUM! This is my favorite of the “Blood” scents so far. I want a bigger bottle!

  12. In Bottle: Sweet and almost cookie like.

On Skin: This scent just drips sexiness and the vanilla makes you just want to lick it off your skin. It goes so well with my body chemistry, I wear it all the time. It also fades to a powdery sweet spicy scent that makes you want to snuggle up and sniff it even closer. This is my second favorite BPAL scent after “O”, I always get compliments on it.

  13. In Bottle: Yum! Peachy!!!

On Skin: The peach I smell first, then floral. It starts as juicy but is mellowing out to a bit more powdery. I don’t smell the oakmoss at all. Very delicious, I want to lick my wrist. I am craving peaches bigtime. This is a grown up sweet scent, not as girly as many I’ve tried, and it doesn’t give me a headache. I really like it.

  14. In Bottle: Very sweet and the lemon stands out.

On Skin: A bit Lemon Pledgy at first. I can smell the honeysuckle coming out. The orange blossom is blooming as well, very delicious and girly. I like it, but I got it on reviews that it smelled like Cotton Candy… and I’m not sensing that sadly…

It is a good sweet girly scent though.

  15. In Bottle: Rose and fruit.

On Skin: Yum! The peach is delicious and it mellows out the twang of the rose. Very interesting… the swirls of aquatic notes give it the most intriguing blend. Again, I don’t like rose, but the other scents help hide it. I almost smell something minty as well… This is one I’m saving for sure.

  16. In Bottle: Very floral and light.

On Skin: Kind of Lemon-Pledge like… Very tart and floral. Not a scnet for me since it is so floral but pretty nonetheless. I can feel the laying in a field of flowers in the sun feeling from it for sure. I wouldn’t say it was masculine though, I could only imagine this on ladies.

  17. In Bottle: Very green and floral

On Skin: Very floral and pretty. The woods give a nice base and the lichen gives it a very green note. I also smell something minty/spicy... interesting... The flowers are soft and seductive. A nice light spring smell. Very striking, this one will get you attention. Not a scent for me though... Strong throw and long wearlength.

  18. In Bottle: Woody and smoky.

On Skin: Whoa! The smokiness is overwhelming... I don't like this one at all, sorry. I feel like I've been sitting in a campfire, it even makes my eyes water a bit. Very dark, of course, like the description says.

  19. In the Bottle: Sugar cookies, plain & simple.

On skin: A bit spicier, like nutmeg or cinnamon, with the obvious scent of sugar dough. I get hungry wearing this. It’s the only sugar cookie scent I’ve smelled that has those obvious spices in it, making it so much more real. I’m looking to see if I have crumbs on me. After a while, the cinnamon is strongest sadly, I don’t like how it overpowers the sweet sugar note. But still a scent I love.

  20. In Bottle: Cinnamon and spicy.

On Skin: Cinnamon red hots. The sweet clove is also there, but in the background. It smells like my mothers kitchen after she’s been baking sweets. I’m thinking gingerbread, cookies, yum… but it’s not really a scent I’d wear. It would be perfect as an room spray during the holidays though. After an hour, the clove seems to be dominant and I finally smell the pepper.

  21. I'd like to say, I am on the eternal hunt for the real spun sugar cotton candy scent and based on reviews here I tried a few. Sadly none were the right scent.

Siren and Aunt Caroline's Joy Mojo both were PURE bubblegum and stayed that way.

Lolita was fruity candy gum, not as obnoxious as the 2 mentioned above.

And Fae was super peachy and sweet. Delicious, but not cotton candy at all...

    My search continues. :P

  22. In Bottle: Sweet and a bit cloying.

On skin: It smelled like Play-dough. I didn't get the spicy notes people mentioned above. I don’t like it at all. I hoped it would change but after 2 hours it was still the same and my husband didn’t like it at all. Sadly, no love there…

  23. In Bottle: Tea and vanilla.

On Skin: Yum. Tea and milk extreme. The pepper and ginger give it a dark warm spice. The honey and vanilla make it drip with sweetness. Very unique, I’ve never smelled a scent like this. Very comforting. I’m not too fond of the tea note since I don’t like tea, but I love the rest of the notes so much I think I’d wear this.

  24. In Bottle: Cedar and sandalwood.

On Skin: I couldn’t get my husband to try this because it was too cedary for him and he hates anything with incense in it. He thought it smelled caustic in the bottle, but a lot of scents are that way till you try them on. On me, it is VERY masculine. Again the cedar and sandalwood are still strongest. The frankincense gives it a very incensey note, which I personally don’t like. It’s very woodsy and smoky.

  25. BLOOD AMBER:

Slivers of warm, pulsating blood forever crystallized in golden amber resin.

In Bottle: The dragon’s blood is the strong note.

On Skin: MMM… I like it better than Blood Rose, because I love amber. I also like how I could picture this on a man as well. I’ll have to get my husband to try it out. Actually, I could wear Blood Rose and he could wear this and we’d be a perfect pair. The amber is gentle and calming. A beautiful yet comforting scent.
