  1. Teakwood, oak, black vanilla, and tobacco. Oooh. Oooh. In the bottle, I get woodsy and sweet and dark. If it smells this way on my skin, I'm in love. ... On me, dry-down, it's smells much the same. I never got to try Glowing Vulva (although reading through these, I want to), but this reminds me of why I like, but don't love, Intrigue (woody, but not sweet enough) and the crowning wood notes in Miskatonic University without the cloying sweetness, blended with heady the tobacco and dark vanilla spirit that makes me love Midnight Kiss and Red Lantern (neither of which have vanilla, if I recall correctly, but have some sweet note like cocoa and caramel absolute). Well, that probably only made sense to me. In conclusion: Warm, golden dark, woody, and sweet (but not overwhelmingly so), all wrapped into one heady, sexy scent. I see a bottle in my future.

    Dragon Moon 2008

Hey, it's my first review! I'm afraid I'm not very good at this... Dragon Moon is my first Lunacy (I only recently started trying bottles/LEs at all!), despite that I've been an off and off customer for some years now. I was borderline on the notes, but the dragon description tipped me into trying it, because my boyfriend loves dragons, and I like them quite a bit myself. Why not trust Beth and take a chance? In the bottle: Sharp, harsh and bitter green with stab of peppermint. I got very worried that I'd made a horrible mistake! On me, dry down: Oh, this is much better on the skin. A nice, sweet, slightly spicy resiny base (I adore resin scents, although this is only my second dragon's blood), I'm getting soft herbal/floral green notes when I sniff close, and the peppermint adds a nice "cool" brush to the whole thing. The throw is all warm resins; I'm not getting too much in terms of the herbal/florals unless I sniff directly. This is a bit different from things I've tried before, but I'm glad I tried it! Conclusion: I'm glad I took a chance and got a bottle. I look forward to seeing if the resins age and morph the perfume later down the road, too. On a scale of 1-10, I'd put this one around a 7.
