roseus Report post Posted December 5, 2017 Pale white rose petals frozen beneath a blanket of snow. Creamy white rose and clean, crisp snow. It's not minty or piney. But it's definitely brisk, maybe blue musk involved? Eventually it looses it's chill and gets a little sweeter, but it's a clean snowy white rose. Lovely! Leopard403 Report post Posted December 10, 2017 I marvel at the many interpretations BP is able to create when they aim for a “snow” scent. In this case, no pine, fir, or eucalyptus, and it’s almost-but-not-quite spearmint. If I had to simplify Snow White, I’d divide it into a creamy almond scent and a high cold note; with Snow Rose, I can definitely smell the latter, added to some cold white roses. (Is there also a cold/snow note in Ice Princess BO? Because it reminds me of that a bit as well.) Very nice both in the bath and for quite a while after. thekittenkat Report post Posted December 18, 2017 Note: skin-test. A slightly sweet snow note floating on top of white roses. Very elegant, but a light and gentle scent. It would go well with White Rose from the BPTP Unity set, or Hope from the CD, two of my white rose faves.
LiberAmoris Report post Posted December 26, 2017 Snow Rose is white rose with a musky, lightly minty snow note. It smells very clean and post-bath, leaves a gentle scent on the skin like roses and idealized Ivory soap. I find this scent very comforting and it was the perfect bath oil to have on hand during my Yule staycation!
Minh Scent Report post Posted February 6, 2018 A lovely, light fragrance. It is a soft rose on my skin. I get more of the white musk vibe than the other snow types. It has a very long staying power and is a subtle delight!
LunaGoth Report post Posted February 6, 2018 A soft, chilled rose. Chillier than the other snow notes I've experienced so far, but not too cold. I used it as a skin oil and was delighted at the way I smelled. I imagine that it would be delightful for soaking in a hot bath, and a real gift for Winter-ravaged sinuses. zankoku_zen Report post Posted February 27, 2018 Sweet white rose petals and the same slushy snow note as in Marshmallow Snow.
