A Man in Armour is Confronted by a Ghost and a Skeleton

Recommended Posts

Creeping ivy and black yew, benzoin, and lichen-crusted bark.

At first this was WHOA NELLY green, crisp and fresh and sharp. After it took a few minutes to settle down, however, I think I'm in love with it. The bark reminds me of a long-lamented discontinued favorite, Hesperides. "A Man in Armour" doesn't have that sweet yellow apple, of course, but what it does have is a wonderful fragrance, brought together with benzoin. For me, this is a keeper for sure.

This smells like ivy, lichen (which to me just smells like moss), and a touch of benzoin. It's a green, crisp, gender neutral to masculine blend. Medium throw and wear length.

On the wand, this is primarily a woody lichen blend, with a little ivy, and reminds me of Robin Goodfellow. But there’s a smoother, darker Sleepy-Hollow-woods mood to it.

On my skin, this is barely detectable at first, but comes across as a dark green ivy-mossy-lichen blend with a little benzoin vanillic sweetness that grows during drydown. There’s a dark woody background.

Lovely for a dark and green woodsy mood.
