Peach and blackcurrant with sandalwood and pink pepper.

Peach and blackcurrant sitting in a tree
K I S S I N G
(and by kissing, I mean a kiss that's so deep it's hard to tell where one person starts and the other ends. Yeah, like that).

While the sandalwood holds them together in a scentastic threesome, pink pepper comes along and insists on taking pictures, sprinkling just a bit of herself in the mix, nipping them ever-so-slightly, to remind them to exhale occasionally.

Whoa. Super rich port wine-like peach, with a grounding base of earthy, woody, dry sandalwood. The perfect sweet fall scent. Color impression is billowing burgundy/red/burnt orange. What more could I ask for?

The black currant is very sweet and syrupy, a la Eat Me. Peach, its the juicy ripe kind. The sandalwood isn't mealy or overtly balsamic. Just nice and dry. Pink Pepper is just a supporting role. Barely visible, but important. Its the underwire bra to the voluptuous peach and blackcurrant tits. (yea I just said that)

I'm loving this one. Another hit from the peach pit! :wub2:

Wet on my skin, the black currant and pink pepper stand out to me more than the peach. I also feel like I smell a little oudh, or something else more earthy than sandalwood? It reminds me of the oudh in Peach IV from this year. (I barely smell sandalwood at this point.)

Pink pepper dominates the blend on my skin once Peach VI dries. I still pick up some peach and a little currant, but no sandalwood now.

I'm not personally a fan of this notes combination, but it would work for the right person.

I received Peach VI from two lovely nameless fairies whom I love to the moon and back for their kindness and generosity.

In the bottle: Sweet, with something earthy to round it out. Not quite sandalwood, but a nice scent nonetheless.

On, wet: This is the juiciest peach I have ever smelled. This is like, the juice running down your face after you bit into it. The sandalwood peeks in to say hi, and the pepper makes the whole thing a little spicy. I get no blackcurrant yet.

Dry: The peach has calmed down to more of a "peach perfume note" but is still nice and juicy. The blackcurrant makes it sweet and almost candy-like. The sandalwood is dry and beautiful and keeps the whole thing from being too overwhelmingly fruity and sweet. And the pepper. Oh my, the pepper. The pepper transforms this from a summer scent into a fall one, adding some lovely sprinkles of spiciness that just tickle the nose.

I love it.

Black currant, peach, and a dab of sandalwood. This is a purple juicy fruity blend. Good throw and wear length.
