Antoinette Report post Posted February 17, 2016 White tea, neroli, and slivered ginger. In the bottle: I'm immediately reminded of Kumiho. Wet on skin: Yes, it's in the same family as Kumiho but this is definitely different. The neroli adds a pretty punch of floral brightness here! The white tea is crisp and the ginger is sharp but not overly so. This is refreshing! Dry down: This is sparkly. It's crisp, clean, bright, just as I imagined it would be. This will wear well for me in hotter temps. If you like Kumiho, you should give this a try! The neroli sets it apart and adds a very pretty dimension to the tea and ginger. I love this!! bitterstar Report post Posted February 19, 2016 What a pleasure to smell neroli this way, light and unencumbered. This reminds me very much of Ginnivre, l'Artiste du Diable, and sure enough, there's a few overlapping notes (Ginnivre is hyson tea leaf, pale mint, sugar cane, orange blossom, lemongrass, and honey), but Full Moon is dryer, paler and a good deal less sweet. I will say I don't get a lot of ginger, which is a shame, but both the white tea and the neroli are prominent.
Naomi Kelsey Report post Posted March 24, 2016 Wet, this has a candied ginger, almost grapefruit aspect. It's light, sparkling, and fresh. The dry down is exquisite. Expensive, delicate powdery floral with green notes (must be the neroli). A very dainty and feminine scent without being girly or precious. I am really loving the Fluerette's fragrances so far and might have to try more.
freyasfae Report post Posted March 27, 2016 Really enjoying this for a summer scent. Usually, the teas are too weak on me, but the neroli and ginger ground this scent and give it a little more substance and staying power. I plan on wearing this more in the summer, but on the fence as to whether or not I need a bottle.
LadyLuckless Report post Posted April 11, 2016 Beautiful! This is a delicately sweet, citrus-kissed floral tea. So happy and mood-lifting, and absolutely perfect for summer! I agree with bitterstar, it does call to mind Ginnivre, l'Artiste du Diable (one of my greatest loves!) but I find Full Moon more calmly energizing, where Ginnivre is more relaxing and languid. milo Report post Posted April 21, 2016 Pretty much Embalming Fluid with a touch of ginger. I really like this, but it's a fast fade, (and I slathered!). I'll stick to my EF. It's just as nice and lasts a long while on me.
lucycat Report post Posted April 21, 2016 Full Moon is Kumiho plus neroli. I’ve never met a BPAL tea blend I didn’t like, and Kumiho is one of my favorite blends for summer. The neroli in this is subtle and doesn’t turn sour. Neroli is one of those traditionally perfumey florals that I don’t usually seek out, but it’s wearable here. I still prefer Kumiho for a white tea and ginger blend, but I’ll keep my decant for when I want something a little different.
zankoku_zen Report post Posted May 3, 2016 Yup, very much like Kumiho. Actually I'm reminded of the Governess, I think. Which was a Weenie that was pretty much White Tea SN on my skin. This one has some neroli and ginger thrown in. Very fresh and pretty. Good throw and wear length.
Jenjin Report post Posted May 8, 2016 (edited) Blind Bottle purchase based on comparisons to my beloved Kumiho. IN THE BOTTLE: Very similar to Kumiho but I detect a bit more sweet citrus (the neroli) along with the ginger tang of Kumiho. WET: Crystalline, white tea folding into a sweet, honeyed and somewhat metallic note, with green and spicy notes. DRY: The citrus fades down and a sweet, white floral amps. Full Moon also has a base note that I have never detected in Kumiho. I'm thinking of dry reeds or maze--taking me to the "shifting grasses in the moonlight". NOTES: So pretty! This is a masterpiece addition to BPAL's other tea blends. I'm enjoying how it has a softer "mellow" tone compared to Kumiho. Full Moon is a refreshing, summer scent for adding luminous light to indigo nights. RATING: 9.5+ Edited May 8, 2016 by Jenjin
sarandipitee Report post Posted May 16, 2016 This is really nice. I'm just learning how much I like neroli (which, for a non-floral lover - this is huge). It's very pretty and perfect for Summer wear. I'll definitely keep my decant, but I may just stick to Kumiho for a bottle purchase.
Blood onmy hands Report post Posted May 23, 2016 I wanted more neroli from this, but it's mainly a sharp, citrusy, bright, almost sour white tea on my skin. Cool and refreshing, but sharper and more clean smelling than I generally enjoy.
gloame Report post Posted December 29, 2016 5ml straight from the Lab. I'm getting all white floral (neroli) with no tea or ginger. Light and pretty scent, but not for my skin.
