annemathematics Report post Posted July 20, 2015 Startlingly loud: Himalayan citron, white musk, and pink peppercorn with peppermint, yuzu fruit, lemon verbena, and green tea absolute. the weather here is swelteringly hot and dry. venturing outside is treacherous. I've got this magic potion on and it's so beautiful I wish I could drink it.on me this is all about the luminous glory that is citron. backed up with a little yuzu, given warmth and depth from the musk, made summerific and flowing by the tea. I love mint; here is it minimal to the point that i would never guess it was here. the pepper and verbena add elegance but I only find them because I'm looking for them. there is a sweetness to this, but it's not a candy scent on me. (although it might please those who do love hard candy smells, it's a little more complex and not so over-the-top sugary). I'm so grateful to my fairy to have this. fingers crossed that this and black bar make it to the CBLDF site for sale, so that others can mind their mouths, minds and aromas with some solid and stunning censorship. this is fantastic. zankoku_zen Report post Posted August 7, 2015 This one is a really fun blend actually. The citron, lemon verbena and white musk are pretty, floral, and well blended. It's like a summer version of Snow White without any interlapping components. It's really a vibe thing. Snow White on me is a tropical pina colada. This is like her citrus version cousin. There's a creaminess in the blend that I didn't expect. And the pink peppercorn is very well behaved, without essentially throwing any discordant whiffs but rather ensuring that it doesn't just dissolve into a creamy/citrus apathy. Summery delicious, and not loud at all.
milo Report post Posted August 10, 2015 Kind of reminds me of Uncle Brian, only with a bright citrus rather than red fruits. Sweet, but not overly so, and the white musk seems to be behaving on me for now. Its an 'ok' blend on me, I don't dislike it, bit there are summer citrus blends that I much prefer over this. (Embalming Fluid and Knockout Drops to name a couple).
sarandipitee Report post Posted July 6, 2017 This is, hands down, favourite citrus oil I own. It's grounded by the tea and white musk but never gets schreechy like some white musk blends do. It's also incredibly long lasting and dries down to that creamy softness that was mentioned above. Definitely more tart than sweet. I love it and it gets lots of use on the hot days.
