Sparkly apple musk.

I had high hopes for this scent. I was expecting sparkly apple musk, but in the end all i got was a sour vegetable smell. Off to swaps !!!

In the bottle it's tart green apple, just like a Granny Smith when you first bite into the skin. There's something kind of fizzy about it that reminds me of a good ginger ale without the ginger bite. It's got just a hint of bitterness, too. It's the bitter I associate with apple peels. Very nice!

Wet it takes on more of a candied quality rather than smelling like natural apple flesh. It's still delicious but not as much like fruit. I can't detect any musk at all.

As it dries, something kind of dry and powdery comes into play. It retains its apple candy goodness but loses the juicy quality. The throw is strong, and the staying power lasts for several hours. Sadly, I never got to try Snow, Glass, Apples as anything other than a soap fragrance. This reminds me a little of that without the complexity. I think it's a great, fun summer fragrance I'll be wearing a lot.

Spring-y, fragrant green apple where, say, Pomona is nutty and red and autumnal. Pleasant, if not exactly thrilling.

In the decant: This may be sparkly apple musk, but there is nothing sweet here.

Wet: The crisp tartness of green apples sings out. :)

The dry-down: The green apples slowly sweeten up, as though they had been peeled and are now being sliced in to a bowl of sugar water aka a sort of simple syrup, though not that sweet. Reminds me of SGA, but sweeter and warmer. Might upgrade to a bottle. A lovely morpher for those who like fresh green apples.

Glad to have snagged this.

It does go on very green apple, but seems to soften after a little bit. It definitely reminds me of Snow, Glass, Apples in that next stage. Most bpal apple scents fade on me entirely, but this one kind of sticks around. It fades into a very nice, soft, fresh kind of musk, which I love.

There isn't much throw, but it's there, and that suits me fine.

I had high hopes for this one, and I was not disappointed. The apple in this was very definitively green apple. In the beginning the apple smell was very concentrated and not too sweet, and there was a bit of sparkle, sort of like a sparkling dessert beverage. Then it shifted and became a real, three-dimensional green apple. Or maybe bushels of them. it sort of alternated between the concentrated smell of apple peel and the sweeter smell of the inside. It was never bitter. I never really noticed the musk distinctly, or thought that this was a musky perfume in any way. I find myself reaching for this one quite a bit, especially when I can't decide which perfume to wear.

Wow, this is exactly as advertised: Crisp apples (I agree with other reviews, most definitely of the tart green variety), sparkly fizz with a slight champagne sweetness, and a layer of soft white musk. Starts off sharp and delicious, dries powdery and delicious.

In the bottle - Apple juice and apple peel

Wet on me - A pulp of mushed up apples

Dry on me - A soft slightly sweet musk

Overall - I was hoping for more apple and more staying power

a soft and clean (but not soapy), sweet apple musk. i don't get a sparking/fizzy note from it. it's sweet, soft, very girly and pretty, and not terribly complex. there are times when a scent like this is just what i would reach for, so i'm happy to have it in my collection for a nice spring or summer day.

This starts off as indeed sparkly apple softened by musk. Fairly quickly, though, the apple all but disappears on my skin, and there is just the remnants of the musk left to sniff. It retains some of the tartness of the apple, but it isn't really recognizable as "apple" to me. Which is a shame, because it's such a fun scent while wet!

I guess I am still looking for my perfect apple scent, then...

I like sparkly. I like musk. Apples disappear on my skin. We'll see how this goes!

Wet: This is so beautiful. I think the nicest apple scent I have tried from the Lab. Exactly as described. This is a really grown up apple scent. It's very clean. I really love it. If it stays this nice I might be in trouble....I don't imagine it's easy to hunt down a bottle of this.

Dry: I really really like this. It's not effervescent like I had expected from the description, "sparkly", but it's apple, and it's musk, and I like it. I can't decide whether I would really wear it enough to track down a bottle or partial.
