zankoku_zen Report post Posted November 1, 2012 A bracing, invigorating blend of lemon, lime, pink grapefruit, Italian bergamot, and peppermint will replenish your senses, refresh your mind, alleviate stress, and banish exhaustion! I got this as a tester from my CON fairy, as apparently there is a perfume oil for the Exhibit Fall Fatigue BO product, which essentially SMELLS the same.Having never tried the bath oil, I have to say that I got the BIGGEST blast of mint on wet. It was... overwhelming. I actually think there was some menthol in it as well. It smelled on wet like Vick's Vapo Rub (the lemon scented type). I would know, since I've been recovering from a cold and Vick's Vapo Rub came to the rescue. At this point, It sort of reminds me to OOF, but even mintier. As it dries, some of the more citrus elements become apparent and I definitely get the lemon, grapefruit and bergamot notes. It's more a medicinal Panacea blend than actual perfume.Very fresh, very bracing, very citrus.
OctoberGwen Report post Posted May 30, 2013 (edited) I bought this off the etsy site (thank you SO much, Lab, for offering it there.) I actually love all these notes. I'm also a TAL devotee, so no stranger to oils with a purpose. That said, this baby is really potent smell-wise! I arrived home today hot and exhausted from work and too little sleep last night. I pulled this out of my mailbox and immediately put it on...and I really did feel better almost instantly. It really cleared the cobwebs! This is definitely a workhorse oil, not a perfume: the menthol is strong, as is the bergamot, giving it a very medicinal edge. After several minutes the citrus does come through more. I think I will find this very, very useful, and it will be a great partner to my TAL Energy oil. A note of caution: don't apply this to your temples. It will make your eyes sting. Mountaingrrl00 Report post Posted August 19, 2014 The oil has this icy-hot thing happening on my skin. It smells like menthol and eucalyptus and it gives me a refreshing tingle. I don't smell the citrus, except as a slight sweetness on dry-down, but I do get a citrus *feeling* from this oil. Just a little dab does the trick; nice to be able to carry it around in an imp on hot summer days.
Auspicious Q Report post Posted August 12, 2015 I also got this as an Etsy purchase (thank you lab!). There is a great blast of very fresh zested orange and mint from this, but I don't really use it as a perfume. This is an oil to fend off terrors of hot crowded spaces and summer fatigue. It will cut like a knife through body odor and funk. The mint is strong enough to make your skin tingle and will restore a sense of refreshed energy for a time. I like to put this on the back of my neck against my hairline and on the front side of my shoulders. It's like having a tiny ice pack on the back of my neck and the dabs on my shoulders act with my deodorant to keep me from getting too funky. A great friend for the grocery store, the bus, festivals, anywhere it is hot, you are tired, and/or there are too many unwashed bodies.
sophie-au Report post Posted April 13, 2017 As other reviewers have stated, Exhibit Hall Fatigue is a working or an aromatherapy type oil rather than a perfume one. It's very invigorating, and I often swipe this on my wrists, neck and the soles of my feet when I'm tired and need to stay awake. I do wish it lasted longer, but citrus tends to be very fleeting. I'd initially bought this from etsy as it's full of citrus notes that I love. Sadly, the peppermint drowns them out. But I still love its effects and would buy more if I could.
