milo Report post Posted February 26, 2010 I hope I got this in the right place... Thanks to Jen for frimping me a sniffie of this! Wet, this is a green, fresh floral, the kind I like. This is not cloying or jasmine-esque at all, more of a lily or lily of the valley. It dries to a slightly sour, powdery floral, which is making me think that there is a bit of rose here. That being said, I don't mind powder in small doses, and this would be lovely spring.
myth Report post Posted May 5, 2010 Mmm, this one is interesting. I like it. Dark, resiny, spicy. Some wood? Pepper? Not quite sure but it is right up my alley. Developing a bite as it dries, but not bad. That might be some bitter citrus rind lurking in the background adding that bite. Manages to evoke metal without being metallic. Second try: immediate strong fruit, turning into sour wine. This time I thought I also smelled a heady floral. As it dries at first I got something woody-resiny, and then it began to turn metallic. A very shifty scent, indeed. Final dry-down is wine and metal over dark dry wood.
zankoku_zen Report post Posted October 23, 2013 Deyania, you are such a morpher you. So on wet at first you smell like a green fresh floral, with tinges of fruitiness. I think you have some pomegranate. But underneath it all, there is a woody, dark resin spiciness. As you dry, I get more of that pomegranate/wood, with a tinge of blackened metal. I got this frimped in a swap, and thank you to the generous forumite for the tester!
