anaengel Report post Posted December 30, 2014 The father of all dandy aristocrat vampires: Aqua Admirabilis with polished boot leather and blood. I got this last year, I think, from a forumite. I do treasure the decant and am gad it was sent to me. When it runs out, I know I'll be tearing my hair out to find a bottle. This starts off with a strong aftershave type scent. It reminds me a lot of when my dad wore Brut deodorant when I was a little kid. The scent brings it back so strongly that I can see the green bottle with the silver tag and everything for the aftershave portion. After that, I get the leather mingling in. By the end, it's another pretty beaten in leather scent. It's like the leather has been kept in good condition with oils so that it's added those scents with it. This one lasts a while with the leather clinging to me. It also gives a strong throw. The boy said he could smell it a while away and that it was too much for him to try on.
