Moon of Ice

Recommended Posts

Frost-crusted winter flowers, white pine, eucalyptus, and traditional lunar oils.

In the bottle: Icy eucalyptus.

Wet: There's a hint now of the pine and the florals.

The dry-down: And in the end, everything has blended together in a lovely icy scent that is certainly one of my fav ice scents by Beth.

Pine, snowy florals and the barest hint of eucalyptus that smells like mint. When I first apply, it's a loud frosty floral. Once dry however it becomes this delicate scent with the flowers moving firmly into the background. The crisp pine and lunar oils mingle together ever so softly and the whiffs of mint morph every now and then. :wub2:

In the bottle: the first scent I get out of this is a little lemony/floral-y, along with a very light mint (probably the eucalyptus).

Wet on skin: This is still a light scent - more of the winter flowers, less of the eucalyptus at this point"

Dried down: Still light florals with a hint of mint.

Throw: this is a very light scent - I don't get much throw from it, but there's a hint of flower and mint in the air. I do have to lift my wrists up to really smell it, though.

Verdict: **** 1/* . I really like this scent a lot, but there's something about it I can't quite place that's keeping me from giving it a five. I'm not quite sure what it is, except I feel like it falls just short of other scents I have given a five to. ::shrug:: I still like it a lot, though.

Soft, gentle icy moon. Pretty.

There's a soft mint in this that reminds me of Green Tree Viper, but this moon also reminds me a little of Banded Sea Snake's fogginess.

Maybe it's the eight years in the bottle, but no notes stand out. I just get a very blended and calming soft mint. Love.
