MonkeysInk Report post Posted November 23, 2015 Morocco! It smells like delicious sandalwood that's been warmed in the sun. I adore this one, and I wear it in the dead of winter when I'm ready for it to be summer again. Share this post Link to post
nathanielhebert Report post Posted November 23, 2015 Favourite sandalwood at the moment is from the dead leaves series, Dead Leaves, Black Pepper, and Sandalwood. In a similar vein but on the spring tip of things, Post-Mortem Laureatus is greener in spirit, and lists the notes as white sandalwood and twining ivy. LiberAmoris Report post Posted March 12, 2016 I'm loving Grooming Scene in a Brothel: Vanilla saffron, carnation absolute, bois de rose, myrrh, and sandalwood incense. My other recent favorite is Crimson: The red of an open artery, the red of congealing blood, the red of a scarlet tomb: burgundy musk, bitter clove, crushed saffron, red sandalwood, and red oudh. Any other reccs with sandalwood? Share this post Link to post
lady_pandora Report post Posted March 12, 2016 My current sandalwood faves are Sinus Amoris, Brown Jenkin, Mini Magdalene, and probably something I'll kick myself for forgetting. Share this post Link to post
Teamama Report post Posted March 12, 2016 Brown Jenkin for sure, The Little Wooden Doll, Rakshasa, and Volcano in Springtime from the 2016 Lupers. Of the 4, Brown Jenkin seems to have the greatest proportion of sandalwood. Share this post Link to post
LizziesLuck Report post Posted March 12, 2016 I am in love with Volcano in Springtime, vanilla sandalwood heaven. Share this post Link to post

LiberAmoris Report post Posted March 12, 2016 Ah yes, Brown Jenkin, Sinus Amoris, and Volcano in Springtime are all wonderful. I'm still so grateful that I don't pick up any lotus in Volcano in Springtime! Share this post Link to post
_surya Report post Posted April 4, 2016 I am in love with Volcano in Springtime, vanilla sandalwood heaven. Ditto! Me three. Edging out the instructional manual as my favorite luper. I reach for it every day. Share this post Link to post
Heather Broder Report post Posted April 4, 2016 I am waiting on volcano in springtime. Not very patiently I might add. Share this post Link to post

Teamama Report post Posted July 22, 2016 Brown Jenkin for sure, The Little Wooden Doll, Rakshasa, and Volcano in Springtime from the 2016 Lupers. Of the 4, Brown Jenkin seems to have the greatest proportion of sandalwood. Australian Sandalwood single note is a dream come true. And I'm liking Paramatman. The orange blossom is pretty strong at first, but the sandalwood lass and lasts. Share this post Link to post
MonkeysInk Report post Posted July 30, 2016 I'm wearing The Unquiet Grave today. Lovely, chilly florals + sandalwood. Perfect for a hot summer day! Share this post Link to post
iskhavin Report post Posted October 5, 2016 So far, Lyonesse and aged Plunder have been some of my favorites. Morocco is great on my boyfriend but there's something in it that doesn't work well on me (maybe the saffron). I'd love some suggestions for sandalwood/musk and sandalwood/spice blends, with minimal florals. Share this post Link to post
maudlinrose Report post Posted October 6, 2016 Velvet ... Prefer it aged tho, too much fresh sandalwood smells like pencil shavings on me, at least when wet... Share this post Link to post
Elspethdixon Report post Posted October 6, 2016 The Mouse's Long and Sad Tale is a really lovely vanilla sandalwood. Share this post Link to post
Bassmastadroog Report post Posted November 4, 2016 The White Rider. It is it. Share this post Link to post
Haltija Report post Posted November 5, 2016 The White Rider. It is it. One of my all time favorite GC scents. It's absolutely perfect and since you like it, hunt down The Mark from this past Luper release because it's the exact same, just a gorgeous dollop of sweet vetiver. PERFECTION Share this post Link to post
unxolve Report post Posted November 5, 2016 Volcano in Springtime (THE BEACH with a scoop of vanilla ice cream), Brown Jenkin (sweet, light, beachy, woody), Paramatman (suntan lotion with a creamy orange-banana milkshake)!! Also love Sin (not heavy in the sandalwood but a gorgeous, rounded vanilla-spice amber!) and Gingerbread Sin (...the perfect christmas cookie...) Share this post Link to post
Teamama Report post Posted June 14, 2017 Brown Jenkin: why don't I just wear it every day until the weather turns cold again (with Fig & White Sandalwood HG?) Share this post Link to post
