[No additional description provided.] I get mainly tinsel and amber. Honestly, it was slightly masculine on wet, and then the amber comes peeping through.

Lumps of pumpkin fudge, marshmallow glop, cookie crumbs, caramel smears, and bits of sticky fuzz. Brown sugar, cookies, pumpkin an and a whiff of candy. This smells like sugary pumpkin cookies. I sort of want to eat my hair.

While creating a 4lb mother bottle of Snake Oil, I had a brain fart and accidentally dropped honey accord, extra patchouli, and dragons blood into it. While it is another Horrible Error, I figured that it might be a Horrible Error that some people might enjoy. So wet and early dry down this was sort of cola like syrupy deliciousness but now is hitting me with some heavy patchouli, but not the dirty hippy kind, with just a hint of dragons blood. A bit of perfumey sweetness that I would bet might be the honey accord over the sugared snake oil. This is patchouli forward, but it is fresh from the mail and not the long dry down. I will try to update with long drydown results. This will almost certainly age most gloriously and fans of patchouli that is not overwhelmy or head shopy should definitely try it. I myself am hoping for a bit more dragons blood! Edit: this is already drying down to a sweet mashup of patch, perfumey dragons blood and sweet snake oil. Snake oil is backdrop, not dominant, honey does not to all weird, in fact is almost undetectable to me. This has blended superbly into a fascinating and almost enchanting scent even though I *whispers* do not generally enjoy snek oil. Edit: late dry down, a well rounded almost, nutty idk hos to describe it, full patchouli non dirty, with only the lightest kiss of snake oil and dragons blood. Eta: tried my second bottle to see if there was any variation but it dried the same way, I may just amp patch (I usually actually normally avoid it in blends bc I cannot stand the dirty hippy variety, so I cannot speak to if that is normal for me.) As earlier the dry down is a so pleasant mish mash if sweet snake oilyness as a backdrop for delicious chewy patch with only the faintest breath of dragon blood.

When you need to be reminded of the kindness in the world - of the small daily acts of heroism, selflessness, and compassion that surround and sustain us. Rose otto, rosehip oil, honey, beeswax absolute, honey myrtle, jasmine sambac, coconut oil, crushed rose petals and tiny red rosebuds. When I was looking at descriptions of the 45-specific scents, this was one of the ones I *knew* I needed to have. In dark times, it can be incredibly difficult to hold on to hope. Although TAL oils aren't about fragrance, I happen to be a person for whom sense of smell plays a factor in lots of aspects of my life, well beyond what perfume I decide to wear for the day. To that end, Honey Rose smells like roses, just passed their prime, wilting gently in a summer garden, surrounded by other signifiers of high summer, like errant greenery that sprouts, tenaciously, in sidewalk cracks, and maybe a touch of something more herbal, which I'm betting the honey myrtle in the mix. Whether because of this complex scent or -at least as likely- the intent meant to be invoked, wearing a bit of this on my skin conjures strong feelings of empathy but also a bittersweetness that comes from feeling gratitude when life has been especially hard. This oil is the delicious cake, home made and frosted with care, that someone brings you when a loved one has crossed over. The warm hug given by a sweet neighbor when they hear you lost your job. It's a reprieve that casts no illusions that "everything is going to be just fine so look on the bright side" but rather that in the midst of tremendous adversity, there is indeed a port in the storm. Which is intense, but a truthful solace we need.

A solemn, pale child standing amongst snow-laden tombs as wet flakes descend from a leaden sky. I have not tried the atmosphere spray. In the decant: I can smell dirt, moss, champagne, and stone. Wet: The dirt and moss are the first notes to make an appearance on my skin, and then I get some stone, a bit of sweetness, and the effervescent champagne Minh Scent mentioned in her review in the Etsy thread. The snow is cool, but it isnt the sweet Snow White snow note, nor is it really minty or pine-y. I also think there might be a gentle, pale floral note residing in the background. Dry: A bright, slushy, effervescent snow note dominates with a bit of floral sweetness, moss, and stone behind it. I cant help but thinking of the Labs champagne note whenever I sniff this. I thought that the dirt had disappeared, but it ended up returning after a few hours, although the moss (which is much stronger than before) and snow are the main players on me. Verdict: I really enjoyed the wet phase because I am a fan of the Labs soil note. I wish that that note had remained as strong as it was initially and that the (Spanish?) moss were less prominent on me. Still, this is a very unique, atmospheric snow scent that isnt like any of the others I have in my collection. Im keeping my bottle.

[No additional description provided.] Light, perfumey pumpkin. It completely lacks the heavy buttery spiciness associated with some of the pumpkin blends. Instead, its got a light, almost citrusy perfume edge to it. It's the flesh of pumpkins picked before they are ripe, and distilled into a pumpkin flower. You know those blossoms that become the pumpkin? Yeah, that's what this makes me think of.

Oak bark, pine pitch, and blood red mistletoe berries. So a ton of pine, hints of wood and red berries (non sweet just sort of bright curranty goodness). It smells like the woods in Christmas. Which I am honestly craving coolness in this 90F but feels like 102F swamp of a capitol. Insert all appropriate swamp, Hunger Games Capitol, climate change jokes here. I'm ready for some nuclear winter.

A legendary Assyrian queen, often identified with Sammu-Ramat, the wife of Shamshi-Adad V, she was believed to be the daughter of the goddess Atargatis. Her youth was filled with mythic adventure, and her otherworldly beauty and voluptuous sexuality ensured her two advantageous marriages. When she took the reins of power of Empress of Assyria, she expanded her kingdom by conquering much of Mesopotamia and Asia. She beautified and revitalized Babylon, and implemented improvements in Nineveh that helped to moderate the flow of the Tigris. She was renowned for her military and political prowess, as well as her ferocious and merciless sexual appetite. Red musk, pomegranate, orange blossom, and melon. Much like the HG, this reminds me of wine. I think sangria is an apt description. I don't feel like the red musk is overwhelming, and the melon quietly hangs out in the back. This really carries, too. I sprayed it a few rooms away, and I can smell it slowly waft in.

Amber, fig, vanilla flower, oak, patchouli, vetiver, dragon’s blood resin, leather, and neroli. Unfortunately, I don't like any one of these notes enough to enjoy this, nor can I pinpoint them well enough to say which stands out. This ends up smelling like generic old-lady perfume. This kinda reminds me of my grandmother. Maybe Chantilly Lace? Looking at the notes for it, they share some similarities. It's sweet and nice, kinda powdery. Nothing too heady or overpowering.

[No additional description provided.] When I saw this on Etsy, I pointed it out to my husband. He doesn't care to wear scents, but he likes Atmos Sprays and the description had several favorite notes of his. When the bottle arrived and we gave it a test spray, we both exclaimed, "It smells just like Christmas!" Just a touch of cinnamon. The sugar cookie dominates, with a good background of egg nog to give it depth. Good throw and durability. It was so good we ordered another bottle!

Amber, fig, vanilla flower, oak, patchouli, vetiver, dragons blood resin, leather, and neroli. I haven't smelled the perfume version of this, but the hairgloss has rapidly become one of my favorites! This is a very sophisticated blend-reminiscent of "Yet, She Persisted" from last year in that it has a patchouli/fig base-yet, entirely it's own thing. The fig/patchouli fade and blend with the woodiness of the oak and the sweetness of the dragon's blood, amber, and neroli, balanced by the vetiver and grounded by the leather. It doesn't have a huge throw when applied on wet hair, but an extra spritz when it's dried makes it more long-lasting. This is one that lasts through the day and renews itself when whetted in the next shower even after a shampoo.

A general-purpose luck invoking blend, great for everyday boosts in good fortune. The components include bourbon vanilla absolute, vanilla oleoresin, Ceylon cinnamon, almond oil, and pulverized pyrite. (Brian took care of the pulverizing.) This smells AMAZING. Like a sexy cinnamon roll. I immediately want donuts when I use it. Like 10 boxes full. How does it work? Really well. I had a candle dressed in it, then after just handling it, unlit, walked outside and my neighbor asked me to dry and fold his laundry for $20. The same day Nate got a ton of good advice as far as money went. It helped a looooot. I love the scent, and I use it on days when we need a boost or everything seems to be going wrong. Or for other people... I find it helps them too. Also the pyrite is super pretty! I'm not sensitive skin wise so I rubbed it on my skin and his without issue.
