    Jacob's Ladder

Jacob's Ladder In vial, warm and sweet, almost boozy. On skin, round, warm, and sweet with a tart edge. I'm not too familiar with the majority of the notes involved, so it's hard for me to pick them a part, but I can say that overall it has a pleasant glow with masculine leanings and a little bit of spice. [4 - Really Like] This is nice, but too masculine for me.

    F5

F5 In vial, aloe and citrus. Wet on skin, very light and clean. Predominately citrus, paired with a quieter aloe. The other notes are much fainter, although clearly present as part of the whole. Overall, I can't help but think of dish detergent. As it dries, the aloe and mint amp up, changing the dish detergent into toothpaste. [3 - Like] Refreshing, like ice cold lemonade, but unmistakably clean to the default of smelling like cleaners or toothpaste.

    Baobhan Sith

Baobhan Sith The strongest note is fresh grapefruit and in the background there is a little bit of tea and ginger. Invigorating! [4 - Really Like] This was a practically empty, but it smells so great that I'll definitely have to try and get a fuller imp of it to test more fully.

    I Died For Beauty

I Died For Beauty In vial, heady headache-inducing florals. Wet, a dizzying mixture of aggressive notes, sultry and commandingly feminine. This is so strong, I'm having trouble peeling the notes apart. [2 - Dislike] This smells like a slutty college girl.

    Forbidden Fruit

Forbidden Fruit In vial, bubblegum. Wet, it's all light flowers with an amber citrus background. I can see how this could be considered an innocent fragrance, but my mind almost always connects florals with old ladies, and it's doing it here, too. This mix makes me think of old lady perfume, or old lady soap. It has a clean, powdery feel to it. [3 - Like] This makes me think of some nice old ladies I once knew, back when my mother used to drag me to the Sunday service.

    Euterpe

Euterpe In vial, bright zesty floral. On skin, all I get initially is musk. Dry, it's a peppy, almost peppery, floral with musk in the background. [3 - Like] Nice, although, this seems to be one of the headache-inducing florals on me.

    Eos

Eos In vial, first buttercup and then jasmine. On skin, jasmine is the strongest note in this (as expected). This is warm, soothing, and matronly. The notes work well together, although it's hard to smell anything but jasmine in this. This is round and a bit heavy and has a powdery feel when dry. [3 - Like] Lovely, but too maternal for my comfort. As this is predominately jasmine, I'm sure I could find a different jasmine blend that feels more me.

    Cordelia

Cordelia In vial, dirty musk. Wet on skin, green tea and lemon, with traces of earth which becomes tree-like. A floral musk arises. This has an astringent quality to it. Dry, it feels dirty and astringent with faint whiffs of the other notes that all seem to be mingling together. [2 - Dislike] Not at all what I was expecting, to the detriment of it.

    Cathode

Cathode In vial, fresh and herbal. On skin, similar, except tree notes come in. This feels fresh, natural, and light. As it wears, it actually becomes stronger, and has a warmth to it. Overall, it has an empowering spirit about it. [4 - Really Like] I think my husband's going to really like this one, as he's drawn to crisp and natural smells.

    Bayou

Bayou In vial, a bright, aquatic, green floral. On skin, a thick mature floral that is gender neutral. This almost reminds me of a fragrant men's aftershave, sharply fresh and masculine. [3 - Like] Too masculine for my wearing, perhaps my husband might like it.

    Athens

Athens In vial, pungent body odor. On skin, BO and something sharply sweet. Thankfully, the unpleasantness starts to fade. I think it was the initial interaction between all the notes that made for the awkward beginning. Now that it wears, it becomes tart but sweet, warm, and mildly floral. [2 - Dislike] That initial phase was awful.

    Katharina

Katharina I was beginning to think I didn't care for apricot blends, but the apricot in this is lovely paired with the orange blossom and white musk. It's warm with a delicate sweetness. It smells like freshly ripened fruit, just begging to be eaten. [4 - Really Like] This feels young and fun. It's borderline foody.

    Black Hellebore

Black Hellebore Very green! I love that. Green and herbal, with airy light florals in the background. Refreshing and feminine. This very much feels like a fistful of fresh cut flowers, picked wild on a crisp Spring day. [4 - Really Like] Fresh and vibrant, that's how I like my florals.

    Asphodel

Asphodel A light, fresh floral, modest and delicate. I can't quite decide which flower it could be, but I love how simple this blend is. Unassumingly lovely. [3 - Like] A feminine floral that doesn't take charge.

    Hearth

Hearth My imp is labeled 2004, but it smells exactly as 2005 should, so I think it was mislabeled. Mmm, delicious! This is everything the description promises. Honeyed buttered chestnuts (with just a touch of almond), complete with subtle wood and smoke undertones. This scent would be perfect on a cold winter's day. After wearing this a while, I can't help but notice that it smells just like Cockaigne. [4 - Really Like] Happily, I like this as much as I'd hoped I would.

    Maenad

Maenad This smells like sweet candy that quickly turns bitter. The sweetness is a mix of strawberry and orange, the bitterness reminds me of orange rind. Florals chime in, complicating the mix. Overall, it feels like a sweet, yet bitter, floral candy. [2 - Dislike] I'm not too fond of this pairing of fruit with flowers.

    Lady MacBeth

Lady Macbeth Whoa, berry wine, with a very bitter aftertaste! Wet on skin, it smells as if I spilled booze on myself. Sweet berry wine that's almost candy-like in nature. As it dries, it feels like a berry version of The Hamptons. The sweetness has a tart quality that nearly makes you salivate. [4 - Really Like] This is sassy and assertive. Fun without being childlike.

    The Scales of Deprivation

The Scales of Deprivation This matches the description perfectly; it certainly is thin, dark, and shadowed. It's a light fresh citrus, with a slight mint feel to it. As it dries, it feels like a faint musky floral. It's a very weak scent, but it is lovely. [3 - Like] It's so faint, I can barely smell it without putting my nose to it.

    Sheol

Sheol A bouquet of light flowers, heavily floral but with a surprisingly airy touch. As it dries, it begins to transform into something entirely different. I'm not familiar with these notes, but it does have a somber feel to it. Somehow, I'm reminded of tea. [3 - Like] I love the light florals, but together, they are a bit too much.

    Tintagel

Tintagel First, mulled wine. Then just wine. Berries come in and become wine berries. The berries spice up, then does the wine. A spicy berry wine. Now a hint of warm leather. This is evoking weird imagery for me. It's like holiday spices with leather. A biker's Christmas, perhaps? [2 - Dislike / 3 - Like] : I liked it up until the leather. I'm not into leather notes.
  21. MaidenGenevive

    Titus Andronicus

Titus Andronicus Warm, with faint hints of sweetness, citrus and pine. It's refreshing, yet round with a zesty kick. [4 - Really Like] I enjoy the layered complexity of this scent.

    Twilight

Twilight In vial, bitter, almost pungent. On skin, the lavender and jasmine are duking it out. These both tend to be very strong on their own and they are fighting for central attention. As it dries, they seem to accept their union and they mesh. The honeysuckle adds a note of fresh sweetness. [3 - Like] I'm not sure that I like them blended, I generally prefer these as single note fragrances.
  23. MaidenGenevive

    Urania

Urania In vial, bittersweet floral. On skin, freshly cleaned skin, soap. A cool refreshing floral that smells powdery when dry. [3 - Like] I enjoy the scent, but, I like my perfume to smell more than shower fresh.

    Wrath

Wrath I only caught the black pepper, clove, and cinnamon in it's very first stages, and even then they weren't as present as I had hoped they'd be. The strongest note throughout is dragon's blood, which is a warm floral on me. This is a lovely scent, but it doesn't feel angry. It's a somewhat mildly spicy floral that's mostly warm and gentle, like coming into a comforting home on a cold day. [1 - Hate] .. [2 - Dislike] .. [3 - Like] .. [4 - Really Like] .. [5 - Love] 4 : It's lovely, although I wish the other notes were more present.

    Gomorrah

Gomorrah In vial, this is gritty, dark, and somewhat earthy. Wet, the herbs become almost piney, like a warm forest. As it dries, there is more of a slight sweetness to it. Wearing further, it feels like a bag of freshly dried herbs crossed with a well made wreath - sweet, but bitter and also slightly astringent; overall feeling very natural. [1 - Hate] .. [2 - Dislike] .. [3 - Like] .. [4 - Really Like] .. [5 - Love] 4 : Not at all what I expected, but I still really liked it.
