oh. my. god. Holy grail scent by surprise??? I think so. This is stunning, it is definately along the same vein as mme moriarty, lighter... VERY wearable. Gods, I need gallons of this ; D

I bought this one blind, on a whim... and I am so glad I did, its absolutely stunning. In the wet stages, I get boozy honey.. which isnt an oddity for me since I amp both.. and I kind of feared that was all she wrote.. But then on drydown its a sweet, fruity, girlish, boozy scent. Its very soft and pretty.

Oooo this is nice... Wet I was a little afraid of it, it had a very strong patchouli-ish, but not a pleasant type smell.... but in the drydown it has turned into a red musk, leather dream!! This is like Loviatar amped.

this is all rose geranium and black amber on me... It smells ... okay, dont laugh at me... JUST like if you were standing next to an outside dryer vent.. its the mixture of hot air, dryer sheets and clean clothes. I LOVE THAT SMELL!!!! So this, yes is pure win!

05 version I have a few other versions on the way in the mail and I hope this isnt a fortelling, this is the lightest thing Ive ever smelled from BPAL... it literally is scentless in the bottle and no more than a faint whisper on the skin

Sniffing the imp this is RICH, very buttery .. almost like a buttercream... Wet on skin it stays rich and buttery for moments and then the booze comes forward and mingles with it.. its a foody booze... has a slight burnt tinge to it in the drydown, then fades very quickly. Morphed like mad on me... but liked it

I get a nice mellow vanilla flavored jasmine from this... its not the type of jasmine that amps screaming cheap air freshner... its soft and vanilla spicy. The cinnamon is almost a side note, I only get a true sense of it when huff hard... it just spices it up a bit.

attuning was a TAL that I was gifted, it wasnt one that I wouldve picked out on my own... funny though its the one that I've been reaching for alot lately... scent-wise it is gorgeous, its sharp lavender but it softens beautifully, I would be happy to wear this as a scent alone... but in dream-work Ive found this to be very effective when asking for answers to problems that are being difficult.. even if I dont fully remember the dream I always wake with peace and resolve to do whatever needs to be done in the situation. I really love attuning in all its facets.

I can imagine this would be like what the cake smashing smelled like! I do get all of the seperate scents, the cake, the cream cheese frosting, dorian predominately on the throw, snake oil adding spicy and a slight bit of doc constantine. Its lovely... Its lilith victoria for foodies, and while Im not a foodie person (hubby is, thats why I got this) this is one I can definately love!!! Very nice!! My only gripe is it fades super-fast.. I will definately be making this into a spray ;D

pure and utter fail on me.. smells like flat spicy pepsi... maybe it needs to settle a bit

why on earth does this remind me of original snake charmer??? none of the notes are similar, yet on me layered with snake oil... its a very close cousin. So of course I love it!

I bought this as a good luck charm, to maybe bring me a lil good cause things have been pretty crap lately... I can not comment to its effectiveness on that front, but it *does* alleviate depression almost immediately on me, and I wasnt even expecting that... I didnt read the blurb when buying this.. "has no hanna" is all I needed to know... So I was suprised to read that "alleviate depression" part. Its a super strong floral of the jasmine/ylang ylang variety but it doesnt seem to be overpoweringly gross like they can be when theyre really strong. I dont know how to explain it... very nice. Happy juice ;D

This was the scent I was most interested in the summers end update, and the only one Ive acquired so far... I'm so happy it was this one. The rose is tempered beneath the moss and cypress.. I love rose, so it wouldnt have bothered me if it was loud and proud, but for this it works so well. I have to concentrate to remember the notes in this one... "remember its dry leaves and white sandalwood, rock moss, cypress, and dry, lifeless roses." Because my silly brain just screams out "FRANKINCENSE AND ROSES YAY!!!" Thats what it smells like to me, and it is so lovely and evokes the spirit of the poem so well.

(with a slightly stuffy nose) I just sold off a bottle of 13, (not this one) that I last minute sniffed, and I was like WHY OH WHY!! But the transaction was final and there it went... I thought this would be a good replacement for that chocolate craving. Its different, or rather, since this is an original.. the other one was different. I'm getting slight bit bitter chocolate, with a fruity/floral coating. Its nice, not the heavy chocolate that I was hoping for... this is more a summer 13 methinks.

I couldnt figure out what it was about this that made me all happy swoony... It is like a burts bees smell... it has a touch of the scent in burts bees apricot baby massage lotion, the one I used on my lilith when she was a newborn <3 I adore this!!

This is nice!! The black opium is nice and heady, sweetened up a bit by the honeysuckle. The vetiver is barely discernable, but gives the whole blend a bit of heaviness. Very complex but lovely.

06 Smut I had been wanting this for a while and happened upon it in a very generous swap... Ever since I saw comparisons to snake charmer/snake oil its been a must have. Upon intial sniff from bottle I'm getting a lot of booze, strong booze, like a brown liquor (which I dont drink cause I get .. mm... silly:lol:) I do like the booze on my skin, Im a big fan of the strong wanda/perversion/lilith variety, but this is different its a hardcore booze. It softens on the skin to something that yes, does actually resemble snake charmer in a way, the powdery musk, but that booze makes it altogether different. Its like a lighter inebriated snake charmer on me and I'm definately not dissapointed. Stunning!

The almonds in this put me off. It really doesnt sit well with my nose and makes me a slight bit quesy. Swaps.

Scared of anything with lavender or is classified as "mens cologne" but this is really nice. The lavender is soft, I get the lime, its all blended very well and does smell like a very nice high-end cologne. The kind that I can tolerate though! (*coughs* Please noone kill me for this, but it very slightly resembles Brut, in a way, which my first ever boyfriend wore )

Wow!!! I was frimped this, and upon initial sniff in imp I was thinking "meh. its one of those common floral/incensey blends" But tried it on anyways upon skin initially I was thinking "meh. too floral. Not me" But then, as I was doing housework,, that tiny drop of oil on my outer hand (could you imagine the wrists?? more heat??) BLOOMED! I keep getting hit with the most creamy, beautiful spicy violet. I didnt get violets at first and I love violets to the point of tears. So beautiful, I love this one. *adding to wishlist*

This is gorgeous!!! Its so much like an incense I once had, burning. I get mostly myrhh, a bit of fir. Sweetness. Its got a heck of a throw, a beautiful swirling heady, slinky throw. Who frimped me this?? (I need to start marking it down!) Whomever... Thank you!!!! edited to say: Aperotos Eros is one of my favorite poems, and I think this blend evokes the feeling very well.

I am definately very sloth. But vetiver is definately not me! I get vetiver and more vetiver in this, and nothing to temper it, so it turns to straight burning rubber.

Green, with banana skin and aquatics. Very wet and lush. Aquatics turn soapy on me. This is as well. No sign of my beloved amber. Ah well...

CT 2 : DCXVII (617) I have had this for a while (2 years) ...and try as I might, I'm always at a loss to put into description what this smells like... So forgive me if I sound like a babbleing fool, I'm going to attempt. This in the bottle, is very medicinal smelling. Almost like a campho-phenique, it smells green. On the skin at first it is smashed up wet peppermint leaves. VERY true to the leaf smell, exactly like huffing a handful of them.. After a while on drydown it is still the mint, with a strange powder behind it, I cannot for the life of me find anything else to compare it to. Its odd, definately odd. I cant quite figure it out!!!
