  1. I'm not fond of anything pear scented, but I thought I'd better try tbis 'just in case'. Just as I suspected, this starts out sickly sweet pear, and continues on as the same uber sweet creamy pear. Thankfully it fades fast.

  2. I use the bath oils as an after shower moisturizer. They really work great and leave the skin very soft in a non greasy way. As for the scent, it smells like the most decadent Belgian chocolate. On, its more like brownie batter with a creamy vibe, as though someone is making the buttercream icing along with the brownies. This is not a strong scent, which is good, as I think it would be much too foody. Now its just a soft cocoa buttercream. This would layer well with other cocoa blends, Boomslang, Velvet. I like this, but probably just need the decant.

  3. I don't know what kudzu smells like, but I'm assuming it's all kinds of awful as the other notes I like in this blend. I'm getting a dark, gritty, aggressive vetiver-like sharp, herbal, 'you get the picture' note. NOT a fan.

  4. Not sure what Hungary Water is, but I'm getting something lemony fresh with a touch of spice. I like this, it kind of reminds me of Ring of Roses buttercream that Lush used to make. Maybe they still do? Kind of lemony with a touch of rose, I like this, but I have fresh scents I like better.

  5. I thought I wouldn't like this, as it smells strongly of white chocolate in the bottle, which I'm not a fan of. Eating yes, but not smelling like it. On, it's a muted vanilla with a touch of rose and the barest hints of white chocolate. Not sure why, but this is kiiind of similar to Perle Von Mauren, like expensive lotion. This is good, as I love PVM. I'll keep the decant, as I do enjoy this, but no need to upgrade, as I have PVM.

  6. First of all, I have to say I'm REALLY picky about 'pink' blends, especially those with strawberry in them. Right away, I can tell this is going to be a win on my skin. I'm getting a beautiful strawberry, with musky greenery in the background. These are like tiny wild strawberries, sweet and decadent, though they do look so very innocent. Sugar cane is always a miss to me, but here I've found an exception. There is only slight sweetness, and it mostly smells like the sweetness from cotton candy. This is a more 'grown up' strawberry blend to me. It reminds me of Loligoth a lot, which is the only other strawberry blend that works for me. That with Midnight on the Midway are the only 'pink' scents I can wear. I must try the perfume now to see if it is a win as well. I love surprises! :wub2:

OK, spoke too soon. After a bit, it does get a bit cloying, and the musky vibe, unfortuneately disappears. I like it still, but not the 'omg must find a bottle now', like. The decant will be enough for when I want to smell girly. I sure do wish the musk stayed.

  7. I don't know how a rose can be sweet and sour at the same time, but this one is. After a bit, it is more sweet, sickeningly so, I don't think I've smelled a rose this sweet before. Something fake like vanilla extract (not the real kind) is coming through. This is like rose candy, something I definitely don't want to smell like. I can imagine a bratty child smelling like this. A little goes a long way. Not for me.

  8. I'm really getting lots of tobacco flower here, a note that I find strong and aggressive. After a bit, something fresh pokes through, but the whole effect is far too cologney and strong on me. I'm hoping it will wash off as I'm going out.

  9. Very masculine, but in a good way. This is like Perversion's even sexier older brother, who's BAD ass. I love the rum and gritty tobacco here, and the teak rounds everything out nicely. This is definitely bottle worthy to me, but it is a bit too masculine, so I'd never wear it. If I were to smell this on a guy, he had better watch out.

  10. This doesn't smell very good in the bottle, kind of like fruity chocolate. On, very nice. I'm getting the tea, frankincense, a touch of balsam, and something sweet just to ground it all together. The whole effect is a fresh and resinous blend. The only problem I have with it, is that it fades very fast on my skin, which is not how the bath oils normally behave on my skin. I'll certainly enjoy the decant and looking forward to trying out the corresponding perfume.

  11. I'm getting a plant-like vibe here. Like fleshy green insides of a thick-leafed greeny plant along with a touch of spicy carnation. Honey is also coming out. This is not playing well with my skin, and I'm smelling kind of like what an elderly lady would smell like. Not a lot of passion here for this blend.

  12. Strong snow note at first, but a very pleasant one. This is reminiscent of the recent Yule Ondurdis, though this one fades much more quickly. While it lasts, this is a fresh green floral, and I do like it, but not bottle worthy due to the fast fade factor.

  13. Odd, the notes in the description are not what I expected this blend to smell like. I'm getting a fresh citrus and a touch of honey. I really thought there was pom here, as I'm getting a dusty note that I typically get with pom. I really like the beginning freshness of this blend, but the dustiness is pretty much ruining it for me.

  14. Very STRONG at first. This vetiver is DARK and pretty much takes over everything in it's path. After a bit, honey with the vetiver, and stays that way so far. This is not a good combination on me, and a word of warning, a little goes a long way.
