  1. I love eating pomegranate, it's like candy to me. I guess I like it better blended with other notes, though, usually something dark like dirt, musk or incense. By itself, it's much too fruity. Upon smelling it, I do recognize this is in many blends. The lab likes pomegranate!

  2. I love this! At first, grass and lavender, which is pretty nice in it's own right. As time goes on, it must be everything meshing together, but it's almost like a mild, non-smoky pipe tobacco. I'm not getting any of the notes on their own, now, but seemingly blending so well together. It's hypnotic, and relaxing, and my spidy senses didn't let me down, as I went straight to bottle with this one.

  3. The notes sounded lovely on this one, but it's a bit of a surprise, in that it smells nothing like I thought it would. I'm getting a fruity vibe, and a tropical feel to it. It's warm, a bit of something sweet like honey and a touch of fruit. This is so weird, it reminds me of Imaginer, not that it smells the same, but Imaginer's description was nothing like how it smelled to me. It's OK, but I don't need any more. I will age the imp for curiosity sake.

  4. I really shouldn't have gotten a decant of this one, as white musk is not my friend, but I was curious. Screeching musk, of course, very similar to body sprays of the cheap variety. I don't get any vanilla or orris, which may have saved the blend for me. I have both Pediophobia and Zorya, and don't see the similarities, apart from there may be a touch of this particular musk in them. Not for me.

  5. Dark, aggressive musk and lavender at first. Dries to something like a stronger Snake Oil, musky blend without the vanilla. Reminds me of a lot of bpal blends that have an 'edge' to them, like Crimson, Shadow in the Elevator, Panther Moon, etc. There is nothing really unique about this blend, until a few hours later, when a get whiffs of soft lavender over a slight musky base. I have a lot of blends like this, so don't need any more, and I barely smell it when it does get quite lovely.

  6. Quite lovely at first. Soft lavender with a hint of sweet strawberry gum. Not a fresh as a brand new piece of gum, but slightly chewed. Fades into a dusty, sweet scent, like someone sprinkled chalk over the strawberry and lavender. I was quite excited about this at first, but the end phase ruins this one for me.

  7. Red musk and some kind of red fruit on me. I was in a red musk phase several years ago, and got burnt out from using it too much, and sold off all my red musk blends. I'm finding I miss it now, but I only like them in small doses. This one reminds me of Hollywood Babylon, one I really don't like at all. I will hang onto this imp and see how it ages, as the notes sound lovely.

  8. Oude does scare me, but this sounded so much like my beloved Khrysee, that I had to at least give it a try. In the imp and wet, very much oude, and faint orange blossom and vanilla in the background. Dry, very similar to Khrysee, only maybe a bit more of an 'edge', stronger than K. Too similar to warrant any more, but it is absolutely gorgeous, and if you missed out on K, and love orange blossom and amber, you HAVE to get it. Amber and orange blossom do pair lovely on me if I do say. :)

  9. I initially passed on this, as I thought it would be extremely heady, heavy tropical floral. After reviews, I hunted down a decant and I'm happy to say I was wrong. I have a honeysuckle, but it doesn't smell, unless the scent comes out at night. It is a Northern variety, though, and it looks different than some of it's southern cousins. This is sweet, but in an airy, fresh way. It smells like late spring, on a hot day when bees are buzzing around all the flowers. A little goes a long way, and I'll be sure to apply sparingly next time. Contemplating another imp or partial, as it really is strong and I don't foresee me using it a lot, only in warmer months.

  10. I wore this one last night before going to bed, as I love lavender for sleepy time:) I find this is definite lavender, with a touch of edible coconut. It is quite nice, but I prefer the non foody version of coconut in my perfumes. This is the toasted variety that is so delicious to eat, and reminds me of coconut cream pie. It doesn't remind me of TKO, it's too sharp for me in that regards. The touch of coconut really just is just a touch. No upgrade necessary, I have so many lavender blends and though this one is nice, I am not wowed.

  11. I went and ordered a bottle after even getting my decants, as the reviews seemed like this one would be right up my alley. I'm getting what I think is the lab 's champagne note, a touch of lavender and Snake Oil in equal proportions. I used to wear Chanel 5 a shit ton in the late 80's, but I can't remember what it smells like, and this is not ringing any bells. Could be, and not that it matters, I really like this, though I wish the champagne note (though it's not fizzy, like it normally is with other lab incarnations) was a little less loud. I'm hoping it will mellow out with some age behind her. This is soft and cozy, and a definite win.

  12. Thanks to my fairy for picking this up for me!! At first, this is honey mint, and not much else. It is airy fresh, and reminds me somewhat of Iulia, from the CD series. I love mint, and like honey, so this is great. After a bit, it becomes more balanced with the peach and marshmallow coming out. A fluffy, slightly fruity marshmallow with a touch of honey mint. Nice! This would be lovely for summer.

  13. I should have looked at the label art before purchasing, (decant circle), as it would have indicated that this was a dude blend:) As it goes, this is a rough, aggressive dude blend. Lots of musk and leather, and I could swear there was vetiver here, but it's not listed. I should try it on my husband and see how it smells on him. Very nice, but not for me.

  14. I never in a million years would think that I would ever like peach, but it's funny how tastes change. This one is a bright, fruity blend. Kind of like a fruity floral, but I don't see any floral notes listed. It reminds me of my Mom, who likes loud, tropical scents, which is funny, because her personality is not like that at all. It starts out barely there, and just blooms on the skin. i really like this one for scent memory of my mom in the 80's getting dressed up to go out to dinner with my dad. I don't get any strawberry or sandalwood fwiw.

  15. Lovely perfect cherry. Not too sweet, along with musk to balance everything out. This brings to mind one of my favourite mainstream perfumes, Pink Sugar, only so much better without the fake aldehydes and alcohol. The only bad thing is this is probably my HG, and I only have an imps worth. I wish the Lab would make scents like this more widely available, instead of making them super exclusive.
