  1. Wet, sweet woods, kind of odd, masculine definitely. Dry, there's still sweet woods, but there's a lovely spice along with it. This kind of reminds me of Atlas Moth, and that marshmallow burnt blend from last year's Pickman's, I think it was The Gorroble, and more like Dolly Kei as time goes on. This is sweet and mellow on me, and very wearable, and it's somehow turned less masculine over the course of the hour, even though I'm getting a tobacco vibe here. Think Perversion meets Haloes. I may seek down a decant or partial, this is really nice.

  2. Lots of red musk here at first, not sweet at all, kind of a masculine Hygiea at this point. After a bit, it is red musk and mahogany. This is a dude red musk blend for sure! Becomes powdery on me after twenty minutes or so, but I don't really mind powder. I'd love to smell this on a guy, but it is just too masculine for me to upgrade.

  3. Very cologney at first. Dries to a rather pleasant 'green' scent, as described, with some tart, dark fruits. I like this, but don't know how often I'd wear it. It more reminds me of an abandoned cabin in the woods with overgrown vines and berries and the occasional lily or two with good vibes rather than an evil haunted house garden.

  4. So this pumpkin is a bit different than the others. I'm getting the spicy pumpkin base, but there's also a bit of masculine woodiness here, and maaaybe a touch of bitter coffee. I kind of like this, but probably wouldn't wear it too often, as it is pretty spicy. Nice to try though!

  5. Wow, this is REALLY tropical. I'm getting mostly heady floral, which I'm assuming is the osmanthus, but there is a fresh greenness to the blend as well. Not getting any coconut, which disappoints me a bit. This is kind of nice for a cold winter's day, it reminds me of what the tropics would smell like. This is 'OK', but not something I'd wear regularly, though nice for association's sake. Glad I just got a decant.

  6. This is AMAZING at first. Tart gummies (smell's like strawberries) to me, with a slight musky vibe. After a bit, much the same, only there is a unpleasant dusty vibe, with something dark and annoying that doesn't belong. I'm wondering if there is pom here due to the dusty note. Almost herbal, or vetiver-like on me. The beginning stages reminded me of Loli-goth, and though the end result is aaaaalmost the same, there is that annoying sour/off/dusty note in the background. I'll keep my decant, as it's not a total loss, but I'm glad I just got a decant.

  7. Pleasant fruity musk at first, then changes to a dusty spice with a touch of mango and cream. I LOVED the mango note at first, it was fresh and juicy. I don't know what my skin did to this, but it's switches from dusty spice to a lovely drink, as described. Still, during the nice phase, it's not really me, but I need to try this drink!

  8. I was all ready to write this one off, as all I'm getting from the bottle is brown sugar and rum, lightly baked so that there is a slight cooked brown sugar aka caramel vibe. I really dislike caramel in all forms, and on the skin, this is much the same. At this stage, probably a foody lovers dream, but my nightmare. An hour later, something magical happens, and we're left with a lovely vanilla skin scent, similar to Dana O'Shea, but softer, and much more akin to your natural smell, only better. There's a bit of a lotion vibe, similar to baby oil, so it's like vanilla-tinged baby oil, but it adds a lovely dimension to the scent. I really don't like the early stages, but the end result is rather worth it. I'm wondering if aging will strengthen the caramel stage or weaken it. I'm hoping not, as I REALLY like this, though it must be slathered to appreciate it. :wub2:

  9. Not too much to add here, a cinnamon heavy dragon's blood blend. It is quite nice, and comforting. I was calm in an extremely stressful situation while wearing it, though not as calm as I would have liked. I only put a small dab on my heart, though, maybe I needed more.

  10. Kind of fishy incense, kind of like cod liver oil with church resins. It then dries to something to neither fishy nor incense, but kind of a light, fresh airy blend, but with a touch of that cod liver oil. While eating my breakfast, I noticed that something smelled like vitamins, not the chewable kind, but those big yellow ones, or how a health food store smells like. Up close, nice and airy, and the throw is vitamins. Not for me, but an interesting blend to try.

  11. I've never really liked Sugar Skull in the past. I don't like the combination of brown sugar and dried fruits, I guess. This one is a bit different from what I remember. I'm getting the brown sugar, but it's like it's being baked very slowly with the fruits. Not quite caramel, but there's a 'toastiness' to the quality of the sugar. Not so fruity anymore, and I'm getting some spices, which I don't remember smelling in previous incarnations. So it's baked sugar and spices on me. Still not what I would wear, but to me it is an improvement with the added spices and less fruit.

  12. This ends up being a creamy, bright citrus on me. Kind of like a lime starburst would taste like, but with a hint of coconut. It fades rather quickly on me, in a little over an hour, but it is nice while it lasts. I may upgrade to decant, but probably no bottle due to the fast fade factor on me.

On an aside, I'm probably one of the few weird ones who love spiders. Mainly because they kill flies, but they have interesting symbolism.

  13. This smells more fruity to me than winey. There's lots of lush grapes and red musk, it reminds me a lot of Semiramis, not sure if it's the bath oil or perfume I'm remembering. This is bright and voluptuous, but not really me, it's just too fruity. Not getting other notes, just the red musk and (sweet) grapes.

  14. Really, really green at first, and there's a cologne vibe as well. I think because it is just so GREEN. After a bit, it's not so strong, and the dirt note is making itself known. I'm getting something quite vegetal, maybe the pumpkin? Whatever the case, it smells kind of like a 'garden' perfume. Not a true garden smell, but I quite like it, though Death Cap is my fave dirt scent ever. Hmm, may need a decant of this one, I love the green vibe.

  15. I tried this twice today, with slightly different results. The first time was right out of the mailbox, and it was mild, sweet patchouli with honeysuckle. Now who would have thunk that these two scent smell oh so nice together. The second time, sweet, honeyed patchouli, but the honeysuckle came out 45 minutes later or so. I"m thinking the oil was freezing cold, so maybe that was the difference? At any rate, I think I need more. This kind of reminds me of a less intense Haloes, or Osiris v4. Lovely.
