    Philologus

Wet, this is quite cologney. Dry, it is still quite incense/cologne, but more subdued. I was expecting more of a dusty paper. For some reason, I get a touch of violet in the background of the cologne vibe. This really is quite hypnotic for me, for some reason. I can imagine a hot library geek vampire seducing me with this perfume. After a bit, it becomes even more violet-like to me, and much more wearable, but ultimately, it is not really my kind of blend.

    Cykranoshian Catnip

At first, this is your garden variety cat nip. I hate to describe perfumes as 'drugstore', but this is what it goes to. You know the spray deodorants out there, Axe et al. A chemical spray, a bit musky, but somehow underneath, there is something rather sweet, vanilla-like and quite pleasant. Unfortuneatly, the musk or woods or whatever the main scent of this plant is, covers it up. I accidently spilled most of the imp on me, and it still faded really fast. Damn, I was expecting something like Knick-Knack here and was hoping for a woody orange like KK. I'm just a tad disappointed.

    Ghoul Hooligan

Wet, this is rum ball chocolate, really quite icky, and plus the fact that this particular imp leaked over my others stuff it is double ick. So on, it is a different story. A lovely, spicy blend, with a touch of milk chocolate. It is actually reminiscent of some of the 13 blends. I like this, but I think the imp will suffice when I want to wear some foody chocolate.

    Erebos Atmosphere Spray

I really can't add anything else here. This is TKO Room Spray Version (pretty much!). I find there is a bit more 'freshness' here, but other than that, it is TKO. I LOVE this, and will probably go through this bottle insanely fast. eta after a few hours, this doesn't really smell like TKO to me, but I still LOVE it. It is a coolish sweet musky tobacco now. After a WHOLE DAY, I can still smell traces of this lovely spray, and I only squirted a few times.

    Paper Kite

At first, this is a menthol medicinal mint, which I'm guessing is the Angelica. As it dries, this disappears, and I get a slightly sweet dry coconut blend. This is very summery and would be great for the beach. I'll enjoy the imp while it lasts, but ultimately this is not 'me'.

    Spicebush Swallowtail

This is pretty much cassia/cinnamon on me from wet to dry in the most foody way possible. Like a Gingerbread cookie with cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top. This is way to fall-like and kind of annoying to wear in the heat of summer, but I'm sure I'll enjoy the imp in cooler weather. I think this would also make a great room scent.

    Tiki Princess

Tiki Princess was not quite what I expected, which is actually a good thing. I was thinking 'girly' pink, which this is not. I find this to be a bit of a 'naughty', princess with secrets. It's far more grown up than I thought it would be, and not all that sweet. This is kind of a raw, not foody coconut, but becomes a bit sweeter as it dries. I think it's the same coconut as Death Adder. This does kind of remind me of Velvet Tiki without the pineapple, and less sweet. I may just pick up a bottle of this.

    Monarch

At first, this is quite orangey. The orange disappears as it dries, and we're left with a mild warm spice. Kind of like Gingerbread Poppet meets Pumpkin Queen. This blend is more suited for fall to me. I really wish the orange stayed, as was quite delicious while it lasted. Kind of a Pumpkin Queen lite. No need for a bottle, as I have PQ.

    Luna

Fresh, sweet and slightly green when wet with a touch of tea. Ends up being a sweet, slightly lime tea, and oddly enough a get a cream note here. After an hour or so, this reminds me of a toned down Agape, but all in all, this is much too sweet near the beginning, and I too, wish the lime came out more.

    Common Jezebel

At first this is quite fruity, a peachy apricot, very juicy and realistic. Unfortunate for me, as I'm not into fruity, but the mix of fruit and vetiver intrigued me. Dry, the sweet fruit is tempered by the vetiver, and this ends up being quite wearable for me. Dry, dusty, slightly sweet (dried) apricot now. I like this, but probably not enough for a bottle. Will enjoy my decant, though, while it lasts!

    Great Grey Witch

This ends up being a 'gentle', lemony blend. Yes, it is kind of like a Lush shop. 'Natural', is the word that brings mind to this scent. Soft, sweet lemon, not overly citrussy, it's actually very much like Crib Girls to me, only instead of the honey, it is sugar that sweetens the blend up. I like it, but it really doesn't seem like something I'd wear. Maybe to bathe in, but not perfume.

    Rosy Maple

I don't know why I was expecting a fall blend here, (perhaps the word 'maple'), but this is definitely a late spring or summer blend. It is a citrussy 'pink' very sweet blend. Normally I don't like very uber sweet blends, but this is tempered by a citrus vibe. It's kind of like a pink lemon, if that makes sense, but not the pink lemondade scent itself. I get the candyfloss, and this ends up being a spun sugar sour snow cone with cotton candy scent drifting in the background. I like this, but don't know how often I'd actually wear it, as it seems a bit young for me. eta: He He, I just seen Midnight Aeval describing this as a pink lemon scent, but not pink lemonade.

Thanks to Jen for the empty! This only confirms that I was going straight to bottle without decants! I managed to squeeze a bit out of the bottle, so here goes. In the bottle, this is pretty spicy, and I've come to discover that I only like spice in limited quantities. As it dries, a comforting, vanilla cookie comes out, much like the cookie scent in Mr. Nancy, and the spice takes a back seat. I'll have to hunt down my imp of Underpants, but this kind of reminds me of it. Not sure why, but I also get a yummy tobacco, not cigarette smoke, but like the tobacco in Mr. Nancy (again, I'm reminded of it for some reason). I can't wait until I order and get my bottle so I can slather and see what this scent is like in quantity rather than the drop or two (which I am very thankful for, as I was considering not ordering it)! WIN!!

    Panther Moon

This is a soft, gleaming 'black', blend on me. It is very hard to distinguish the notes, but it is much softer than I thought it would be. Think of a toned down Mircalla/Marianne/Scherezade, which fades faster than any of these. The black musk doesn't even smell like black musk to me. It's almost a cross between black and red, if that makes sense. I get a bit of spice here as well. I like this, but probably not enough to hunt down a bottle unless something changes throughout the next few hours. It is just too fast of a fade, and I have similar blends that last longer. oops, a few weeks later and a bit of rest has improved this blend immensely on me. This is kind of like a cross between BTBT and Raven Moon, only this doesn't go powdery on me like Raven Moon did. I pretty much NEED a bottle of this now...

    Pa-Pow

At first, this is sharp greenery with a mish mash of flowers. As it dries, I get a dusty, furry vibe, and the greenery has taken a background. This blend is not loud, screaming florals, which I was scared of and didn't order a bottle when it was available. It reminds me of the scent of a hot summer day in a meadow, actually. This is also reminiscent of Wulric, but without the lavender and with dusty flowers instead. This really melds well with my skin chemistry, and I'm kind of wishing I sprung for a bottle when it was available. For now, I'm just glad that someone frimped me an imp.

    Sara Pezzini

This blend really doesn't change much from wet to dry. I get a musky honey with a bit of smoky vanilla and leather. It's pretty much a toned down Liz minus the raunchy perfume note that ruined Liz for me. My husband commented on it, that I smelled 'nice' and he hardly ever does that unless I'm wearing Smut or Snake Oil. I like this, I think it's smells 'nice', on me, but not sure if it's bottle material, though I may hunt down a partial or decant. This is where sniffies don't really work. When you want 'more' of something, but not necessarily a lot more.

    Mr. Croup

Pretty much a dark blend. Sweet, woody musk. A bit too masculine for me, but certainly glad I got to try this!

    Alecto

This ends up being predominantly vetiver, though it isn't 'loud'. I do love cedar, and I get a bit here as well, but that is it. Vetiver and cedar, but maybe the olive blossom is sweetening it up a bit. It does kind of remind me of Olisboos, but without the leather. I like it, but not enough for a bottle.

    Gothabilly

This blend does not change very much from wet to dry. This blend is a creamy cherry with just a touch of fizz. This really reminds me of one of the fancy sodas you can get here in Canada. I can't remember the name, but they have a clear cream soda that smells a lot like this. This is also very reminiscent of Velvet Unicorn, Plastic Pink Flamingo. I sure wish I got the Egyptian musk, as it would make this blend much more wearable as right now, it is just too sweet and foody for me.

    Sophia

Wet, this is all jasmine, of the powdery variety. Not too sharp, which is a good thing. It fades to a rather non-descript floral. Maaaybe a touch of lavender, but I wouldn't have known it was there if I didn't take a peek. What I do smell is the faintest whiff of jasmine. Fast fader for sure, and not even worth a second test.

    Umbra

Yum, a dark blend! I've been really digging the dark scents lately, probably because my mood has been dark. So this is what patchouli smells like. I'm assuming so, as I don't get much else than a 'dirty' note. This is the same note I get in Mme Moriarty and Crypt Queen and I LOVE it! Unfortuneately, it's a quick fade. I will definitely use up the imp, but I certainly have enough blends with this note in them. I kind of wish the woods came out a bit more...

    Mysterious Warning

YuM! Wet, this is a gorgeous, warm lavender sweetened by the amber. As it dries, a cooler jasmine comes out, but it is not piercing, or heady, it just makes the blend cooler somehow. There is still a bit of sweet amber in the background, but funnily enough, the lavender has taken a back seat now. Whatever the case, I LOVE this. A warm and coolish lavender blend, slightly sweet amber, and now I'm getting a touch of leather. Lovely, and I'll probably hunt a back-up down at some point. I do hope the amber strengthens with age, as I do favour the wet stage here. But a big WIN!

    Night's Bridge

This one really surprised me. I was expecting a 'dark' heavy scent, with cold wet stone. What I get is mint on warm rock. It's not a 'scary', forboding scent, it's rather herbal and warm. This is what I'd imagine an ancient stone bridge to smell like in the middle of summer with mint growing by the water. The sun has baked the stone, and scent of mint is wafting up. I do like this, not sure if it's enough for a bottle though. This would be a great 'feel better' blend if you were feeling under the weather. Still thinking about a bottle, or at least a decant...

    Rivet.Goth

Wet, this is raw leather with metal and engine grease. It kind of reminds me a bit of Mutant Hot Rodders, but not as metally butch. Not very promising so far. Dry, I get no metal anymore, just a warm, worn in comforting leather of the biker type. Not a biker with his gut hanging over his jeans and an unkempt beard, but a tanned, lean, muscular one with chaps and black boots. Perhaps there is a bit of oil on his arms, from working on his bike on a hot summer day. I'd probably molest the guy who wore this, but it really is a bit too masculine for me to wear. I love how it just seems so warm and evocative. I'll definitely keep the imp, but not for me.

    Sacred Whore of Babylon

At first this is a sweet, fruity, red musk blend. It really reminds me of Hollywood Babylon at this point. I scent that really does not work for me. The fruit gradually fades away (thank goodness!), and we're left with a sweet, dirty patchouli musk blend. This would probably work on me if it wasn't too sweet. Probably a remnant of the fruit, which I'm guessing is strawberry. Oh yeah, there's the cinnamon, which only saves this blend slightly. Off to swaps. OK, now it is a spicy, red musk blend. It really reminds me of Red Phoenix now, but with a bit of creaminess. I don't like cinnamon/cassia anymore, (unless it's in small doses, so still off to swaps!)
